"WHAT THE F**K DID YOU DO TO MY SON'S EYE ? WHY THE F**K IS IT RED? BLOODY F*****G WHY?ANSWER ME DAMMIT. " I woke up startled by someone screaming on top of their lungs.

What the heck?
Can't I wake up without any dramas for once in my life?
But who is yelling like some devil possessed them at this unholy hour?

Well,well that is not someone ,that voice belongs to none other than my devil of a husband . But who summoned the devil now?
I feel really bad for that poor human, who is on the receiving end, let's hope he will survive from my dear Husband's wrath.
I shook my head and entered the washroom.

I emptied my bladder, brushed my teeth and finally entered the shower.
I sighed in relief when warm water started flowing through my body..
It feels so good,I could feel all the tension leaving me. I washed my hair and body. And when I was finally done showering,I dried myself and exited the shower, I towel dried my hair a bit ,then I hair dried it and quickly entangled all the knots from my hair and chose to wear a A grey chunky cable-knit pullover sweater, with a pair of black leggings.
I tied my hair in a messy ponytail,
applied some cherry lip balm and I exited the washroom and checked my phone.

I sighed looking at the long list of my pending works . Shit!! I have too much to complete..looks like I have to work my a** off to complete all of this,once my leave is over, that means less hours of sleep ... I sighed heavily, So much for my non-existent honeymoon.

I called my bhai and he picked it after a few rings.

Hey Princess ! How are you doing? Did you have your breakfast ? What did you have? And how is Lucas behaviour towards you? Is he treating you good?

Jay bhai, breath,calm down for a moment
I gently calmed him down,while shaking my head in amusement.

And for your questions ,yes I am fine bhai, just having some period cramps, and nope, I didn't have breakfast yet ,so no for your other question too,and bhai don't you get tired by asking the same question again and again? And don't worry bhai I know how to handle him,if he ever treats me in a trashy way and without respect I am going to kick him first, before you all take any actions. Well, Lucas is good ,I mean , while having a conversation I kinda slipped out the fact that I was on my periods and he literally sent me chamomile tea, dark chocolate, heating pads and icecream. It was really sweet of him. So yeah he is treating me good. I ranted ... Like literally ranted about Lucas to bhai..

I guess I needed to rant about this to someone..
Hmm, although I already did mention it to Prachi, Shanaya and Neel too.
Anyways.

Hmm, that's good for him. But have your breakfast ,it's already 8:30 there I guess.dont skip that, It's not good to stay without food, especially during your periods, you always have a terrible stomachache, and if gastric adds to it, it's going to be horrible . So have your breakfast now,we can talk later.. hmm.
Ofcourse I am the doctor,I know that,but no, my family always tend to dismiss the fact that I am doctor,as if it was some miniscule detail which didn't need any special attention.
I rolled my eyes and answered him a yes.
And he cut the call after he rushed out a bye , without even letting me answer .

Great, I scowled at my bhai and moved out of my room with my phone to have breakfast.

As I ascended the stairs I noticed Lucas sitting on the couch in the living room his head hung down, while he was massaging his head.

That my dear husband is the effect of yelling on top of your lungs.

I stood infront of Lucas and patted his shoulder,he jumped back in shock,and stood up hastily.

Now my dear husband stood like a pole without even blinking his eyes,I doubt if he was even breathing.
I raised a brow in question at him.

All of a sudden ,as if he came out of his shock .he backed up a bit and his face turned stoic,not giving away anything

"Sanvi!" That was my dear Husband's greeting, isn't he the sweetest.
I love you sarcasm.

"Lucas!" I greeted back with a sarcastic smile.

He nodded and turned towards the other side,I scoffed at his behaviour and turned around to go to the kitchen.
Even before I could move a step Lucas called me.

"Sanvi,wait!" I turned towards him and raised a brow at him.
But my dear husband just continued to stare at me ,

Now I am starting to think that I have miraculously gained the ability to turn invisible as my husband is still staring at me as if I am not even here.
I snapped my fingers at him, and he flinched ;just slightly though.

"Ah__ yeah, I didn't mean to s- stare at you, sorry. Actually I" my,my what's happening here? The Lucas Xavier Knight is shuttering?
He looked hesitant to ask me something.

"What did you wanted to ask me Lucas? Listen, Lucas I am not going to kill you if you ask me something,you know that right? Because that's the truth." I explained him,as he seemed to be quite uncertain, about asking me whatever it was.
I just threatened him about cheating and disrespectful behaviour,he shouldn't be scared to voice out his thoughts to me.

He just nodded at me with his famous void look and I was still staring at him expectantly.

"I just wanted to know about your health" he told me and i smiled at him and informed him that now i am fine.

He nodded and was about to go to his room,I stopped him by calling him this time.

He turned towards me and stared at me,

"Do you have a headache?" I inquired him and he sighed in exasperation and nodded.

"Wait here," I said to him and hurriedly walked to my room,took out my medics box and there I had some pills,which would be good for him.

I stopped infront of him and handed him the medicine,

"Did you have your breakfast?" I questioned him and he said no.

"Ok,then don't have these pills now, first eat your breakfast,wait.. you rest in your room,I will bring the food there, and then you can take the pills and just rest."I told him nodding to myself.

He looked at me as if I was speaking in some other language.

"Sanvi, it's just headache,so I will just eat the breakfast and take the pill ,then I will leave to my company. I have work." I glared at him with my hands crossed over my chest.
Was this person kidding me?
I have work , I mocked him in my mind, he is behaving as if I am just chilling out here,I have to look at my company, write my books and even treat my patients.
I scoffed internally ofcourse.

He eyed me weirdly as if he didn't know,why I was stopping him, I rolled my
eyes at my Devil husband

"Yes Lucas,I know you have work,I do too, and I wouldn't stop you if you just had headache,you look pale and I think you are going to have fever. So it's better to just rest . " I informed him.

He was still in confusion .

He was about to open his mouth to argue.
I simply intensified my glare and gave him a look , that said, don't-you-dare-open-your mouth.
He shut his mouth tightly and narrowed his eyes at me.

"Listen Lucas, it's for your own good, at first I ordered you as your wife,now I am suggesting you as a doctor. It's better to take rest for a day than a week . And I am not asking you to retire from your post. You just have to take a day off, that's it. " I advised him as a doctor.

He just stared at me stupified as if I suddenly turned into a snake and was hissing at him,and not really speaking.

After a minute of our staring competition, Lucas sighed helplessly as he took a note on my stubborn look and very reluctantly nodded his head and informed me that he is going to his room.

I smiled happily at my victory. As I glanced at Lucas he had a small smile on his face while he climbed the stairs..
I shook my head and entered the kitchen, only to have my jaw hanging out with my eyes wide due to shock.

What the actual heck happened here?
It looks like there was a earthquake,which took place specifically here in the kitchen.
The flour was all over the kitchen,and the
electric stove was messy, and had a pan in which something was completely burnt and it was beyond recognition,their was something..wait... It is the chocolate sauce ..... But what is it doing inside the juicer ? Which by the way is in the ground.
The Refrigerator which was shining just yesterday night,now looked like a ancient one.
The counters , everything....
Some of the plates were broken, well..
Overall a huge destruction has happened here?
Is this Lucas's doing?

Ughhh
I am going to kill him?
What on earth was he doing in the kitchen?
Why would he make such a mess?
It was spotless and shining yesterday,and now all of a sudden it looks like thisss??

I was about to walk out from here to ask my dear husband, what the hell did he do to such a beauty?

Before I could step out of the kitchen, I heard a sniffles. Where did that come from now?
I listened carefully without making any sound, and I once again heard sniffles .
Ok!! .

Wait... It was coming from the kitchen counter.
I silently walked near the counter and I saw someone sitting on the floor with their knees drawn towards that person chest,and his face was casted down,he was sniffing loudly now.

Oh!! So he is the one who created the havoc . I was about to scold Lucas now..
I shook my head and silently made my way towards the crying boy and placed a hand on his shoulder,and he screamed bloody murder and flinched away from my touch.

I held my hands up in surrender,to make him feel that I was not a threat, he finally sobered up and hastily stood up and hung his head down in embarrassment.

"Hey! What happened? Who are you? And what are you doing here?" I questioned him to which he murmured something, which couldn't be heard by my human ear.

I softly asked him to repeat his words, but a little louder this time.

So he took a deep breath, and started to speak a little louder than before,but thank goodness I could catch up on it,this time.

"M-- my na-- name is He-- Henley, I am fro-- from the Pe -- Pet's he-- health care an-- and spa. I .. I am a new-- helper, I wa-- was assigned b-- by Mr Knight to ta-- take care of h--his do-- ahh !! Son. I to-- took ex-- extra care of him, But I re-- really don't know how h- he got th-- the red-- redness in his ey-- eyes. So Mr Kn-- Knight as a puni-- punishment ordered me t-- to co-- cook bre-- breakfast for y-- you all, he mad-- made a list ." This boy shuttered out,still not looking at me, I could see his palms sweating profusely and his hands shaking too.

Oh god!! Henley was shaken up pretty badly,now I am wondering,Lucas literally scared the shit out of this boy,.

I said him to calm down and cautiously moved towards him and made him sit on the only stool which has protected itself from all these disasters , That was when I noticed a paper on the counter...
Oh!! this is the list ..
I took out the paper from a pile of flour on the counter,and dusted it a bit ..
When I stared at the list..
My mouth hung open,like it wasn't ready to shut at all.

This food is enough to feed us both for atleast 2 to 3 days.
The list consists of
Strawberry creeps
Banana Pancakes
Chocolate waffles
Vegetable salad
Fruit salad
Omelette with cheese.
Sandwich veg
Sandwich non veg
Idli
Dosa
Custard
Cinnamon toast
Scrambled eggs
Grilled tomatoes and mushrooms.
Sausages
Fried eggs
Baked Beans
Avocado toast.
Strawberry and cream
Pudding
Green Tea
Orange juice
Lime juice
Black coffee
And lastly Ginger tea.

Wow !!! I feel like I am reading a cafe's menu or something like that..

And who is going to eat all these things?
Cause, okay I may eat a little of everything,.. this so yummy.

Snap out of it Sanvi,there is nothing out here except for burnt and raw materials.

Ok!!
I called Devin and informed him to send one of the housekeeper to come and clean the kitchen ,as I would have done it myself,if my stomach wasn't trying to kill me now. And I also informed him to order some breakfast for us.
And yes I used Lucas special menu.
I snorted at that and asked Henley to accompany me,and like a lost puppy he trailed behind me, curiously staring at the interiors..
I smirked at his amused expression,he was trembling in fear just a second before,and now he is looking at everything with wide eyes, which were shining.

I halted my steps and he collided on my back,and quickly backed away muttering apologies,I just brushed him off.

"This is washroom,go wash yourself, you have got a little flour on you." He smiled sheepishly at me and nodded.

I waited nearby,so that he wouldn't come across my Devil husband.
Henley will surely piss in his pants,if he receive another round of wrath from my husband.
I sighed in frustration.
What am I going to do with you my dear husband?

Nothing, just feed him my conscience blurted out.

Great!!

By the way, what on earth is Henley still doing inside the washroom?
Maybe he was distracted by the interiors again,.
I rolled my eyes at that thought,cause it might be the actual truth.

I was pacing near the spare washroom, waiting for Henley to grace me with his presence,when I caught the sight of Macy the housemaid making her way to the kitchen.

I just hope she won't faint by the sight of the Kitchen.
Then Devin entered while carrying two bags.. ok food!!
I called out for Devin,and asked him to place the food on the dining table.
And warned him not to even glance at the kitchen.
I didn't need the usually expression less, Bodyguard of Lucas to be horrified by the scenario.

He walked straight towards my direction and halted when he was at a good 3 feet distance infront of me and bowed a little.

"Good morning Mrs Knight" he wished me with a stoic face.

"Good morning Devin, did you have your breakfast?" I greeted him back as well as inquired him.

"Yes Mrs Knight,I did . " He answered in his usual deep voice.

I nodded at him and he informed me that he was going to go now, and the same old, I will be here whenever you need me Mrs Knight.

So I waved my hand at him.
In a bye,and I think there was slight curl on his lips,just for a mere second.
Ohh! So he smiled.
Hmm, good let's make the boss and bodyguard smile.

And atlast after spending a year in the washroom, Henley decided to grace me with his presence.

He looked calmer now,so atleast that is better,I guess.

I ushered him to follow me, and he did like a curious puppy,our feet stopped padding across the floor, as we reached the dining hall,I said him to take a seat and I called out Macy to bring 3 plates ,3 forks,3 butter knifes,and 3 spoons,that was all.
She placed them on the table and I thanked her, while she smiled at me.

I placed one of the plate infront of Henley, along with a knife,spoon and a fork.
I served him strawberry creeps, Avocado toast,some fruit salad and Orange juice.

He was drooling I could tell,but he looked at me as if asking permission to eat,so I just nodded at him in affirmation. He dug in immediately.

I made a plate for Lucas , which consisted of Cinnamon toast, scrambled eggs,baked beans and Lime juice.
Lime juice will help to reduce his headache.

I took that upstairs,to his room,I knocked on his door and he said to come in, I noticed that he was wearing a black t-shirt and a black track pants.
Ok men in black.

He was sitting on the couch, while busy chatting with someone on his phone,I showed him the plate and he said his bye's
I caught on the name Eli,hmm wait that means he was speaking to Michael,
I chuckled softly at the bff duo and shook my head in negative,as Lucas raised a brow at my out of the blue chuckling.

I placed the plate on the table infront of him and asked him to have it, he thanked me and I was about to go,when he commented to himself on Henley's food.

I halted in my steps and turned around and said to Lucas.

"Don't you ever send someone inside the kitchen,unless you are 100% sure that they know to cook,or you have tasted their food." I basically ordered him.

"Why? What happened?" He asked me   still confused as to what I was saying,

"The guy who you sent to cook as a punishment, but you indirectly punished Macy, Devin,and myself, as I don't think he had ever entered the kitchen in his whole life,unless it was to eat. Now the stainless kitchen looks like it has been a battlefield for some food fight.The food was ordered by me and Devin brought it, and Macy is still clearing all those mess. "  I shuddered while remembering the havoc in there . Lucas's jaw clenched and his hold on the spoon visibly tightened, I was scared if he would bend it.

"Lucas listen,his job wasn't that of a cook, so we can't really blame him. Ok I have handled the situation,but don't threaten him more,if you don't want Henley to literally have a panic attack.
Ok " I softly explained it to him and he sighed in defeat and nodded at me.

I smiled at him and exited his room and came downstairs to enjoy my Chocolate waffles, strawberry and cream, pudding and Green tea.
I happily munched  on my food.

LUCAS'S POV
  

(After Sanvi ordered him to take a day off)

I shook my head at Sanvi's order,and I could feel my lips curl into a small smile just for a moment though,as I composed myself.

I was about to enter my own room,but suddenly I stopped in my tracks and entered my son's room.

He was playing with the ball, hmmm
Upon sensing my arrival,he wagged his tail in excitement and ran towards me, I hugged him tightly, and when we parted,I examined his eyes, my poor King, it has never happened before, he never had an allergic reactions..

Wait ,Sanvi is a doctor right?
So she could just prescribe something for these stupid rashes..
Hmm

Are you really that dumb or you just pretend to be? Lucas, Sanvi is not a Vet, she is a Psychiatrist. She takes care of mental related issues,and the Veteran did check him just an hour ago,;didn't he? He said that our son is going to be all well in a day or two. Relax, and don't mess up the situation with Sanvi, she was all smiles just now. It's good to see her like that ..... She looks beau-- I cut my conscience,by shaking my head..

What the f**k ?
Just shut the f**k up!!

I need rest, yes I concluded, as  it looks like my headache is distracting my thoughts.

I made sure for the last time that my King is well and good,and I also informed him that today,Devin is going to take him on a walk not me as I have a headache,so my good boy started to lick my face..
And he was sad I could tell,so I caressed his head and kissed it,and assured him that I am going to be alright,after I take some rest.

I smiled at my son and exited his room and entered my room and hurriedly walked into the cloakroom,I freshened up and changed into some casual clothes.

This headache didn't lessen even a bit,if anything it has worsen..

Sanvi was right, taking a day off to rest was a way better idea than growling in annoyance at my already scared employees.

I noticed the pills that Sanvi gave me.
I couldn't hold back my smile while reckoning how Sanvi was ordering about my health and how she basically talked me into taking a day off.
She cares about me.

No shit Sherlock! You are her only husband,she wouldn't want you to die, as she wants to do it herself,if you commit any mistake, which Sanvi hates.my conscience mocked. I am pretty much confused, does my conscience likes Sanvi or not?
Whatever,

I called Joel and informed him to reschedule all the meetings which were going to be held today,as I was taking a day off.

He shuttered out an yes,in the middle of a hundred sorry's and he very hesitantly asked me if I was fine or not.

So I did answer him that I have headache and he said me to take rest and I hummed at that and ended the call.

I opened my laptop and mailed some of the important works to Joel,so he goes through it once,and I am sure,he will remember all of that.

I closed my laptop and sighed in frustration,this all because of that Hen.. 
What was his name anyway? Henry, no... Well who cares about what that Hen's name is, he i--

My thoughts were cut short by phone ringing and I looked at the caller ID and rolled my eyes.

Ofcourse.

I answered the call and before I could even say a word,Eli started accusing me.
Great!! This exactly was what I needed for my already throbbing head.

That's it Lucy ;I can't handle this anymore, I am breaking up with you Lucy. What the bloody hell?  Did this b*****d drink so early?

I asked my so called best friend,who was behaving as if we were in some toxic relationship and i was cheating on him, and now he was fed up with all of this and was breaking up with me.
I rolled my eyes and massaged my temples.

Shit !! my best friend is the one who is worsening my headache and here Sanvi was trying to get me to rest and stay at home, little did she know that my personal headache has a way to grace me with his presence. I scowled at this.

Lucy are you even listening to me? Great just great, now you are ignoring me too, wow!! The audacity you have? Oh God! This was the only thing left... What has the wor-- I cut Eli's dramatic lines by growling in annoyance.

Just what the f**k happened now ? I questioned him irritated and exhausted as hell.

I have to ask you this, you b***h , why didn't you inform me that you were taking a day off,I would have came to chill with you. I sighed in exasperation. Right chilling, I can't really speak without my head killing me,and he wants to chill.

Lucy are you fine ? Are you in pain ? What happened? I think my best friend sensed that something was wrong now.

My head is throbbing like hell, I am seriously considering to bang my head somewhere, that is the reason why I took a day off,or more like Sanvi ordered me too. I explained to Eli, but Eli was still not satisfied with my answer and proceeded to ask me how did I got the headache and I informed about that hen , as my lips curled in distaste while thinking about that Hen.

What the f**k did he do too my poor Gattino.  I scowled at this.

He is not a cat Eli..

Oh I know that, but do you need me to come to your penthouse? Wait,I am coming in an hour,I have something to do.
I shook my head while smiling and nodded
Wait he can't see me.
So I said ok.

He is such a mother hen sometimes.

By the way, are you blushing Lucas?
Now I was confused, why would I blush?

I asked him the same

Oh !! You are not, I thought that as your wife ordered you,and just by that anyone can conclude that she is concerned about you. And knowing your innocent self,I thought you might be blushing..

I was about to yell at him,when he ended the call by rushing out a bye and take care.

But suddenly he called me back to inform something important and just then someone knocked on my door,I asked Sanvi to come in as I knew she was going to bring me breakfast as she said.

I cut the call and saw the food .

I looked at the food infront of me and commented to myself that Hen was atleast a good cook.

But Sanvi warned me to never send someone inside the kitchen to cook,if I didn't know that the person could cook or not, why was she saying that?
I was quite confused but then she explained me how that piece of shit destroyed my whole kitchen.

Bloody hell!!
Shit! I indirectly caused myself a bigger problem didn't I?
I was so angry that I wanted just lash it out at that Henley..

But Sanvi softly asked me not to and somehow I refrained myself from going downstairs and literally banging the Henley's head somewhere.

I ate my breakfast and took the pills and laid on my head.
And slowly I fell into deep slumber.

SANVI'S POV

         
              (IN THE EVENING)

Henley left shortly after the breakfast, while apologising for the mess he created, as he said that he never cooked in his life,
I actually burst out laughing at that.

Now my dear husband is spending some quality time with his bff.
And I was watching a Korean drama,it was quite interesting and I was so immersed in it that I didn't notice someone entering the living area..

And when I saw a hair leg..
I looked at my side to see a Husky glaring at me ..

Oh!! This is King
My husband's son
So am I his step mom??.... Uh!! No.
Wait !! He is Lucas's Adopted son so ..
Ok

By the looks of it my new son isn't quite fond of me,well same son same.
I don't hate dogs, but I am not fond of them either.
That's the reason I never had a pet except fishes..
They are the best .

I tried to smile at the glaring husky, but he literally brushed me off ..
What the actual hell?
I just ignored his actions,as I thought he might just be still trying to adjust to the new person's arrival in his father's home.

That may be the reason for his hostile behaviour.

This dog is literally harassing me.
He is not even letting me to watch the TV patiently,. He is purposely walking infront of the Tv or me. He is literally throwing all the cushions on the floor or on me ..

I stood up and glared at the dog infront of me.
And I yelled out Lucas's name.

Lucas and Michael hastily entered the living room and stared at the messy living room infront of them, they seemed to be rooted in their places.

I glared at the brat and then at his Dad and bff.

"Your son is a brat!!" I yelled at Lucas and pure silence was what we were surrounded by now.

Michael had his jaw hanging out with eyes wide and he slowly glanced at Lucas.

Who was too calm, and this time I didn't know that this calm was just before a Strom.

"WHAT THE F**K DID YOU SAY? " Lucas   growled angrily, his voice sounded dangerous...
Ok !!

I was about to open my mouth,but Michael subtly actioned me not too,so I shut my mouth.

"MY SON IS THE MOST WELL MANNERED. HE IS NOT A BRAT, AND JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE MY WIFE,I AM LEAVING YOU,BUT DON'T INSULT MY SON AGAIN. "I looked at him in shock.

What the hell?
Well mannered, my foot.

I glared at him and finally took a deep breath and informed him as calmly as I could about his well mannered son's actions.

He was shocked at first then he calmly kneeled infront of his son and started to explain his spoilt brat that he should respect me,as I am his wife and also that he has compromise, blah blah blah blah.
I internally rolled my eyes at the dramatic scene,but it was still cute ..

And he raised a brow at me.
So I said that I will behave in a civil way, but if his son does something,then I am not sure about that.
He nodded.

As everything sorted out, Michael,Lucas and King went upstairs,I continued watching the K drama.
