LUKE'S POV

I hatefully glared at the F****r, who had the audacity to smirk smugly at me. I walked closer to him and literally growled at the a**h**e who chuckled tauntingly at me.

"Listen here you B*****d, my personal life or professional life is none of your business, so stay the f**k away from me, and your sister knew about me and my rules before we even got involved with each other. Its not my fault that she still opted to win me over, when she knew that I did not do relationships. Moreover she is married now, so just go threaten someone else,I am not going to fall for your pathetic attempts to scare me." I snapped with a menacing glare and was about to walk away from there, when he said someone's name, which made my breath hitch.

"Hi Belle!!, No, no I am doing good, it's just that your dear bff and brother-in-law is here, yeah , yeah! He actually brought Breakfast,but much to his displeasure, neither you nor Lucas were present here, so is it okay if he comes to your office?.... Nah I didn't provoke him nor did I fought with him... Wow!! You trust me so much don't you? .......... Ok, ok, by the way are you busy? .......... Jeez, no need to be sarcastic, ...... Nah, nevermind then......... Uh!! It's just that your bff Lukey bear has something important to discuss with you.......... Ofcourse he said that, ..... Come on Belle, I am not making it up....... Me and Lukey Bear are bffs now, hmm ok then. I will inform him,........ Yes Madre I'll take care of myself. Ok bye Belle." That Mason f*****g White was speaking to Tesero on call. By his talks it didn't seem like she knew anything about my previous yelling. I sighed in relief and threw a murderous look at that F****r. How dare he?

I was about to march towards him, however I stopped abruptly once he effortlessly stood up and pointed his gun at me. I scoffed at that, bloody looser.

"Lukey bear it will be good for you if you get out from here as I am particularly not fond of talking to you, atleast not now cause I don't want scoldings from belle because I strained myself more. So now do yourself a favor and help yourself out, and you better think about some important information, as you have to inform that to Sanvi urgently. " He stated with an evil glint in his eyes, his face was stoic. I groaned frustratingly and threw a warning look at him and exited out from there, my breakfast long forgotten.

I entered Rossi Enterprises and walked towards the Elevator, while greeting few of the old staffs who I knew personally.

I exited out of the lift and entered the main floor where Sanvi's cabin was, I was stopped by Steve (Sanvi's PA)

"I apologise Mr Luke, but you cannot go in as Mrs Knight has some important foreign delegates, with whom she is discussing about an important collaboration for a project. " Steve professionally informed me, however I frowned upon hearing his words.

Then how come Mason talked to her on phone?

"The Foreign delegates, did they arrive just now ?" I curiously questioned Steve and he shook his head with a tired sigh.

"They are here from 2 and a half an hours and they are still going on and on about the project, Mrs Knight is going to be late, she had to reach the hospital by now. But she is still stuck in the meeting and I had to call her Hospital and asked them to spare an hour and half. " Steve explained wearily. I was shocked, what?
If Sanvi was busy this entire time, then that f****r tricked me......

What the f*****g hell?
I mentally groaned in irritation.
Oh!! I am so going to kill him the next time I meet him.

"Oh!! Then I will leave as Tes-- Sanvi is busy, inform her to call --"
I stopped talking when I saw Sanvi coming out with two men's and a woman, She was bidding them goodbye with a handshake. They enthusiastically greeted her back and Sanvi asked Steve to escort them to the elevator, which he obviously obliged.

Sanvi smiled widely when she noticed my presence. She eagerly walked towards me and hugged me,I hugged her back.

Our hugging lasted for few more seconds, then we both entered her cabin.

"Lukey as much as I am happy about the fact that you came here to meet me, I still want to know about the reason of your arrival." Sanvi questioned me after she sat on her swivel chair, her arms on the table and her chin was supported by her palms. She curiously gazed at me.

I smiled lovingly at how cute she looked, I was so immersed in her that I forgot that she asked me something.

"Luke are you here? What happened?" Sanvi called out my name while waving her hand infront of me, probably to bring me out of my thoughts. I shook my head with a guilty feeling and was about to open my mouth to reply when her phone rang, she casted me an apologetic smile and picked up the call with a wide smile.

Who was it?

"Lucas!! ..... Yeah I just finished my meeting with the foreign delegates. Well they looked pretty excited and impressed. So I am hoping that they would soon agree to my proposal, ..... Hmm, let's hope for the best. .... Yep, I was supposed to be at the hospital by now,it actually is postponed a little, I will leave in an hour ....... Is that Mickey? Mickey don't you have any other works? Why are you always in Lucas's cabin?..... I am not jealous, I was just curious, coz you are the famous lawyer, who apparently spends more time in my husband's company than his own...... Hmm, I am not in the mood to cook today, so shall we eat out today? ..... Ok, then pick me up from the hospital, I will leave my car here, .... Did you have your breakfast? ..... Ok then, oh wait, Luke is here actually, ...... I don't know he was about to say, but you called...... Hmm, Bye then, have your lunch on time and Bye Mickey. " Sanvi was speaking happily with Lucas and Micheal. She is unconsciously liking Lucas more than she is aware of, I know Sanvi like the back of my hand. This was the same reaction she had for Nate in the first three weeks. She was smiling widely by the time she hanged up the call.

"Luke would you like to have dinner with us? Mickey is coming too? I was thinking about calling Mahi Di, Anna and Eddie to join us, what say? I also wanted Lucas to meet Cole,as he is in town and it's been forever since we all Bffs had spent time together. Well Mason cannot come, cause he is injured and I don't want him straining himself. So you will join us right?" Sanvi cutely asked me, I nodded my head in affirmation without a second thought, I can never deny her. It's not possible at all.
She grinned triumphantly .

"By the way, any specific reason for your arrival here?" Sanvi queried curiousity dancing in her eyes. I simply shook my head and smiled at her.

"I was just passing by and thought to try my luck and surprisingly I was lucky today, as you were here, that's it." I casually informed her, she made an Oh!!sound and nodded to herself. I know that she didn't buy my lie, but was rather being respective of my privacy.

"Then I will take my leave now as I have some work and even you have to go to your hospital. Ok then bye tesero." I announced and she got up from her chair and hugged me, I whispered a small 'sorry' to her.

"Hey!! Luke it's okay, No need to be sorry, you didn't waste my time, I am rather happy that you came to meet me, and don't forget our plans for tonight!! Bye, drive safely." Sanvi dismissed my apology and once again reminded of our plans, I nodded my head in positive and exited out from her cabin.

I wasn't apologising for entering your office tesero, I was apologising for being not strong enough to stop loving you. Loving you is forbidden,it's a sin, however it's still the only thing I treasure in my heart. I have no rights to love you Sanvi, but I cannot stop loving you, it's impossible for me. I am sorry!!

LUCAS'S POV

"Eli for the love of God can you leave me alone for sometime?" I literally pleaded Eli and he smirked evilly and showed me his tongue, I incredibly stared at him, Why the f**k is behaving like a kid?
Again, What was I even thinking when I agreed to become his bestfriend?

Probably nothing considering the fact that you both were one year old's ? My conscience muttered nonchalantly. I rolled my eyes at that.

Yeah, maybe nothing!!

"Eli I have an important meeting next!!" I disclosed with a raised brow and he simply tsk-ed and sat next to King, while squishing the life out of my poor son. He is lucky that King likes him, otherwise he would have bitten Eli for even touching him like that!!

"So What Lucy?" Eli questioned me as if it wasn't a big deal. I glared daggers at him when I heard my son whining irritably. Thankfully Eli stopped crushing him and scooted back in his seat, I seriously think that I saw my King sighing in relief.

"Lucy your important meeting is with Jacob and we both know that he isn't going to mind my presence." Eli replied with a shrug and I frowned. Who on earth gives Eli my schedule?

"Oh!! Don't worry, Your Joel doesn't open his mouth about your schedule even after bribing him with latest watches, it's just that I ask my hacker to hack your schedule. That's it." Eli answered it so casually without a care in the world,as if he just now didn't confess about hacking my system.

Who the f*****g hell thought that it was a good idea to give him his Lawyer license?
I thought dumbfounded-ly.

I was about to open my mouth when I heard a knock on my cabin, I called Joel to come in, as he is the only one who has the permission to come in my cabin and my family does not know the concept of knocking. He entered looking enraged for the first time since he started working as my PA.

"Mr Knight I am seriously going to kill that Clara Miller" That was first thing Joel said as he entered my cabin. I stared at him in confusion. What did that fake barbie do now?

"She entered the company without an appointment and started making a scene saying that she is your future girlfriend and she need no appointment to meet you and when our Lobby receptionist threatened her that she'll call the security, Clara Miller started saying that she will spread in the media that we humiliated her and abused her and that will stain your name Mr Knight, so our Receptionist agreed to her, what Clara Miller didn't know is that, the Receptionist called me not you and when I entered the Lobby, I saw her and politely informed her to leave from here or to take an appointment to meet you, then that girl started cursing me, she even called me a faggot!! Then she just stormed out of the company. " Joel blabbered angrily, now I was furious along with Eli who was clenching and unclench-ing his fists.

How dare she? Who the f**k permitted her to curse at my employees.

"Eli I want restraining order against that fake barbie. Do it as soon as possible." I furiously stated and Eli nodded his head and called someone.

"Calm down Joel and you should have said something back to that fake barbie. You shouldn't have let her off the hook so easily." I remarked seriously and Joel smirked proudly.

"Oh I did said that I am happy about the fact that I am not a s**t like her, who claims someone else's husband as her future boyfriend and that I got this job by my qualifications and my capabilities unlike her who sleeps her way to get her modelling projects. " Joel proudly stated while mine and Eli's eye balls threatened to fall out from their sockets. Oh God!! When did my shuttering PA became like this?

He was all shy and clumsy, now he is like all sassy and savage!!

As if he listened to my thoughts, Joel blushed furiously and started shuttering apologies, which I dismissed and as Joel opened my cabin's door, he collided with Jacob, who instinctively held Joel's waist and that prevented them from kissing the floor.

They both were so engrossed in blushing about their closeness that they completely forgot about the audience, which unsurprisingly was my own self and Eli.

" I would love to see more of this drama, however I feel extremely devastated to inform you guys that Joel has some important work to do and you Jacob have a meeting with Lucas!! Nonetheless if you guys want we can arrange this drama once again." Eli sarcastically commented, which made Joel and Jacob to flinch back from each other as if they touched fire or something. Joel muttered some incoherent words and exited out of my cabin. Jacob entered my cabin and mumbled an apology, his cheeks heating in embarrassment. I simply rubbed my temples in exasperation.

Great!!
My cabin has became some sort of circus.

Why God? Why me?

Because you are the owner of the Circus and you are also a part of that circus!! My conscience retorted back and I most definitely wanted to bang my head at this...

Ughh!!

"Mr Knight shall we?" I snapped out of my inner misery and shot a questioning look towards Jacob.

"To where?" I asked with a frown, Why are we even going somewhere else?

"I don't know Mr Knight!!" Jacob answered hesitantly. His facial expressions screamed clueless-ness.

"Wha-"

"Oh God!!Lucy , Jacob was just asking you about starting the meeting that's it!! He most certainly wasn't calling you for an outing. " Eli cut me off in the middle and cleared out the confusion with a deadpanned expression. I simply shook my head and gestured Jacob to express his thoughts about the project.

After discussing for an hour and a half we came to a certain conclusion and our meeting ended with a positive outcome.

Now,Jacob was narrating about some legal issue to Eli, who listened intently and he was now fully into his Lawyer mode, as his carefree attitude was replaced by a stoic expression.

I was drinking water, when Jacob abruptly asked about something or rather someone....... Which made me choke!!

"Lucas, did you by any chance found out the reason of Nate's and Sanvi's seperation? " Jacob curiously questioned me, his eyes shining with hope. I started coughing and Eli stood up, walked near me and started rubbing my back while giving me a small apologetic look. Jacob was staring at me in concern.

I stopped coughing after a minute or so ....

"Are you alright Lucas?" Jacob asked me and I nodded my head in affirmation.

"So did you find out the reason for Nate's and Sanvi's seperation?" Jacob once again repeated his previous question. I hesitated at first,I shouldn't discuss about Nathaniel's incident with everyone, however Jacob is their old friend and I guess that he deserves to know.

"Jacob, Nathaniel is no more, he demised three years ago " I dropped the bomb woefully and Jacob froze in his seat.

All of a sudden as if he came out of his trance Jacob stood up and harshly banged on my glass table, I seriously thought that my table was going to shred into pieces, but thankfully it didn't, but I couldn't say the same about an outraged Jacob. He was fuming in anger.

"WHAT THE F*****G HELL ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT? Listen Lucas, I get it that you are bound to hate Nate, but stop spewing lies. YOU HAVE NO ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO DOWNRIGHT DECLARE HIM DEAD!!" Jacob's voice thundered in my whole cabin. I would have never tolerated someone raising their voice at me, but I knew about Jacob's dilemma. He was in denial, he couldn't digest the fact that his old friend was dead. I was feeling extremely sympathized for him.

"Jacob,I truly wish that it was all a lie, but I am not lying, it's the truth. Nathaniel is no more, he died or more like some obsessed psycho attempted to murder Sanvi and Nathaniel took the shot on behalf of Sanvi, he saved his love and on contrary to what you think, I do not resent Nathaniel, I pretty much admire him." I somehow tried to explain as softly as I can and I knew that I failed horribly, when I saw Eli grimacing at my supposed soft tone. I rolled my eyes at my bestfriend, he will never let me be in silence or to feel the emotions surrounding me except for irritation, I scowled at Eli and turned towards Jacob.

Jacob's head was down-casted I couldn't look at his face, however he had a tight grip on my table, his hands were visibly shaking, he shuddered slightly.

"Washroom?" Jacob merely whispered and Eli pointed towards the right corner, Jacob hurriedly walked towards the washroom.

I sighed helplessly !!

God!!
Jacob surely is devastated by now.
The way he swiftly rushed inside the washroom tells everything about his state.

"I don't think that we can ever understand their pain Lucy, I can't even imagine something bad happening to you, it makes me want to puke so badly, it's a sickening feeling, imagine how that Cole would have felt or Sanvi? She suffered a lot, but she still smiles everyday as if her life was nothing but rainbows and flowers." Eli mumbled in distraught. Eli looked like he was having a mental conflict on his own, I sighed heavily, got up from my chair and hugged Eli, who tightly held me as if I was vanishing away from him. I rubbed his back.

"Eli I am fine, nothing happened to me." I whispered softly and in return all I received was a snort from my bestfriend.

"I know that you are doing well and good and moreover Lucy you are the devil!! Who on earth would dare to mess with you?" Eli spoke confidently, while I pushed him away from me with a scowl. Why did I even think about consoling him?

"Oh come on Lucy , that was rude! You shouldn't behave like that with your bestfriend!" Eli mocked with a smirk. This person is the devil and he has the audacity to call me the Devil?
I rolled my eyes and sat back in my seat.
Just then my phone buzzed, It was a message from Sanvi.

ℒucas I have invited Luke, Edward, Anna, Mahi Di and Cole to join our dinner outing,I hope that it's fine with you as Mickey is joining us too!!

I smiled after reading her message, I knew that she was going to invite Luke for sure as he was present when we made the plan. I shook my head with a smile and typed an okay, Sanvi replied instantly with a wide smile emoji. I smiled and kept the phone aside.

"Oi!! Mr Romeo, done chatting with your Juliet?" Eli sarcastically questioned me with a raised brow, I was about to fire back at him, however I stopped abruptly when I saw Jacob coming out of the washroom. His eyes were red and puffy, his hairs was slightly disheveled. He has cried. I sadly thought.

"Hey Jacob!! Are you free tonight?" I queried curiously, Jacob was startled by my suddenness, however he hesitantly nodded his head in affirmation. I smiled slightly.

"Would you like to meet your old friends today Jacob?" I asked him with a small smirk and his eyes widened immediately.

"What?" Jacob confusedly questioned while slightly tilting his head.
Eli was smiling widely knowing very well about my idea.
Hmmm, let's surprise Sanvi.

AUTHOR'S POV

Clara Miller was fuming in rage and humiliation, she couldn't believe that a mere PA had insulted her infront of everyone. She despised that little b***h who indirectly called her a s**t. She would have shown him his place,if it wasn't for her boss's message, she wanted to meet her at a secluded spot in exact half an hour.

Once Clara reached there, she parked her car and got out of it.

The moment she reached her Boss, a loud slapping sound echoed in the area.

"You had one job only one , yet you couldn't complete the task and on top of that you had the audacity to commit another mistake!! Only because of your carelessness, I had to hire a different girl to seduce Lucas who is not only marvellous but is also a f*****g genius, unlike a dim-witted s**t like you!! So get lost and never show me your face ever again." The Boss threatening-ly stated with a bone-chilling tone, which made Clara flinch back and nod her head clumsily.

Clara kept quiet , she wouldn't dare to disrespect her not even in her wildest dreams, as she knew very well about the consequences.

Lucas can't escape from me, not anymore
The Boss thought with an evil smirk.

On the other hand, Lucas was waiting for Sanvi in his car. He was fed up of waiting inside and decided to wait outside, Lucas exited out of the car,while he was leaning on his car, he saw something which made his blood boil.
Sanvi was hugging an unknown man, they parted from the hug, but that man kept a firm hold on her waist, Lucas's jaw clenched seeing them interact in such a way, Lucas was about to turn around when he heard Sanvi calling him. He stopped and saw Sanvi dragging that unknown man in his direction. Lucas was struggling to keep his cool, he so badly wanted to rip that man's arm.

"Lucas!! I am so sorry, I had to discuss something important with my senior and Lucas do you know who this is? ...... Okkkk!! I thought you would be able to guess, but never mind!! Lucas this is Cole, Nate's bestfriend and my brother/bestie and Cole this is Lucas my husband." Sanvi introduced and Lucas was baffled to know that the person standing before him was Cole and he was also an inch taller than him.

Nathaniel wanted to protect this man? Lucas thought incredulously.

Sanvi entered the passenger seat and sat down, while Cole passed Lucas a smirk and purposely said his greeting out loud.

"It's nice to meet you Lucas." Lucas nodded his head in a greeting manner, his face stoic, even if he was mentally confused as hell.

It looked like Cole didn't like him, it's not like he cared about anyone's opinion or liking, but he was still confused about the smirk Cole was giving him.

"You won't feel nice about meeting me Lucas, I guarantee you " Cole whispered warningly to Lucas, who just ignored his words and sat in the driver's seat. Cole scoffed and went to his own car.

Sanvi was excitedly reciting her today's events to Lucas who was driving while having only one thought.

Why does Cole hates so much, I didn't even met him before today?
