Happy wedding anniversary papa, mumma.
I don't know what to write today. But I am missing you both a lot.
Because today Zaid bhai yelled at me. He has changed mumma, papa.
He always talk to me politely but today he yelled at me..
Only one month of college has changed him alot. I don't know the reason. Maybe, he is not liking that we are in same class now.
Since childhood, he was my constant companion. We used to share our problems with each other. But now, he has changed.
A tear drop on the page of her diary.

" What happened Shafu?", Naano asked caressing her hair.
Naano was awake when she entered her room. She quickly placed her head in her lap. She was unable to sleep and that's why she headed to Naano.
Tears were silently flowing from her eyes.
" I am missing Mumma, papa..", she said with croaked voice. A lump of sadness was stuck in her throat.
" Don't worry Shafu, they are in safe hands.", she consoled her.
She sat up beside Naano and placed her head on her shoulder.
" You know Naano, I sometime envy my friends who complained about their parents that they scold them and all."
Naano silently observed her. From the day she had came to their house, Naano felt the pang of sadness whenever she looked at Shafaq.
" You know Shafaq, one day Amna too cried like this in my lap.", Naano said.
Shafaq lifted her head and found Naano staring in void.
" Why?", she asked wiping her tears.
" Because her favorite doll had broken. ", a ghost of smile was formed on Naano's lips.
" Really? Mumma used to cry on such petty things?", she asked.
" Yeah.. It was gifted by your Nana. That's why it was very precious for her.", she said taking Shafaq's hand in hers.
A smile found it's way to her lips.
"You are also a gift for us Shafu from her. We also want to see you always happy. Your Mumma might feel bad seeing you cry like this.", Naano said kissing her forehead.
Shafaq nodded and hugged her tightly.

Buzzing of alarm for the fifth time disturbed his sleep. He stirred in his sleep and began to find the source of that horrible sound.
Once found, he quickly turned it off and began to try to sleep again.
But sleep had already flown from his eyes. He glanced at the wall clock.
8:45 am.
His eyes widened seeing the time. Today Shafaq had not knocked on his door to wake him up. His first lecture was gone.
He cursed under his breath and hurriedly moved towards the washroom.
Doing his morning routine, when he reached downstairs silence greeted him.
Farisha aapa their maid was in the kitchen. Mummy and Daado's voice was coming from her room. Papa was nowhere to be seen. Shafaq had already left for her college without bothering him.
" Aapa.. Make tea for me.", he ordered taking seat on the kitchen's dining table.
" Zaid, are you waking now?", Mummy asked entering into the kitchen.
He hummed in response and began to sip his tea.
" Wait a minute, I will make something for your breakfast. ", Mummy demanded.
" No mummy. I am already late. ", he said getting up.
He stopped at the door. He was hesitant to ask about Shafaq.
" Ummm.. Mummy. ", he called.
" Shafaq left for the college. ", he asked scratching his back of head.
" Obviously, what do you expect that she will wait for you for a whole day to wake up. ", Mummy threw a tantrum on him.
"Your Papa had dropped her on the way to his work.", Mummy said.
He ignored her comment and left for his college.

"Hey.. Where were you? ", Saniya said taking a seat beside him.
Zaid looked at her. She was the pure specimen of beauty. The impact of her money and status clearly visible in her personality.
She was in first year of her Masters. They had met during the lunch break accidently.
They quickly became friends of each other and Zaid began to like her a lot. They used to spend their times in the college and after college.
" I was here.", he said.
" Unhunh..", he looked at Saniya who was making faces seeing someone.
It was her habit to throw comments on anyone or to make judgements.
" I hate these type of people. Fake. Want to show their modesty and make their self as pious but all are same from inside.", he followed her gaze and found Shafaq standing near a tree talking to her friend.
He didn't knew, but he felt bad hearing such comments for Shafaq. He knew Shafaq from childhood and he had no doubts for her character. She was indeed pious, modest and epitome of chastity.
Her presence was different. She used to wear traditional clothes along with dupatta around her and on her head.
" Saniya, there is no need to judge anybody from their presence. ", he snapped at her.
" Why it's bothering you?", she asked.
" Because she is my cousin and I don't like to hear anything bad for my closed ones especially my family.", he said and left.
