Later that afternoon,

Avni was in her office, she works as a journalist. Journalism was best way to get information that she wanted. On the other hand, Neil was busy in police station. He strictly asked DD to keep yesterday night as well as his birthday, a secret.

Neil had to visit 'Channel Press Trust' to give interview about his new case. He entered the office and saw Avni standing with some people.

Avni turns her face towards him and she was equally surprised to see him along with his team. She came towards him.

Neil : Are you following me?

Avni : I have more important work to do..

When media saw Neil and team, they rushed towards him as he was the person they were waiting for. The interview started. Avni asked many questions to Neil but he royally ignored. Avni felt something weird but shrugged it off convincing herself that she is just over thinking.

After the interview ended, Avni went towards Neil who was surrounded by News reporters, female ones to be precise.

Avni : Neil tum kab free hoge?

Neil : Excuse me?

Avni : Ha woh kal humne tumhara birthday celebrate nhi kiya tha na..

Neil : Mera birthday? Kal?

Avni : Memory loss ho gya kya? Kal raat hum..

Neil : Wait a minute madam, kal raat me iss town me hi nhi tha... Aapko galat fehmi Hui hai...

Avni : Neil, mujhe tang mat Karo!

Neil : Are me aapko jaanta tak nhi! See I m a respected ACP so plz mujhper aese ilzaam mat lagaiye..

Avni : Neil me tumhe..

Avni was cut off by one of the female reporter who was standing beside Neil.

Reporter 1 : Kya Neil? Jab woh keh rhe hai ki woh tumhe nhi jaante toh peeche kyu padi ho?

Reporter 2 : Me aesi ladkiyo ko acchse jaanti hu, bas koi successful aadmi dekha nhi ki shuru ho jati hai..

Reporter 3 : Such a despo..

Neil : Are aap sab galat samajh rhe hai.. Avni..

Before Neil could complete, Avni left that place with tears in her eyes. She always fought for herself, but today she didn't because she was  hurt and the reason was Neil. Everything happened because his of stupid prank.

Neil ran behind Avni but she went inside girls washroom.

Neil : Ab yeh ladki ke wajahse girls washroom bhi Jana padega..

Neil went inside girls washroom and to his luck no one was there expect Avni. He saw, she was wiping her tears and Guilt took over him.

Neil : Avni, yaar I m sorry..

Avni : Tum? Yeh girls washroom hai..

Neil : I know tumhare liye hi aya hu.. I m really sorry me mazak kar rha tha...

Avni : Dekho, I don't know you.. Me tumhe nhi jaanti so plz stay away..

Avni came out of washroom followed by Neil. DD called him and said that they have to leave urgently. Neil left the office because of which Avni felt low as she was expecting that he will pacify her but to her luck, he went away making her feel more upset and hurt.
