"Taehyungie! Good goddess it feels like it's been years since I've seen you!!" Asuna shouts as she takes the boy into her arms for a warm hug

"Yah! Eomma stop it!" Jungkook feels embarrassed at her outburst but his heart is warm knowing how much his parents love his Omega.

"I'm sorry, Asuna. I didn't mean to steal Kookie for so long.. my parents just didn't really want me to leave the house ever since the Bo-"

Asuna cuts him off with a fond smile "no explanation needed, I just miss your radiance. That's all." She ruffles his red hair and returns to the kitchen

"Dinner is almost ready, Jungkook will you go wake up your father?"

They all gather around the table to eat. Jungkook and Tae didn't see each other very much today so both of their wolves were going a little crazy being so close and not being able to touch.

A loud cough interrupts their stares and footsy-session

"So Jungkook, Taehyung—have you guys discussed any future plans?" JM asks sternly

Both boys choke on their food

"Appa what do you mean?" Jungkook already knows that JM is referring to marriage and pups. His intentions to retire in the next five years rely solely on Jungkook's ability to take over as Pack Alpha.

"Jungkook-ah, we've discussed this already. Have you really made no talks with your Omega?" JM looks disappointed whenever he sees how puzzled and almost sad Taehyung looks on the other side of the table.

Jungkook can sense it too, Tae is uncomfortable. Asuna being the angel that she is decided to intervene

"Honey, Tae has had a roller coaster of a life recently. I think Jungkookie was trying to let him breathe and come back to earth before bombarding him with stressful topics" she says in a scolding tone. Arms crossed at her husband who shouldn't have brought this up at dinner.

JM takes the hint and smiles at Tae "Taehyung-ah, I am sorry. I was inconsiderate, of course the last thing in your mind is becoming a pack Luna."

Again causing Tae and Jungkook to choke on their food. Tae's eyes growing wide and watery. Jungkook hasn't even mentioned this to me before... maybe because he doesn't want me to be his Luna. Tae has to snap himself out of his thoughts when he feels a lump growing in his throat. He just looks back up at JM and smiles that boxy grin. Refusing to look at Jungkook who has been staring at him since JM started talking.

~after dinner~

Tae originally planned on sleeping over with Jungkook but decided against it. Gathering his bag from beside the front door and going to leave "Thank you for dinner! I'll see you guys soon. Bye Kookie." He shouts and turns to leave before he is caught by a strong hand gripping his wrist and pulling him into a passionate kiss.

Jungkook places his forehead on Tae's and whispers "p-please don't leave" he knew his Omega was upset but wasn't sure why. All that he knew was he promised himself to never let Tae feel alone or sad again. That started now.

"Jungkook I'm just tired, please let me go" despite his words Tae wasn't making any effort to get out of Jungkook's hold. Which made the Alpha's heart flutter.

"Then come take a rest in my room. I won't mess with you, I promise. I've missed you so bad today" Jungkook places a soft kiss on Tae's forehead. Knowing all too well that it was one of Tae's favorite things that he does.

As much as Tae wants to leave and vent to Yoongi. He decides to stay because he'd be lying if he said he didn't miss Jungkook too.

"M'kay... I-I'll stay." Looking up at the Alpha with tear filled puppy eyes. Quickly being taken in for another soft kiss.

"I love you, Kim Taehyung." Jungkook murmurs when he smiles into the kiss.

Tae's now tomato red face feels very hot and he can't stop the tears from falling now. "I love you too, Jeon Jungkook"

Dropping his bag to the floor, Jungkook scoops Tae up bridal style and carries him to the bed. Where he lays him down softly just as he did the night of Cana's party. Removing his shoes softly. Tucking him in with a soft blanket before looking at the beautiful Omega and brushing his hair away from his forehead. Except this time he chose to kiss Tae's lips. Which made Tae giggle and blush "that's not what you did last time Jeon" Tae playfully smirks at the Alpha (who to this day thought he got away with that stolen peck.)

"Yah! You were awake! Goddess that was so creepy of me wasn-" Tae cut off the Alpha with a peck to his forehead.

"Mm-mm, I loved it." Tae smiles shyly before looking at Jungkook again to ask "Kookie, how come you never talked to me about being the pack Luna? Obviously I assumed it would come.. y-you know since I-I'm your m-mate and all."

Jungkook is taken back. He had no idea that it was that causing Tae's sadness. "Baby, I'm so sorry. I only didn't mention it because I don't want to rush you into anything you aren't ready for. I'm so scared of losing you again that I don't want to do or say anything that might make you uncomfortable."

Tae can't help but laugh at Jungkook's statement "you really are dumb, Jungkook. I don't think there's anything you could say or do that would make me leave you." Tae looked down bashfully "I.. I l-love you too much to be w-without you again."

Widened doe eyes, Jungkook's stomach is doing back flips. Though he planned to do something much more extravagant this moment is just too perfect to pass up. So he leans over Tae to get into his night stand drawer and pulls out a little black box.

Tae's eyes are already filled with tears when he sees the box. He doesn't need to be a genius to know what's inside.

"Kim Taehyung, the first time I saw you...I didn't know why but there was something about you that demanded my attention. I found myself looking for you everywhere. Desperate to know more about you." Tears streaming down his cheeks he continues "when you left for Europe, I realized that I never wanted to spend another day without you by my side but I knew I'd have to work hard to be worthy of you. A week before you came back, I went with your Amahan and told him that I wanted to marry you.. if you'd let me. So I bou-" Jungkook is cut off by Tae jumping into his lap and kissing him repeatedly

"The answer is yes, Kookie. Yes, yes, 1000 times yes."

Both of them look at each other, Jungkook places one more loving kiss on the Omega's lips before pulling out the sapphire engagement band and placing it on his finger.

"So forever?"

"Forever."
