6:45 p.m. Saturday

"Tae, Yoongi—are you guys almost ready? We need to leave in 15 minutes!"

"Yeah eomma, we'll be down in a bit!" Tae nervously shouts.

The last few hours have been rough for Tae. He never used to be an insecure person so he wasn't sure why he was so unsatisfied with everything. From his outfit, that he JUST bought, to his hair. Regardless, Taehyung finally decided to just go with it and hope for the best. Knowing that once he has a glass of wine he will regain his confidence. Thank Goddess for liquid courage.

"Yoongs, give it to me straight...how fuckable am I?" Tae says, showing his best sexy face, glaring at a laughing Yoongi.

"First of all, I'm a guy—so I can't give you how fuckable you are, straight." He barely finishes his sentence without laughing. He's never seen his best friend concerned about his sex appeal. Tae always looks nice, but it's clear that he's done being alone. "Well, I bet Jungkook would bang you." Yoongi says with a smirk and a chuckle.

"Yah! I don't care what Junglebook would do! I'm trying to find my mate, not get laid." Quickly looking away from Yoongi to avoid him seeing how blushed his face got at that comment. No, Tae. You're past this. Jungkook is just a little bunny boy. Simply platonic. A friend. Hell he's probably straight and Cana is his mate. After Taehyung's mental pep talk him and Yoongi head downstairs to meet Namjoon and Seokjin.

"Oh my moon. Taehyung, what exactly are you after this evening?!" Seokjin yelps with a raised eyebrow at his son's choice of outfit. Taehyung chose a black button down top—but he left the top three unbuttoned, leaving a deep V effect exposing his collarbone. He paired the top with ripped black jeans and a satin red kimono, draping loosely off his body and he looked DAMN good in it too.

"Eomma!!" feeling the pinkness expanding from his cheeks to his ears "I just wanted to look good. This is my first appearance with you guys at a public wolf affair. Gotta make my parents proud, ya know." Feeling a little more confident he releases a big boxy smile at his parents. Seokjin ready to cry at how handsome his son looks while Namjoon is already shaking his head—knowing that there are gonna be a lot of eyes on his good-looking son this evening.

"Well looking like that, amahan and I are in for a long night of fighting people off of you." Stated with a huff, Namjoon gestures for them to head out the door.

"Ouch, I'm hurt. No love for your nephew?" Yoongi jokingly pouts.

"Oh my goodness, Yoongi! I didn't recognize you looking so nice. I assumed you were someone else" playfully teasing Yoongi while pinching his cheeks.

"Nhghh, I shouldn't have said anything—" Yoongi sighs and they all head out.

"Alright, I'll give it to you Kookie. These outfits are perfect. I didn't know my ass could look this good." Jimin says with a smirk, while staring at the way his leather pants hug him.

Laughing at the bluntness of Jimins statement. "Ah, I can't take credit. I played the song we're performing for Luna Asuna and she sent off for the clothes. I guess she got the message I was trying to send. Although she definitely gave me a concerned look when I played it for her" Jungkook starts hysterically laughing as he remembers the terrified expression Asuna made when she saw his final rehearsal. The song Dimple isn't exactly sexual it just gives off that vibe, ya know?

"Alright, so fill me in on what's happening tonight. Are you responsible for 'wooing' another girl in the name of business." Jimin rolls his eyes, knowing this isn't gonna go good if he is trying to win over Tae.

With a nervous chuckle, Jungkook remembers that his first priority is sealing this deal for his parents, THEN approaching Taehyung. Even though he would really rather just focus on the latter. "Yes. The Yoon family from the human territory are coming to discuss a treaty that would give us access to the entire abandoned city of Daegu. Expanding our territory by a lot. They also have a young daughter, Yoon Sana. She is apparently at the age to be wed so they keep trying to set her up with people. I am tonight's prospect. So I am responsible for picking them up, taking them to their seats and then spending time with her after the performance."

"Oh Goddess, I wish I would've known this sooner. I wouldn't have even talked Taehyung into coming. Kook, you know there is no way he is going to have any interest in you after watching you with some hot girl all night—especially after the incident with Cana this week." Jimin plops to the ground feeling defeated. SERIOUSLY WHAT DRAMA IS THIS. "Why can't your parents propose someone else for her? Baekhyun is good looking AND STRAIGHT. Jimin starts to pout.

"Trust me Chim...if it were an option I would have gladly had them use it. They don't really know that I'm gay and besides my parents know this isn't going to go anywhere. I just have to play nice until my dad gives me the signal that the deal is closed. Normally only takes about an hour after the festival starts. Thirty minutes of that will be us on stage." Not noticing that he is nervously fidgeting with his fingers, even Jungkook knows how Taehyung can be.

"Welp, I'm gonna give you my I told you so now, because Taehyung is not gonna have any of your shit. Between you and me, he told Yoongi and I that he is actively searching for his mate tonight. So you might be out of luck to begin with if Taehyung finds him/her." Jimin makes this statement as a threat to Jungkook. Jimin has a very strong feeling that Taehyung and Jungkook are mates—just by watching their interactions and knowing them both privately. It scares him how perfect they are for each other but he knows it isn't his place to get involved anymore than he already has.

Jungkook feels sick to his stomach at Jimin's statement. Jungkook isn't even able to sense his mate yet so he has no idea what that feeling is like but if Taehyung does find his mate—then all of his work has been for nothing. No, I can't let that happen. Mates are stupid. I don't give a shit about destiny, I care about Tae.. I'm not gonna give up because of some shitty wolf law.

7:15 front gates of the Solar Pack territory.

Jungkook is waiting patiently as he sees a black Range Rover pull up. He knows this must be the Yoons as all of the other humans arrived in taxis.

Jungkook opens the passenger side door first.

"Good evening, I am Jeon Jungkook. I will be escorting you to your table." He says with a polite bow. Whenever he looks up he sees a very pretty blonde.

"Hello Jeon Jungkook, I believe you're also my date this evening." The pretty blonde reaches out her hand "I'm Yoon Sana, it's a pleasure to meet you" she says with a cute giggle and a wink.

There is no denying that she is attractive but Jungkook can only see one person in his mind. He can't wait for this business deal to be done with so he can find Taehyung.

"It's nice to meet you Sana. Let's head to your table." He extends his arm for her to hold onto, while her parents follow closely behind them.

What Jungkook didn't expect was for the Kims to already be seated at their table nor did he expect Taehyung to look so fucking good. He can feel heat coursing through his body when he makes eye contact with the brunette—who clearly has a puzzled look on his face seeing Jungkook walk up with a girl clinging to his arm.

"Jungkookie! You look incredibly handsome this evening." Seokjin jumps up to hug Jungkook. "and who is your beautiful date? I thought you were a single man!" winking and making Jungkook nervous.

He isn't sure why his first instinct is to look at Taehyung—he quickly looks away whenever he sees that Tae has already left the table. Fuck. Focus on the business, you can explain everything to Tae later. He reassures himself before addressing Seokjin's question.

"I am a single man but this young lady and her family are accompanying me as the guests of honor for this evening. Please meet Yoon Sana and her parents." Turning to the Yoons with a respectful bow. He steps behind allowing them to introduce themselves to Namjoon and Seokjin, hoping to catch a glance of Taehyung.

His heart sinks when he finds him. Taehyung is over at the bar, talking flirtaciously to one of the wolves in Jungkook's pack, Kirito.

"Jungkook??" Namjoon calls for him, noticing that Jungkook's eyes are locked in the direction of his son.

*cough cough* Jungkook is snapped out of his stare, embarrassed for how long he was staring. "I'm sorry, I was looking for my father. I haven't seen him since Tuesday!" He lets out with a nervous laugh, smooth Kook, smooth.

He suddenly feels a small hand intertwine with his. He looks down to Sana. "Jungkookie, could you take me to get something to drink? It was a long car ride here."

"Sure Sana." He turns to bow towards the Mr. and Mrs. Yoon and NamJin, before walking off hand-in-hand with Sana. He wants to let go, so badly, but he has to please her. Only a little longer. He says to himself as they walk up to the bar. Of course Sana chooses to go up right next to Taehyung and Kirito. Lucky and Unlucky for him, Taehyung didn't even spare him a glance.

"Well, well, well, hello Kookie!" ahh, Jimin! Yes! Jimin can talk to Taehyung!

"Chim chim!" Jungkook turns around excitedly, praising the moon goddess for sending this angel to save him. Or so he thought.

"Jungkook your date is beautiful! How rude of you to not introduce her to me." Jimin says with a smug expression. No he was not going to save his best friend. He was enjoying seeing him struggle too much.

Jungkook shoots a terrifying glare at Jimin, one that surely sent shivers down his spine but then turned to Sana with a smile. "Jimin this is Yoon Sana, the daughter of our guests of honor this evening. Sana this is my closest friend Park Jimin and our friend Min Yoongi."

"Ah! The first of many of Jungkook's friends, I'm assuming." Sana chuckles before grazing her hand down Jungkook's back. Of course it was in that moment that Taehyung decided to turn around.

Why the hell does she act like they didn't just meet today.Taehyung can feel himself getting furious—despite all of the work he had done to get passed his blooming feelings for Jungkook, he couldn't stop himself from wanting to grab Sana's hand and yank it off of Jungkook's back. Kirito could tell that Taehyung was distracted.

"Taetae, would you like another drink? The music is going to start soon, I'd love to dance with you a little bit before you return to your table." Kirito was a very attractive blonde male, so Taehyung decides to once again force himself to ignore that stupid Bunny boy and go dance with the good looking Alpha in front of him.

Taehyung takes one last shot and jumps up happily, clinging to Kirito. "Yes! Let's go!" he says letting out a light laugh and a big smile. Ah, the laugh that Jungkook loves so much.

Jungkook can't help the expression that came on his face in that moment, he hated that it's never him that gets to make Taehyung laugh like that. He also hated that he had to continue with Sana until the deal is finished. He wanted to walk right over to Kirito and tell him to back the hell off.

"Jungkook? What's wrong, did I say something?" Sana looks up at him sadly.

"Of course not! I'm sorry, I'm still trying to find my father. I haven't had a chance to see him yet. It's tough being the son of a busy business man—I'm sure you can relate." He says reassuringly, smiling that sweet bunny smile right at her.

"Trust me I know all about it, I think your father is sitting at the table with the Kim's and my parents, would you like to go that way?"

Thankful that he has a way out of this situation. "Yes!" He turns to look at Jimin who is doing his best to hold back a laugh. He really is enjoying this drama way more than he should. "See ya on stage, Chim"

Throughout the next 20 minutes. Jungkook knows he is doing a horrible job as a date. Sana is leading the conversation the entire time. Though he is doing his best to keep up, his eyes are glued to a certain brunette on the dance floor. Taehyung was dancing so close to Kirito. Jungkook was tempted to go right up to the DJ and force them to change the types of songs they were playing—when he remembers he is the one that made the playlist. Remembering that he made that playlist imagining himself and Taehyung—not Taehyung with another wolf.

A low growl accidentally slips out whenever he sees Kirito bring Taehyung in for a light kiss. Suddenly Jungkook feels a hand on his thigh. Snapping him out of his gaze once again is Alpha Namjoon.

"Jungkook-ah, are you alright? You seem out of it tonight."

Blush coming over his face—both from embarrassment and from the flames that are soaring through his body right now. "Yes, I am truly sorry. I am just really excited to put on our performance. I guess my wolf got a little excited too." He turns to look at Sana who is staring at him with furrowed eyebrows. He quickly turns it into a smile whenever he winks at her and flashes her his smile.

It's almost showtime. Get ready Taehyung..I'm not out of this yet.
