I was tossing and turning on my bed,but I couldn't sleep, shit this stomachache,I finally got up clearly fed up of this already..
But why the heck is it paining so much..
I drank some water from my water bottle and once again plopped on the bed.

Suddenly I remembered the events that happened , I laughed ...oww!!
Ok ok,no laughing...

I shook my head at that...

( In the evening. )

Lucas stood in front of me and I glared at him with my hands crossed over my chest.

"Listen carefully Mr Lucas Knight,I am going to say it just once that's it, We are married and nothing can change that. And you (I pointed my finger at him) you have absolutely no right to behave like the way you did. You are not some teenage boy, who is whining and throwing a fit because,this wasn't what he wanted. You are a bloody matured person,who is in his late twenties, oh!! for god sake you are older than me and still you are the one who is whining,and let me get this straight to your oh-so-smart-brain, no one and I mean no bloody one kidnapped you and held a gun on your head while performing the rituals, you did it with your own wish, and you were completely conscious while marrying me,and for god's sake stop behaving like you have been forced into it or someone snatched your rights and freedom. It's should be me who has to complain and throw a fit,as I don't remember you sleeping in the couch, neither did you leave your home,nor did you get the bloody smallest room and it was definitely not me who is ignoring you, and neither did I behave arrogantly towards you... So stop this nonsense and behave like the mature person you are supposed to be." I yelled at him,well can you judge me about this,I was freaking frustrated to no end by my dear husband's behavior which irked me .
I was surprised, would be an understatement,as Lucas stood their baffled with his mouth slightly opened and his eyes were wide open.

I never saw him like this,ok this is a first.

Hmmm,

Well I continued my speech for him.

"And one more thing,from now onwards, you are not going to ignore me or whatever weird ideas of not showing any emotions infront of me,which you might have planned are going to trash as now , like any other civil person you are going to acknowledge me whenever you see me and if you are going to have breakfast,then you are going to have it with me;if I am present ofcourse. Then I am going to message you in the afternoon to inquire,if you had lunch or not? And you like a good husband are going to reply a yes or no. Then again same thing in the evening,I am going to message you asking if you had tea or coffee,and you are going to repeat the same procedure of yes or no. Lastly you are going to inform me about your arrival,I don't care how you tell me, whether by calling or by a message. So that I can think about waiting for you to dinner." I emphasised each words correctly so that it can never be forgotten by my oh-so-dear-husband.

I asked his number and he frowned as if he was shocked that I was asking for his number.

"Luke has my number"he said looking clueless, really?? Is he the real Lucas Knight?? Or an imposter??

"I am sure that he has, but he is not my husband, you are so I am asking you to give your number." His eyes widened at my statement and he forwarded his phone..
Oh goodness!! For crying out loud, what on earth is this person doing? Did I broke him or something?

"Lucas,I am extremely happy that you trusted me with your phone,but I am a Psychiatrist not a hacker." I commented.
But my dear husband just stared me in confusion...

Oh good God!!

"Password?"realisation dawned upon him and he hastily snatched his phone,and opened the lock which was his fingerprint and something else ...

I saved my number as Sweet Sanvi (wife)💞

And dialled it so that I can save it later...
I took a note on the time, what? I am a busy person,I get lots of calls.

Once Lucas noticed the name,he stared at in complete bewilderment.

"Don't you dare change that name Lucas, you don't want to know the consequences if you do." I threatened him,he swiftly shut his mouth.
Good boy!!

"And yes I know that you are not particularly fond of female population,but still I am warning you , don't you dare think about cheating on me,I wouldn't too. But if I get a single hint that you have been seeing someone behind my back, whether it's a girl,boy or anyone else,I am not going to curse them or anything,I am going to torture you,then I am going to slowly and painfully kill you,and dump your body in your own garden, and don't worry,if your bff is involved in this whole fiasco,then he is also going to get the same fate as yours, and about your family and everyone else,I am going to create a sob story for myself,as how you betrayed me,well that would be the truth then, also how you ran away with your so called bff/ bf Eli. If anyone in our families did find out about me,I think they aren't going to charge sheet on me,as I am their lovely daughter too. If you are taking this a joke, then don't because I have the capacity to do it. So beware,and I hope that you have clearly listened and understood my words,and i sincerely hope for your welfare that you do follow this.

I causally warned him, that's it, I wasn't really going to murder him....
But he didn't need to know about that.
Let him live with that fear,cause he played with a wrong person, I know how to handle him.

Lucas looked freaking terrified by my words and when I informed him about dinner he went to his room to freshen up,not before informing me... See great changes...

I wanted to laugh like a maniac,but stupid stomach ache,so I started to heat the dinner,which Aunt Sara has prepared.

Lucas entered the dinning hall by the time the food was ready and he graced me with a nearly non-existent smile...
I matched it with a sarcastic smile.

He helped me set the table and we ate in complete silence.

He was about to go when I called him,he turned around looking a little spectacle.

"I still won't accept your proposal,if you are so desperate to work with me,then earn it. And about the business deal,. If Mr Anderson likes your proposal then he would surely inform me, good night." I exclaimed. He nodded in understanding and wished me back...

Hmmm, this is good.

(Back to the present)

I can't sleep , oh god!!
I got out of the bed and took a tablet.
As I was sure that I couldn't sleep just yet, I thought of eating something and so I did ,i saw a tub of Ben and Jerry's vanilla ice cream. And as I raided the fridge, one thing was sure that Lucas loves icecream, especially Vanilla and Pista.
There are 6 tubs of icecream,3 pista and 3 vanilla.

I made a mental note on visiting a nearby grocery store after my periods to add some chocolatey goodness in here....
I love Chocolate, everything in chocolate is fine by me..

I sat in the living room and turned on the TV and started watching Doctor Strange.
In the middle of the movie,I started yawning and that was my cue to sleep,and I noticed that I have finished half of the icecream. So I placed the tub in the fridge and slept on the couch as i was too tired and lazy to walk back to my room.

LUCAS'S POV

I couldn't sleep and I knew the reason for that, it is because of my wife.

F**k !!

She just made me go speechless, heck! I never knew she was going to threaten me.

And why the f**k would I cheat on her?
I wasn't ready to marry in the first place.

Lucy,you didn't listen carefully,did you? She didn't just warn you about Females, she included all genders.my conscience smugly informed me..

Wow !! You fool she threatened both of us.. we are the same.

Oh shit!!!! My conscience cursed out.

I wanted to smirk,but no I can't,if I do then I will definitely loose my sanity.

As I remembered a particular thing she said...
Oh god!!

Lucas,stop blushing please,it's not like you are hearing about mensuration for the first time... My conscience pleaded.

But neither Lia (His Sister. Rose) nor Granny ever spoke about that to me...
And that too without any hesitation..

Lucas,she is a doctor if you forgot about that whole incident already,but seriously don't do the same mistake,I don't think so you are quite ready to listen to another death threat,. Maybe this time it will be detailed...my conscience warned me.

Ok!!! I shuddered at her threat,and she was so confident about all things she said.
But I don't know why,I felt like I saw a glint of sorrow in her eyes and that somewhat assured me about my safety..

Ohhhhhh!!! Is little Lucy scared of his wife? That annoying voice mocked..

Does my conscience consider itself as some different person or something like that..
As it has completely forgot about the main fact that we are same,so if I am scared then it is too,if someone is insulting me then it is directed towards my conscience too.
Stupid !!

And I am not f*****g scared of Sanvi,I was just astonished that's all.

After what felt like a whole day,I fell into deep slumber..

I woke up before the alarm as always..
I entered the cloakroom, freshened up and did my business...
I exited the cloakroom fully dressed in a Navy Blue suit with black loafers and my Patek Phillippe recent addition watch, I love them...

When I entered the living room,I was greeted by the sight of Sanvi sleeping on the couch, while tightly clutching her stomach....

It must be paining her...
I walked near her,I am seriously unable to understand ,what exactly is that force that seems to always pull me towards her.

I saw her slightly shivering,oh yeah!! The AC and she was sleeping without a blanket...
But why was she sleeping here in the first place??

Should I just carry her to her room?

Oh yeah!! And when she wakes up,she is going to claw your face first, I wouldn't mind you spoiling your face but we are same,so I won't permit and by the way from when did you started carrying women?? My stupid conscience questioned.

F**k if I knew why??

It is also rude to carry someone without their permission.

You dolt!! She is your wife,but she's too violent so.... Why not bring a blanket and place it on her,see the easy and non- dangerous way.. my conscience said happily...

So I went inside my room and took out my pillow and blanket..
Why did I do that? I don't f*****g know..
I slightly held Sanvi's head up and I carefully slid the pillow under her head and after she was completely settled I placed the blanket on her,and just as I did she nestled into it,and slowly a smile took over her lips...
She was still sleeping.
Thank Goodness...

I decided against waking her up and ate my breakfast which I assume was from a cafe.
As Aunt Sara isn't coming early today..
I finished my breakfast and glanced at Sanvi for a moment and exited my penthouse and as i was in my private elevator, I thought about how Sanvi is pain...

What do they do to subside the pain when in periods..

So I did Google the remedies for periods ache and I read that Chamomile tea, dark chocolate, heating pads are good.

So I called Devin my bodyguard and asked to arrange these things and send it to my penthouse.

I sat in my Aston Martin, as today I wasn't in the mood of driving,my driver drove me to my office.

I hope Sanvi feels better.

SANVI'S POV

I woke feeling something extremely warm on me,so i snuggled more into it,I wanted to stay here forever,but my bladder wasn't having it at all,so I sleepily opened my eyes and came face to face with a comforter, ..wait i didn't bring this with me,when I came here yesterday or today. It was past 12 rights?? Anyway,how did a pillow and a comforter come here, as far as I remember,I never had summation powers....
Then how?
Let's play detective later on , first I gotta pee.
So that's what I did,I went to my washroom,emptied my bladder and had a nice shower, brushed my teeth and came out while wearing a oversized hoodie and some shorts....
I tied my hairs in a messy bun.

As I entered the living room,I saw someone familiar yet unfamiliar person,or more specifically a bodyguard...

He bowed at me ...
Ok !!!
I was about to say him not to
But before I could even start he spoke in a monotone.

"Mrs Knight, I have brought you Chamomile tea, dark chocolate, heating pads and some breakfast as Aunt Sara isn't well and she will not come for another few days. I hope you have a great day Mrs Knight, and if you need anything, just call me I have written my number in this note.. Have a good day Mrs Knight." He said this whole thing in a single breath and bowed once again and like left,like seriously left.

And now i know whose bodyguard is he.
My dear husband.

So,I guess I know who placed the pillow and comforter on me.
Hmmm, .... Cute.
I shook my head at that, while smiling.

I examined the bags which Mr Bodyguard had placed on the dining table.

It had almost 5 packets of Chamomile tea,my god 10 dark chocolates,two was enough ..not that I am  complaining, more the merrier,then 5 tubs of 5 different flavour icecream, like Strawberry, Butterscotch,Mango, Blackcurrant and finally Chocolate.
Hmmm, yumm!!!
Two heating pads,uh!! why do i need 2 heating pads,when I have one already...
But the thought is which that matters.

So Lucas Knight has a sweet and humble side hidden inside him.I knew it...
I saw the breakfast takeout and it had ..
Wait wait what the hell is this?
It had fruit salad, Vegetable salad and different sprouts salad sort of thing, what on earth is this thing called actually?
And an orange juice...
Wow!!!
I think my breakfast got exchanged with Lucas...
I know i said him that I am on my periods.
But this is ....
What is this?
I am on periods not on a healthy diet for some disease..

Lucas's way of helping me is sweet and all till the chocolate and icecream,but why would he order such a break fast for me??
Just because I'm a doctor i won't eat all healthy,it isn't written in any book that a doctor should eat healthy.

Well it sure is written that everyone should eat healthy..
But pffff!! Who cares.

I can't waste food,I hate wastage of food.
So I guess I have to eat it ... I sighed helplessly.
Hmmm, fruit salad ok....
But vegetable salad nooooooooo!!!

So that's what I did,
I took out my phone and dialled the number which was written on the note.

And he answered in the 2nd call

I asked him politely.

Sure,Mrs Knight I will be there in 15 minutes.
Wow!!! I didn't know he was really going to act upon my words without asking anything else.
Must be my Dear Husband's order.

I want to thank Lucas, and i will but first let's finish breakfast

Exactly after 15 minutes Devin arrived and stood infront of me ...
Hmm,i think he knows the passcode to open the penthouse.
Ofcourse he knows,silly me.
He entered the house earlier...

I asked him to sit down,but he was really hesitant in doing so....
But somehow I made him sit down.

After sitting down he looked at me expectantly and I gave him a wide smile.

"Devin,I will be very,very grateful if you helped me with finishing my breakfast, please. " I pleaded him.

He stared at me weirdly as if I have suddenly grown horns .

"I am so sorry,but I don't understand Mrs Knight . " He asked me,his face screaming confusion.

"Ohh!!You don't have to understand it's not Physics, you just have to eat"
I smiled at him.

Now he looked at me as if I was mad..
No,Devin I'm not..
And suddenly as if he realised something.
Devin straightened himself and his expression turned stoic.

I rolled my eyes at that and asked him to have breakfast with me.
I would have asked Lucas,but he is very busy,and I have scared him enough for now.

Devin gave me a nod and I passed him the Vegetable salad and as if he suddenly realised something,he smiled a little and i quirked a brow at him suspiciously.
His smile flattered and he shook his head in negative,as if he knew what exactly was I asking?

Weird people!!!

I finished my breakfast and Devin did too , as he was such a sweetheart and helped me complete the breakfast,I shared half of my orange juice with him,he downright rejected that.... And after a lot of pestering he drank it still hesitant, I definitely didn't poison it,and he brought that himself for godsake.
I wanted to roll my eyes, but it would come out as rude.

Now I suddenly feel irritated...
Great,just great.
I thanked Devin, which he dismissed oh-so - politely.
That no need to thank him,it is his duty to serve me.
Why don't my bodyguard behave like this,

Nevermind,I was the one who asked him to
consider me as his friend. And that fool behaves like those typical bully type of friends.

I gave both of my bodyguards paid leave as I won't be needing their assistance atleast for a week.

I have to checkup on them.i made a mental note on calling them afterwards.

First things first, thanking Lucas..
I decided to call him.. wait, what if he is in a meeting...
I personally am not a fan of calls during meetings..
So I'll just text him.

I took out my phone and searched for Devil Lucas(husband 👿) I know he isn't  some devil.
Oh!! Who am I kidding? There is only one devil Lucifer...
I kinda like Lucifer ....... I love you God more than I like Lucifer.
It's just that he seems interesting.
And I would highly recommend Lucifer to ignore me completely.

I thanked Lucas in the text and placed my phone on the teapoy and took out my half eaten icecream out of the fridge, and stored the icecream and chocolates in the fridge as I forgot to do so earlier.

I started Binge watching Dark a German series, even though I have watched it once, but who cares I wanted to watch,so here I am doing the same thing while,I was surrounded by Vanilla icecream, Pista icecream, dark chocolate and Chamomile tea.

LUCAS'S POV

I sighed in relief as the meeting with the investors for my new publishing company went really great, atleast they didn't throw a fit at why did Sanvi reject the offer .
I didn't have time to listen to those grown ass mans throwing a tantrum of a toddler.

One thing was for sure that they were all curious with regards to Sanvi's rejection.
Only if I knew earlier..

I seriously am considering banging my head on some wall.

Oh!! Don't even think about that you plank,last thing you need in your always chaotic life is a concussion. I rolled my eyes at my so called conscience.

I checked my phone as,I heard a ding ..
Which means someone messaged me.

Wow!! Aren't you a f*****g genius, how easily you figured it out that it was a message, nobody ever knew that...
I am f*****g proud of you..my conscience spoke with enough sarcasm to give me a headache.

I scoffed and saw that it was a message from Sanvi.

Don't tell me, it's already afternoon...

I didn't know I was smiling until I saw Joel staring at me in astonishment,as if I have never smiled..

Maybe because, you smile like once a year infront of them,and that too in the success party... My conscience suggested.

I didn't suggest you fool,I was stating the obvious. I scowled,and Joel hurriedly moved out of my cabin, while informing me,where he was going in some inhuman language.

But my scowl soon turned into a frown,
How did Sanvi know about the pillow and blanket?

Lucas,now me your own conscience is wondering,how did you become such a great businessman?

What happened? And for your confusion, about how Sanvi got to know about the pillow and blanket, You both were the only one in their,unless you have some ghost residing in your penthouse, so now please enlighten me,how did Sanvi know? You idiot, my conscience nonchalantly explained.

My thoughts were cut short by Joel calling me.

"Mr Knight,Mr Knight, Mr Knight" why is this person chanting my name?

"Joel,stop chanting my name and come to the point,why are you here?" I asked him while giving him a deadpan stare.

"Sorry, Mr Knight,ah-- sor-- uh!! Mr Anderson is here ." I gave Joel a droll stare and finally sighed heavily and asked him to escort them to my cabin..

He nodded his head and spinned around and wait .... Did he just run out of my cabin?
What does he take me for?
A man-eater ?
I scowled at that.

Finally Mr Anderson entered my cabin,I stood up and we shook hands.

"Finally,Mr Knight, I really do apologise for cancelling our schedule last time, and congratulations on your wedding, I wanted to attend the wedding,but due to some familial issues;I couldn't." He said politely .

Hmm, I have met him quite a few times, dad would always introduce us,or Grandpa.

"Thank you,Mr Anderson and no need for an apology,as I did the same due to my wedding." He just smiled a little.
I spoke to him alot more than i did normally,I really wanted this deal,it would surely be another Jackpot..
I am not going to loose much if I lost the deal,but the deal is surely beneficial in many ways and I didn't really wanted to anger Sanvi more than she already is,so let's talk more..
I can do it...
We started discussing about the project, the pros and cons..

Mr Anderson was reading the files carefully and he was nodding to himself.

He looked up and smiled at me..
So should I consider the smile as a positive sign...

"So far, I have liked the idea, but I would like to know more about this project. How about we hold another one of the meeting in our company, where you could present this infront of our CEO and investors, then we take a decision?" The idea seemed good for me...

So I started to nod but I stopped abruptly, and said that I was okay with that.

He smiled and stood up,I stood up along with him and we shook our hands lastly and he turned to leave his secretary waiting outside with Joel, as this was a confidential meeting and not even Joel my PA know about it.

Mr Anderson stopped in his track and turned towards me,I was about to ask him,if he forgot something.
He spoke,

"Lucas Knight,I am your father's age,I have known your father since our college days,I know about you too, me and your family may not be as close as Sanvi's family. But I know you enough to know that you don't tend to speak alot. You can't impress Sanvi by this. Your work is great enough. And I know you did something, for which you are clearly trying to gain her forgiveness, without even saying the word.Sanvi is a sweet child, she will forgive you don't worry. And yeah,as our CEO is on leave for her honeymoon ,we will schedule a meeting when she is free, and I think you will agree." He informed me cockily.

F**k ! Shit!! This old man is something else,why is he behaving cockily..I wanted to say exact same thing as my conscience did .

And did he say that Sanvi is a sweet girl,I mean she may be to others,but for me ..
I shuddered while reckoning her threats.

He nodded at me and walked out, his secretary trailing behind him.

I glanced at Joel who was chuckling,
I quirked a brow at him, and he quickly shut his mouth and shook his head,no.

I rolled my eyes at him and entered my cabin and just as I sat on my chair,Eli barged into my cabin..
See, this is what I said.

"Hello Lucy!! Suprise." I blankly stared at him, what was there to be suprised about?

"Ok,ok, stop cursing me in your head and give me the juicy details of the deal, should I already set the papers?" I shook my head at him and said

"No need, atleast not now, and what do you mean about juicy details,if you want that,then just watch a movie or something.Why are you here anyway?Dont you have a law firm to run?" He rolled his eyes and totally dismissed my question and started to blabber about something, which I didn't pay attention to.

Somewhere in the middle of Eli's rant,my phone vibrated and I knew whose message it is.

F*****g great,I forgot to message her back.
Shit, shit.
Now,how was I supposed to say this to her?
Ughhh

Lucy, she is your wife goddammit, not your kidnapper, she is not going to kill you unless you cheat, which is impossible..hmm, my conscience is right for once.

I saw her message and typed a no ,her reply came almost instantly.

Then have your lunch already dear husband, it's 2 now.👋

She is concerned about me, I smiled at that.

"My,my did the pigs started flying, or the snakes started walk, what is happening here? Am I hallucinating? Lucas Xavier Knight is smiling while looking at a text sent by his wife."Eli voiced out his thoughts, while coming to check me,if I was fine or not.

I swatted his hand away from my forehead and glared at my so called best friend.

"Wait, wait did you just reply her, you are not my Lucy, you are an imposter." I scowled at this drama queen and explained him about the events that happened yesterday, Sanvi's threats everything.

By the time I was finished, Eli had his mouth hanging out and his eyes so wide that it could literally pop out.

After a complete silence for five minutes,Eli broke ...
He was laughing so hard that he fell from his chair .
What the f**k?

"Damm-- Lucas y-- you are s- so scared of-- Sa-- f**k I can't stop laughing, you are scared of Sanvi." He wheezed out..
Still laughing.

What the bloody heck?
"F**k you Eli,F**k you, I am not scared of her."

I am not scared of her.
Nope not at all.

SANVI'S POV

I was eating my dinner peacefully.
As I was informed by Lucas that he will come back late and he said me to have dinner without him.

I was shocked by his reply, but nonetheless he was trying so I was fine with it.

After the dinner,I entered my room and freshened up and changed into my sleepwear and laid on the bed.

As I was slowly loosing myself in deep slumber,i completely missed out a main thing,I haven't had any dreams/nightmares,from the time I have been married.
