I was sitting in my study while completing some of my works..

I completed my pending works, along with a little extra works..
I sighed in exhaustion.
Shit!! I have nothing else to do...
So I got up from my chair and exited out of my study and went to my room.

I freshened up myself and lied on my bed while scrolling some nonsense on my phone.

After few minutes,I had enough of this paparazzi spreading their oh-so-great- imagination and ridiculous rumours about mine and Luke's birthday and how am I going to celebrate my birthday this time as I am married and all.
I can't believe their out of the world imagination.
I rolled my eyes at that.
Just like all these years ...
With Luke and Eli...
And about married and all ,my wife Sanvi she is out of country...
Yeah.... Great...

Aww, Lucas are you by any chance feeling disappointed because Sanvi will be out on our first birthday after marriage? My conscience mocked me in a sugary sweet voice.
I must be really crazy for listening and talking to someone in my mind...
I just sighed heavily and tried to sleep.

After a lot of tossing and turning I was finally feeling sleepy and just then I heard a commotion...
Or more like a door opening sound... Wait what... I woke up abruptly and screamed when I saw someone hovering above me.
Ahhhhhh!!

"Goddammit Lucas stop screaming like a banshee I am one second away from turning deaf." I glared murderously at my twin, who was now rubbing his ears as if it hurt like hell.
I rolled my eyes and scoffed at him.
Dramatic fellow.

"Luke what the f**k are you doing here at this unholy hour? And why did you sneak in my room and why were you hovering above me at the first place?" I inquired Luke seriously wanting to know about his unusual visit..
He just huffed and sat beside me while glaring accusingly at me,as if I did something horrible.

"It's our birthday a*****e !!" My eyes widened at his statement and I quickly shut my mouth and frowned, he just sighed and hugged me tightly,I hugged him back.

"Happy Birthday Big bro, this is the only day I address you like this got it." I chuckled softly at Luke's words and nodded my head which was still buried in his neck, I felt him smiling against me.

"Happy Birthday to you too little bro, and I will always call you this don't worry." I said and ruffled his hair playfully,I received a smack on my arm along with a light punch.

"Don't you dare Lucas,i am leaving you today because it's our birthday, tomorrow not really." He warned while gritting his teeth...
He looked adorable.. ofcourse I knew he was anything but adorable,but he was my little brother, he would always be that cute little 5 year old Lukey for me, who would always argue on behalf of myself, because I wouldn't say anything, even if he was the same age as me. Always supporting me and trusting me without a second thought.

"I love you Luke, thank you for always being with me brother." I confessed to Luke emotionally.

He just pounced on me hugging me tightly,

"I love you Lucas, and I am so sorry that I don't spend enough time with you now brother." He confessed and I shook my head at that.
He didn't needed to apologise to me.

"No Luke, you have nothing to apologise about,we both have work, we have so many responsibilities I understand it and I am the same as you in this matter,so no apologising ok." I softly exclaimed to Luke and felt him nod and I simply kissed his forehead.

"Ok Luke I know I said I love you,but now this is too much, get off me right now." I was trying to shove this heavy twin of mine,but still he clung to me as a baby Koala.

"Nope!!! I won't get up you are comfortable." He squeezed me more as if to prove his words. This brat...

"Luke get off me now, other wise I will forget that today is our birthday." Just as I threatened Luke he cursed and got off me as if he just realised that I was some snake he was hugging.
I rolled my eyes at my dramatic brother and he cursed once again.

I raised my brow at him in question.
Why was he cursing though?

"F**k shit!! Lucas come on I forgot about something. " Why was he talking in circles ? I don't understand a thing,I was about to ask him,but he cut me off by dragging me out..

"Why are you dragging me and to where?" I questioned Luke who was now dragging me downstairs.

"Shush!! Don't speak, just follow me." I rolled my eyes,I was doing just that, I just shut my mouth and followed him.

We were now in the dining hall and Luke made me sit on one of the chairs and he strictly warned me to close my eyes till he says. So here I was the Lucas Xavier Knight sitting on the chair with my eyes closed tightly and my legs bouncing in irritation.

Yeah I can't really be patient for my own sake.

I heard footsteps nearing me and I knew it was Luke.

Nah!! It's Tom Cruise, my conscience sarcastically retorted.
I just shook my head at this silly conscience which unfortunately is mine.

"Now open your eyes Lucas. " Luke informed me.

I opened my eyes and saw that there was a cake infront of me on the dining table with a candle on it.
I smiled at that and turned towards Luke and he just beamed at me and ushered me to cut the cake with him.

So we both closed our eyes and made a wish then we blew the candle and cut the cake together, I fed him a piece of cake and he did the same... It's tasty.

"Wow!! Luke were did you bring this cake from? It's delicious. I liked the flavours it's my favorite." I asked him while moaning at the delicious blast of flavours on my taste buds. Yum!!

There was pure silence in the air .....
So I stopped gobbling on the cake and turned around to look at Luke,and I froze at the sight of Luke ..
He looked like he was mentally chopping me . What did I do now?

"What happened? Why the heck are glaring at me?" I questioned Luke,was it because of cake? I mean I ate more than 2 slice of cake and this was my 3rd one but it is mostly my favourite flavours Pineapple and vanilla , he loves Red velvet cake, so that should not be a problem. What exactly is th-

"You f****r how dare you ? You cheat , I hate you ,how could you do this to me?"
I was staring at my twin in bewilderment. What the heck was he saying? If anyone would listen to him now,then they would think that I am in some type of relationship with him and was cheating on him. Which is gross because he is my twin, my brother and I am married.

"You bastard are you even listening to me?" Luke cut me off my thoughts and punched me on my arm, a little too hardly.
I rubbed the spot and glared back at him.

"Luke you better tell me what's your problem right now," I warned my brother who was giving me accusing looks.

"I was the one who made the cake a*****e." He said to me while giving me a stink eye.
Ah!! This makes sense.
Wow!! My mouth fell open now, as I registered his words.
This was the best cake for me so far.

Yeah,yeah as if you eat cake on daily basis.my conscience commented.

Ok!! Maybe that's true.. because I don't really eat cake or any other desserts except ice cream so.....
Anyways Luke's cake is still the best .

I was once again cut off by my thoughts as Luke smacked me on my shoulder.

"Luke stop smacking me." I groaned frustratingly at him.

"You stop zoning out then." He growled at me and once again dragged me to the god knows where.
I don't really like it that he has the same exact strength as of mine.
I groaned and simply followed him.

Now we were sitting on the couch on the terrace of my penthouse,while staring at the starry night sky just like the way we used to do when we were younger.

"Do you remember this Lucas?" I turned towards him and smiled .

"Yes I do, I even remember you wailing on top of your lungs if I ever missed out our daily dose of Star Star. You would look so cute while saying that, all while giggling happily. "
I teased Luke while smirking and in response I received a smack on the back of my head.

"Shut the f**k up!! Lucas . It was when I was five years old." I grinned at him. Yeah that was right it was when we were children.

"Lucas why didn't Mike wish us ?" I frowned at his question, because I was not sure myself. In my 28 years of existence now 29, never once did Eli miss our birthday.
Usually he was the one who would bring cake and he was the one who would make plans for us.
Then just why? Why didn't he come? Why didn't he wish? Did he forget? And what about our family? Dad, Liam , Lia Granny, just why?

"I don't know Luke,I don't know." I muttered in confusion. This was so unlike Eli. He would always be more excited for our birthday than we were,so what exactly happened?

"You know Lucas , tesero,Ana, Edward, Hell even Mahi and Neel forgot our birthday. I seriously can't believe this, and dad, granny,Lia,Liam. No one remembered our birthday except us." I nodded at him somewhere feeling disappointed that no one remembered our birthday,but wait, who is Tesero?

"Luke who is Tesero?" I asked him and he gave me a puzzled look and smiled as if he suddenly seemed to realise what I was asking.

"It's Sanvi, she never actually forgot our birthday, she was also the first one after you and Eli to wish me." I looked at him as if he was speaking gibberish.
What? Sanvi is Tesero and she remembers our birthday?
Why didn't she wished me all these years?

Yeah, you are absolutely right,I mean why the heck would she not wish you? It's not like you were running away from every woman as if she is Medusa, then why didn't she wish? My conscience sarcastically remarked.

Ok!! I get it, no need to be so sarcastic.

"Actually fun fact is that,even if she knew that you would never open her gifts or anyone else's, she still sent you gifts on our birthday with greeting card." I was gaping at his statement .
What??
Sanvi sent me gifts and I didn't even notice.
I think that is the reason why she didn't wish me this year.
Great!!

"Well this year she isn't here ..." I just shrugged off as if it was nothing even though I knew it was definitely not nothing.

"Som-" Luke was cut off by his phone ringing.
He visibly brightened even before looking at the caller ID, and now he deflated faster than a balloon after he took note of the caller ID.

He smiled once again and answered the call.

"Hey Cole , yeah thank you so much. Oh! No problem, yeah ok buddy take care." I tensed after hearing the caller's name. It was COLE, Nathaniel Rossi's best friend. If Luke still spoke to him,does that mean he was still in touch with Nathaniel Rossi?
I didn't know anything,I am confused as hell right now.

"Who was that Luke?" I inquired him, even though I very well knew who it was.

"Oh!! Cole was in our team and also one of our bestfriend from university. He actually said that he couldn't come to meet me this year as he is busy with something. Well I know he is going to come next week as it's Na-- ah! I mean another one of our bestfriend's birthday too. Lucas it's getting late and I am kind of sleepy,so come on let's sleep." He hurriedly walked inside. .. it's Nathaniel's birthday....
So he is still here...
Why are you hiding this from me Luke?
Luke did lie about sleeping,he forgot that he can never lie to me.
What the f**k is happening?

I just shook my head as it started aching because of all this drama..
I got up and went to my room,and when I entered my room I saw Luke sleeping on my bed. I just shook my head with a smile and lied beside him.

I woke up and blinked slowly as lights bind my eyes.
And when I tried to get up I couldn't do so as a strong muscular arm of my twin held me tightly as if he was scared that his favourite pillow would run away.
I sighed and tried to take his arm of me slowly so that I won't disturb his sleep.

After trying for five minutes I groaned..
Enough is enough now.

"Luke get up. Luke, Luke get off me you dolt, " I smacked his arm hardly and he woke up startled.

"What the f**k Lucas? Why are you screaming and hitting me? Is this how people behave like the first thing in the morning? " I just shook my head at him and got out of the bed.

"You were hugging me so tightly Luke, I tried to get up without waking you, but you were clung to me so tightly that if felt like if you loosened up a little I would have ran far away and you weren't having any of it. And did you gain weight or something? You weigh a ton more bro . Now get your a** up and go shower in your room and stop cuddling with the pillow, I am serious Luke,if I come back see that you are still cuddling on my bed ,I will kick your a** ." I warned Luke who seemed to be in his own dream.
I just sighed and entered the cloakroom.

I freshened up and wore a navy blue suit with a black shirt and black loafers.
I wore my Rolex watch and styled my hair and got out of the cloakroom to see Luke still cuddling my pillow.

I am going to kill him tomorrow.
I walked near the bed and sat on it.

"Luke get up, you are going to be late .." I softly said to him while running my hand on his hair.

"No,.. please five more minutes Lucas. I will get ready.. wait, WHAT?" He woke up abruptly and checked me out from head to toe and then he narrowed his eyes at me and crossed his arms.

"What the f**k Lucas? Why are you dressed up ? And where do you think you are going? " I just gave him a droll stare and got up.

"Luke I have work,so I am going to my company." He just rolled his eyes and scowled.

"Lucas I am not some jobless person, even I am a CEO which you seem to forget and I have work too,but that doesn't mean that you are going to work even today... Oh !!come on, it's our birthday today." I just gave him my best deadpanned stare. What exactly does he wants me to do?

"So?" I questioned him while he just facepalmed himself and shook his head as if he couldn't believe that I could ask something like this.

"We are su--" he was cut off by my phone .

I looked at my phone and saw that it was Eli, I smiled widely and eagerly picked up the phone.

"Yes Eli?" I know that I sounded extremely excited.... But f**k it I couldn't control myself.

"Lu--- Lucy... I -- I am b-- being att-- attacked by s-- someone... S-- save me .. Ahhh"

"Eli, Eli what happened. Eli answer me goddammit Eli... "

"Not Eli, your precious bestfriend Eli is now resting, don't worry I won't touch him, atleast not now..... I will leave your bff if and only if you and your twin will follow my orders.. "

"You f--" he cut the call even before I could curse him or inquire about Eli...
Shit!! Shit.! Eli how the f**k did you land yourself in such a situation?

"Hey Lucas,I have been calling you for two minutes now, what happened? Where is Eli?" I groaned in frustration and panic and blurted out everything to Luke,and just as we were about to call the number back, a message popped up.

I wanted to kill that f****r who thought he could harm my best friend.
I was now pacing in my room as Luke went to brush his teeth.

"Come out fast Luke you are not going to marry today, just come out." I growled at him.

"Shut the f**k up Lucas, atleast let me pee. " I just grumbled and sat down.

Shit!! Be safe Eli ... I am coming..
I have already called a hacker's team and asked them to find out about Eli's whereabouts.
But so far they found nothing...
Whoever was sending this message had a great hacker in their side... We couldn't find the location...
Shit!!
And I couldn't involve anyone else....

"Now stop thinking so hard and let's get going." Luke said to me and I hurriedly moved past Luke and we exited my penthouse.

After a two hours of driving we reached the place and saw a big cafe surrounded by trees nothing else..
Where the hell is Eli?

Just then a small boy who I think is around 5 or 6 years came to us with a balloon in his hand. He smiled widely at us and gave the balloon to us before happily skipping into the cafe.

What the???

I saw that there was a letter attached to it.
Luke took out the letter and read it out loud.

Good thing that you listened to me, don't worry your hacker's won't know a thing, now enter the cafe and eat your breakfast,if you won't then neither your bestfriend will, who is starving from yesterday night.

What the f**k?
Eli was starving from yesterday.... My goodness.... Please God, please keep him safe...
I prayed to God and entered the cafe with Luke.

Then we ordered us their breakfast special and hurriedly finished our breakfast.
I hope now atleast Eli will get some food.

Then as we were about to leave, Luke held my wrist.

"Lucas I think that's our next letter." He pointed out in the direction of a flower vase which has a letter beside it.
I hurriedly picked it up and read.

Good, now go to this address.

Before I could even curse,there was another child who came near us with a flower bouquet and handed over to Luke while blushing and giggling.

It had another note.

Go inside the zoo, and don't just roam there, you also have to remember every single details in there.. so now shoo...

And keep all the notes safely with you.... Otherwise Eli would be just like that notes ....

This time I opted to kick my car,as crushing the notes or bouquet was not really an option now..
So we entered the zoo without much option.

After 4 hours, we exited out of the zoo in complete exhaustion and irritation.

By now we were fully aware about the animals in the zoo, their children's,then about our resting time, our lunch break...
God!! This was frustrating the f**k out of me.
What exactly did this kidnapper wanted us to do..

"Lucas what exactly is that kidnapper trying to do?" I was wondering the same thing brother.
I just shook my head in defeat and that's when a little girl tugged at my pants.

"What was the fifth animal you saw?" I looked at her in bewilderment. But still answered as Kangaroo.
She smiled and turned towards Luke and questioned him.

"What was the sixth last animal you saw?" I know that answer but it was Luke's turn so he answered correctly.. it was Giraffe.
The girl squealed and gave us a card and ran off to God knows where...

Wow!! I am seriously impressed by you guys, so lemme reward you both good boys. So you all now can straightforward- -ly go to the second last location that is this.

Another small kid came near us and gave us two tickets and two bracelets for entering the park..
Along with a letter.

I have to say Luke is a good driver and more patient than you, you were behaving as a small toddler who was fussing over the fact that his favourite toy has been snatched away from him..., Don't you dare glare at the note or curse me Lucas...
Anyways, enter the amusement park and have fun, atleast 8 rides ok...

I just sighed and walked along with Luke towards the Entrance and entered ...
We decided that we were going to ride a rollercoaster, Ferris wheel, the scream machine, Dare 2 Drop, haunted house, carousel, twist and finally pendulum ride.
I felt like puking after all of this..
It would have been a great experience if ... Eli wasn't kidnapped....
Because today seemed like a perfect birthday day out....
But we couldn't enjoy that as much as it should have been. Eli matters more than any of this.

"Lucas are you sure that they have kidnapped Eli and not just someone playing a prank on us? Because it kinda looks like a prank to me, I mean remember the events of today correctly, all of this looks like a treasure hunt minus us finding clues ." What Luke was insinuating was making complete sense,but I did listen to Eli's vulnerable voice and that was more than enough for me to believe that Eli was in some kind of danger and I will for damm sure protect him.

"But I did listen to Eli's v--" I was cut off by a teenage girl running in our direction.

"This is for you, happy birthday." This was all she said before handing Luke a letter.
He hastily opened the letter and read it.

Bravo! You both won,so now you are going to complete your last task,so reach MICHAEL'S Vila, in an hour...
That is your last task and you will get your clue of finding your bestfriend.
Bye it was nice making you both go putty in my hands.
Oh Happy Birthday...

We cursed and once again drove to Eli's Vila.... Shit!! Was Eli there? If not then where the f**k are we going to find him?

"Hey!! Lucas calm down don't worry, we will find Eli ok.." Luke assured me and I just nodded at him and rubbed my face.

After an hour we reached Eli's Vila and there was no one outside the gate... I didn't like this.... How come there are no security guards in here,there were atleast two of them ,like always... Then why now? We both hurriedly walked towards the main door and noticed that it was open, so Luke pushed it open and we saw that everything was dark,so we entered inside still being cautious of the kidnapper.,.
"Eli ,, Eli" I called out.
Suddenly we were blinded by lights.

SUPRISE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUKE AND LUCAS.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK?

I seriously believe that my jaw was hanging on the floor right now.... And my eyes would pop out any moment now.
I was baffled would be an understatement.
I turned to Luke and saw him in the same condition as mine.
Eli was standing in the middle with a wide smile adorned on his face, he was beaming like the sun... I can't believe this... Here we were roaming around the city, just for this dolt and he is grinning here like he achieved a gold medal in Olympics.
Great!!

Next to him also standing in the middle was Sanvi...I have no idea what the hell is she doing here? Not like it's a bad thing,but wasn't she out of the country for an important deal?
The whole family was here...
Granny, Dad,Liam,Lia, Mrs Knight, Sanvi's friends ,Edward,Ana and also her cousins ,Mahi, Ace,Neel,Mr and Mrs Martinez.
So ..... Let me get this straight...
This was a suprise party for us....
Like really??

"Uff" I was brought back of from my shock by Eli hugging the hell out of me... And I hugged back tightly,and then I punched him hardly,can you all blame me? This bastard made me search for him the whole city.

"I am so sorry Lucy darling,but I am very touched by the fact that you love me so much. Well don't be all shy now Lucy,and seriously jokes apart, Happy Birthday" he sincerely said Happy Birthday at the end so I hugged him...

After that everyone else hugged me and Sanvi's friends just shook my hands...
Then came my King out of nowhere and I hugged him gently.
Last was Sanvi ...
She smiled and hugged me....
What??
She... Ah??

Hug her back goddammit.my conscience shouted at me and I did just that...
But luck wasn't on my side,just as I placed my hands on her back to hug her back... She parted from the hug and went to greet Luke,who just sweeped her of the floor.

See your brother is much more better than you.... He is hugging her for dear life as if she was the one who was kidnapped.
My conscience growled at me.
Why the f**k are they still hugging??

"Well Lucas this was all Sanvi's idea," I narrowed my eyes at that...
Really??

"Lucas I was the one who wanted to throw a suprise party for you both,but the weird plan of making you both roam around the city was My friends idea and getting kidnapped was completely and solely Mickey's idea." She said why glaring at Eli...
I just sighed as they both started bickering and I held Sanvi's wrist gently and tugged her behind me.

"Calm down both of you..." I said to both Eli and Sanvi and they both shut their mouth,but still continued to glare at each other accusingly.
I just shook my head at their behaviour and thank god Mahi remainded them that it was time for cutting the cake and that was when I saw that someone had brought the cake in the middle.

It looked like a wedding cake ....
Why do we need a three tier cake ??

Lucas you are rich!!! You come under the top 10 richest man in the world..my conscience commented in disbelief.

So what??
Who knows, then we cut the cake together and we both fed ourselves first then I fed Eli,dad,Lia,Liam and Sanvi..
I loved the fact that it was just family and friends and not the whole lot of egoistic and arrogant CEO'S and their families ...
Overall today was fun and crazy..

I saw Sanvi coming towards me,so I covered the distance between us and hugged her and thanked her.
She was still for a second then she hugged me back...
Wow!  She is soft!!!

Ahum!! Yeah ok..
I parted from the hug and smiled at her, which she returned and excused herself.

Somewhere in the middle of the party I got a call and I excused myself from Mr Martinez and Ace ...

I cut the call and was about to return back when I heard Sanvi's voice..
It felt like she was speaking to someone on the call.

You know I would never miss it neither forget it ... what is she talking about??

How can you even assume that Cole? What??

Out of all the people I thought that you would understand me more...
I know,I know that I am married..
And you along with all the others know why did I marry Lucas...
You all know who approved of him...
If not for him,then you know that I would never marry anyone,not after --

We will talk later .... Ok, it's Luke's and Lucas's Birthday...
Hmm,bye. I didn't know what to actually make out about the conversation I heard now...
I knew that I was not ready to marry Sanvi then,why the f**k does it hurts to listen to her say the same thing...

I just shook my head and took a last glance at Sanvi and returned back to party.. all happiness leaving my body...

SANVI'S POV

I don't know what happened to lucas..
He is behaving weirdly after the party..
He is just nodding at my questions and seemed to be depressed about something.
When I asked him about that,he just dismissed me by saying that it was something work related...

But I know that was not it...

What happened to you Lucas??
