~two hours before Jungkook's birthday party~

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Taetae! It's your favorite astral pack wolf. Here to bless you with my love!" Hoseok shouts happily outside the Omega's bedroom door. He made sure to give everyone else plenty of time to catch up with the Omega before stealing him for himself.

The door slams open and Taehyung jumps into Hoseok's arms. "Hobi! Where have you been?! I've been awake for 12 hours and haven't seen you once." Tae pouts, disappointed that the spirit wolf took so long to visit.

Ruffling Tae's hair slightly "Oh pup, I just wanted to give everyone else their fair share. I'm here now aren't I? We have a lot to catch up on, hm?" with a smile that felt like sunshine. Tae and Hoseok sat out on Tae's balcony.

For the next hour Tae spent his time filling him in on what happened today and also his concerns when it comes to a certain Alpha wolf.

"I just feel so confused, Hobi. I realized while I was gone how much I loved him and I had prepared myself to reject him and walk away." Tears making their way to the surface "but this morning when I woke up, and he was there. It was like I lost everything I worked so hard for."

Not to sound disappointed because he wasn't. He was terrified. In that moment Taehyung had accepted the fact that he couldn't deny how much love he had in his heart for Jungkook. What scared him is the thought that maybe Jungkook was just overcome with emotion because Tae had almost died. Despite Asuna's assuring words—Taehyung is still just a young wolf. He is naiive and insecure.

Hoseok can see that this is truly taking a toll on Taehyung's mind. As much as he wants to tell Taehyung everything he witnessed while he was gone—and tell Taehyung everything Jungkook has done, he knew that it needed to be Jungkook that told him. "My tiger, there are destined mates for a reason. Jungkook is the Alpha that completes your Omega. That fact alone doesn't make him perfect though and to be honest, neither are you. You are emotional and irrational. As soon as you make up a theory in your head, you run with it. Not even giving the other a chance to explain. So while I know you want to shut down, you owe it to Jungkook to go back to that day and find out his side of the story."

Hobi leans forward and wipes the silent tears off of Taehyung's cheeks. "It will either lead to closure or a brand new opened door—whichever one it is, you both need it." Once again sending that sunshine filled smile. "So get yourself ready, drink a glass of wine and go talk to your mate at this party!"

Hoseok stood up taking Taehyung into one more tight hug. "I am so glad you are home little one. I'll see you later."

As Hoseok was leaving the room Tae heard his phone buzz. He giggled to himself: someone's ears must have been ringing.

Jungkook: Hi, I'm sorry I know I'm supposed to back off until you get here but I just needed to hear from you. I'd love to hear your voice but Jimin told me I am only allowed to send a text. I hope you will make time for me tonight, I have an entire month's worth of words for you. I can't wait to see you. Get some rest so that you are ready for me this evening. It's going to be one that neither of us will ever forget. Ttyl.

There isn't enough makeup in the omegaverse to cover the redness overcoming Taehyung's cheeks. He knew that Hoseok was right. Tae owed it to Jungkook to hear him out and he'd be lying if he said he wasn't looking forward to being held by those strong arms again.

Taehyung: Kookie, don't apologize. I am just as impatient. I can't wait to see you too. Happy Birthday again. Even though I already said it this morning. I have a present for you, I brought it from Europe. Talk to you soon.

Taehyungs stomach was doing a thousand backflips, causing him to feel like a school girl texting her first crush. Woken from his excitement by a slamming of his door and none other than Park Jimin barging through the door with a dry cleaning bag.

"Jiminie I swear if you brought me something leather I refuse to wear it." Tae had an unapproving scowl on his face.

"Yah! Shut up and try it on." Jimin winks tossing the bag of clothes on the bed.

Jimin has had this outfit picked out for Tae since he received that first red haired selca. Knowing that it was perfect and exactly what Tae needed to catch a certain Alpha wolves eyes. Idk why I'm pushing this so hard, Tae could wear a paper bag and Jungkook would still be whipped. Laughing to himself at his thoughts while Tae was in the bathroom getting ready.

"JIMIN, GOOD GODDESS. I LOOK AMAZING!" Taehyung couldn't believe the way the velvet red suit complimented his hair.

Jimin proudly boasting a smug smile. "Taetae why do you sound surprised? Let's get Yoongi and head over to Solar territory! I can't wait to see Kookie's face."

"I'm right here fuckers. Let's go."

Tae and Jimin laugh with each other "As cold as ever Yoongs.. don't worry you look hot too" Jimin winks at the alpha as they all walk out together.

"Eomma, Appa, we're heading over to the Jeon's!"

"WAIT! We're going to. Let's head over together." Seokjin shouts.

Taehyung's heart is racing. Even though he and Jungkook have already seen each other once, this feels like the first official meeting after Tae left. He was scared to hear what the Alpha had to say but also excited at the possibility of furthering their relationship. From across the yard he can see Jungkook having a good conversation with Hoseok. Watching as Jungkook takes a very deep breath in and turns around immediately locking eyes wit Tae.

"Man, that wolf's nose is no joke." Namjoon laughs.

"W-what do you mean?" Tae is confused by the statement, don't I smell like my parents?

"Tae, honey, don't you know that your wolf revealed your scent to Kookie?" Jin states baffled at his son's reaction.

"What! NO! HOW DO YOU GUYS KNOW THIS AND I DON'T?!" Tae is pouting and embarrassed. Who talks about that kind of stuff anyway.

"I think you should take that up with Jungkook." All of the wolves accompanying Taehyung are laughing at his shocked expression but once they see Jungkook approaching they all walk away. Everyone knows that these two need a moment to themselves.

Tae looks up to lock eyes with Jungkook and before he can, he feels himself being lifted up by the strongest arms he's ever felt.

"K-kookie...w-what are you doing??" Tae is covering his face with his hands, embarrassed that Jungkook is lifting him up in public.

"Tae, I've been dreaming of this moment since you left for Europe. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist holding you again." Jungkook says with a very shaky voice. He lowers the Omega back down making them nearly eye level. Resting his own forehead down on to Tae's before locking eyes again.

They just sat there for a moment, basking in each other's fragrance and enjoying the close proximity. Jungkook is the first to back away whenever Tae leans forward, wrapping his arms around the Alpha's nape and bringing him in for a soft but passionate kiss. Suddenly their worlds stopped. A kiss that could have easily escalated into something hot and erotic, didn't. They just stood there, allowing their lips to dance together slowly. Neither of them willing to pull away but both needing to breathe.

Once again Jungkook is the first to back away. Both of them have tears streaming down their face as Jungkook holds his omega close.

"T-tae. Let's go talk somewhere?" Taehyung locks eyes with the Alpha. Terrified of what this conversation will lead to but knowing they have to have it. He just nods his head as the alpha takes his hand. The two walk towards a gazebo that is lit up with fairy lights just to the left of the stage where a band is already playing music.

"Kookie, when did this gazebo get here?" Tae asks bashfully

"I may have requested it whenever I knew you'd be here. I wanted us to have somewhere that we could talk in private—that wasn't a stinky community bathroom stall." He chuckled "as much as I loved that moment, I wanted to have a special place to bring you whenever you were finally ready to listen."

Tae is already having to pat away tears. He can't believe that Jungkook would go so far just for somewhere to chat. They finally made it to the table set for two and sat across from each other.

Neither of them willing to speak first, both of them terrified of the other's words.

Finally Jungkook speaks, "before I say anything. I want to hear about Europe." He smiles softly at the gorgeous Omega sitting across from him. I am so damn lucky. Blushing at his own thoughts, broken out of his stare whenever Tae begins to talk.

Tae didn't spare a single detail about his trip. He even shared the embarrassing moment he shared with Sean. Obviously, something Jungkook didn't want to hear but they ended up laughing it off anyway. Afterall that was the moment that made Tae realize that he only wanted to share that kind of intimacy with a specific raven-haired man—that happens to be sitting across from him.

Taking a deep breath, Tae spoke again. "Two days before I was going to leave. Sean tried to get me to stay. He told me he had fallen in love with me." Tae felt tears welling up and Jungkook as well. "Whenever he said those words, my heart broke. Not for him but because that was exactly what I prayed I would hear come out of your mouth before I got on the plane."

Jungkook's eyes opened so wide. He had no idea that Tae wished for him to stop him. "T-tae I-"

Taehyung cut him off. "Stop, I'm not mad at you. In the moment had you done that I probably would have punched you and still got on the plane. The time I spent in Europe was amazing but every day reminded me of things that I wanted to do with you. Feelings that I was too much of a coward to own up t-to." Tae's voice began to crack. Not wanting to see him cry again Jungkook spoke up.

"Do you mind if I have a turn?" Tae just nodded, feeling sick to his stomach knowing what Jungkook's topic of conversation would be—the festival.

"Tae, that night..." Jungkook took a deep breath to calm himself. Come on Kook, you can't cry yet. "I never got to tell you but I did follow you. Whenever you ran out of the bathroom I chased after you b-but Namjoon stopped me. That Yoon girl had drank way too much and I was responsible for our guests. Whenever I c-carried her back to the cabin, I only did it that way so that I could get there faster.. so I could get to y-you faster." Jungkook's tears are streaming, remembering the hurt look he saw on the Omega's face. "Tae I had no idea you were there but at that time I was also stupid. I cared more about fulfilling a duty than your emotions and I am s-so s-sorry for that. I've never forgiven myself."

Jungkook proceeds to fill Tae in on his history in the family business and his role in business deals. Tae felt so stupid for not giving Jungkook a chance to explain himself sooner. Tae decides to get up from the other side of the table and move next to Jungkook, he needed to be closer to him.

"L-listen, I told myself that while you were gone I would change. I spoke to my parents and let them know that I couldn't be involved in that way anymore. I had someone precious to me that I needed to put first." Tae's eyes are wide and tear filled at Jungkook's words "I swear Taehyung. I will never let you feel alone or used, ever again. I am so sorry I was too stupid to realize it then but I pray to the moon goddess that you are willing to give me a chance. I promise I will work day and night until I'm worthy of your love."

Unable to resist the urge anymore, Taehyung climbed into Jungkook's lap. Running his fingers through the brunette's hair. "K-Kookie. I already love you. I think I've loved you since I saw you on the train that first day." Taehyung chuckles feeling heat coursing through his body. He's needed to say those words for what feels like forever.

Jungkook knows that he won't be able to spew out any understandable words, his emotions were running to high. So doing what he knows best. He wrapped his arms around his omegas waist and pulled him close, smashing their lips together in a kiss that has a little more heat than the one at the front gate.

Suddenly, as if forgetting they were still in a public place both of their wolves unleashed. Jungkook licked Taehyung's lower lip asking for entrance which Tae quickly granted. Both taking their turns exploring each other's warm caverns. Not leaving a single spot untouched. Taehyung released a soft moan into the kiss that sent chills down Jungkook's spine. He was ready to take the Omega right then and there whenever they heard a loud cough. Both of them released from their steamy make out session and giggled at the deja-vu they were experiencing.

JK: Fuck.

Tae: Damn it.

Looking over they see Jimin smirking proudly. Earning himself a death glare from Jungkook. "Hey Kookie! Remember what I said when I first tried to introduce you to Tae? The moment you pounce I was gonna be there to cockblock and run off with Tae into the sunset!" winking at Jungkook before running up and grabbing Tae's hand.

"Come on Taetae, I wanna dance!" Jimin giggled. Tae looked back at Jungkook and shrugged his shoulders but before he could get too far Jungkook grabbed his wrist pulling Tae close to whisper into his ear.

"We will be finishing this later, my Omega." Being sure to place a soft nibble on Tae's ear. Causing both of them to blush ridiculously.

The rest of the night went by smoothly. Lots of dancing took place, Jungkook was given several shots of alcohol. Despite the fact that he has been legal to drink for an entire year—his packmates were acting as if this is the first time he has ever touched alcohol.

Taehyung kept his distance and watched as the Alpha let loose and enjoyed his night. What Tae would have given to see that bright bunny smile in front of the European sunset. Feeling Jimin and Yoongi come up behind him both placing a head on each shoulder, he can't help but let a few tears drop.

"I am so grateful for this, you know?" laughing out loud "I never would have thought two months ago that I'd be in a place like this, enjoying the moonlight with my two dearest friends and watching someone that I love smile so big...I don't think there's anything that could make me happier" Tae began to wipe his tears as he felt Yoongi and Jimin wrap him into another hug before quickly releasing. He looked up to question why they let go so soon whenever he felt himself being hoisted up by his ass into the strong arms, that he had already grown so comfortable in.

Jungkook leaned in once again to Taheyung's ear with a low husky voice and a deep growl "Are you sure about that?" Locking eyes with the omega with a seductive smirk on his face. Taehyung is shocked whenever he realizes his position. Legs wrapped around Jungkooks waist, his strong hands on his ass. Straight towards the Solar packs guest cabin.

I'm so fucked.
