....Kabir....
Enclosed in the warmth of my love I struggled to open my eyes once the sun peaked through the window straight on our face. The girl in my arms snuggled closer trying to hide herself in me. Happily I pulled her closer pecking her temple. Her lips flexed against my chest moulding in the sweetest smile ever. I looked at her reminiscing the beautiful year gone by, even though for the world its only been 9 months since our large scale over the top wedding, this beautiful creation of God has been mine for almost a year now. We had our moments, our beautiful memories. We have had arguments but we fought our way back to each other. We have seen beautiful relationships to be formed, be it Kavya Abhi, who have been married for 9 months or Aryan and Tara who tied the knot 5 months back or be it the bond with the most lovable Ayaan and Ayaaz (Kavya and Abhi's twin boys.)

Who are just a few days old, they already have everyone behind them especially Preet. She is just so fond of them and as per the elders they equally respond to Preet. Like how is a 15 days year old supposed to respond but I dare not say it it front of Preet. To beat all of this we have our dearest Aryaman (Adopted Son of Aryan and Tara)

A month after their wedding on Tara's birthday they visited an orphanage where they found Aryaman, on Tara's instance Aryaman was welcomed in the Saxena family with all the love.
Aryaman himself had a charm that drove him to everyone's heart especially his grandfather's. Preet's father is in love with his grandson and no one dares to point out that he is adopted. He is Aryan's life and Tara's happiness. He is equally fond of his Preet bui (a cuter term for bua father's sister) and Preet is just like another mother to Aryaman. Personally I love that little ball of energy, he gets super excited when I call him buddy making me smile.

Never had I ever thought that my life could turn out so beautiful but the gorgeous happiness in my arms made it possible. On that thought I kissed her forehead as she opened her eyes hugging me tighter letting a muffled good morning.
I tightened the grip on her bringing her over me as she rubbed her eyes just like a baby sitting on my stomach with her legs on both my sides.
I smirked at her and her babyish antics.
Sensing my gaze on her she commented, "Tadd rahe ho?" He asked raising her eyebrows smirking and I winked in response making her laugh. Both of us got out of the bed since Maa had asked all of us to assemble at Malhotra mansion for lunch and no matter how old you get you cannot dare to go against your mother. I got ready in a grey suit ready to leave for office since I had a few meeting before lunch waiting for Preet to walk out of the washroom so that we could have our breakfast and leave. She came out dressed in a black and pink Punjabi dress. Preet still had her chudha on her hands. Smiling she stood in front of me helping me with my tie.

I picked her vermilion box and applied it on her hairline. After Having our breakfast I left for my office dropping her to the hospital. Since Abhi, Anya and Preet were in the same hospital they would come home together.

....Preet...
After Kabir dropped me at the hospital, I looked over the pending cases completing them and even before I could realise it was already afternoon. Abhi and Anya barged in my cabin scaring me for a minute. I gave them a look as they started laughing at my reaction. I asked them to wait for 10 minute which was returned by a warning stare, finally Slamming my file shut I got up from my chair. They hi fied like kids making me smile. I placed the file back at it's place on the shelf. I turned around only to tumble a bit due to a breeze of dizziness. Abhi caught hold of me quickly. One could see panic on both their faces. They made me sit back offering water. I looked at their panic stricken faces and stated.
"I am fine guys." Getting up again.
"Yeah right!" Abhi commented.

I decided to be quite since one word from me and the two of them wouldn't hesitate in giving me a piece of their minds.

Abhi drove us to Malhotra mansion as Maa had asked us all to be there for lunch. As soon as I entered I was almost knocked down by the ball of energy. He caught hold off my legs making everyone laugh. I bent down to his level, rubbing my nose with his. "Bui!" He called hugging me.
"Oye my baby? Where are you running huh?" I asked picking him up and walking in.
My question was answered once I found a running Tara with a bowl filled with mashed potatoes in her hand.
I looked back at Aryaman and he gave me a sheepish smile. Even before I could say something to him, he jumped off my grip as soon as he heard Kabir's voice.
Kabir seems to be his favorite.
"Hawww! Party change!" I complained making Kabir laugh loudly. Later I took blessings from all the elders. We had our lunch together and settled down in the living area with our desserts. Maa along with all the elder ladies had gone to her room to fetch something. I had Ayaan in my arms as Abhi was making Ayaaz sleep, Kabir was busy with Aryaman when Kavya commented.
"Don't you guys think it's high time you'll have kids too?"
Please tell me what is this girl's problem. I gave her a look that clearly meant shut up, blushing I looked towards Kabir too only to find him busy with Aryaman murmuring something in his ears. If Kavya wasn't enough Papa too joined her.
"And what, I want another addition."
To make it worse Aryan too chimed in.
"Aryaman don't you want another brother baby?" He asked. I just wanted to hide somewhere.

"No Dadda, I want a bui for my babies." He said shocking all of us. All of us looked at him wide eyed and then all of a sudden everyone started laughing.
Coming out of my shock I asked Aryaman.
"Aru who taught you all this?" I asked him in a strict manner since everyone else was busy laughing their ass off.
As soon as he heard my tone getting strict he straight away pointed towards Kabir. Everyone found it more funny and started laughing louder.
If I thought Kabir was out of this conversation then I was dead wrong.
I passed Ayaan to Kashish pulling Aryaman to my side.
"You will stay away from Arya." I warned Kabir.
Before he could retaliate, Thank God Maa decided to turn up.
"Okay so now every one I wanted to talk about something." She announced.

"Finally!" Kabir fake sighed making everyone laugh as maa gave him a look.

"It is Karvachauth tomorrow, so tell me who all want to observe it?" She asked like a teacher and just to go with the flow all the girls including me raised our hands. The moment I raiser my hand it was pulled down again by Kabir.

"What?" I asked.

"You are not staying hungry for a whole day." He deadpanned. All the eyes turned towards us.

"Kabir I want to!" I said in the most sweet manner possible.
"Even I want to." Aryaman repeated my sentence making me smile.

"Kabir let her na!" Maa supported.
"Let her na!" Aryaman repeated again.

"Fine she can do what ever she wishes to, I am leaving for office." Kabir said getting up.

"Kabir!" I called back from behind. Getting up I followed him. Running behind him but he bet me to it as he drove away in his car. Before I could think anything I received a text.

"Got to go. Meeting. Do what you wish to. Will pick you up at night. And keep the henna design delicate.
Love Monster."

It was a moment of mixed feeling, there was a smile on my face as my cheeks were stained with a few drops of tears.
