Chapter 3

Author's POV:

After having some fun time with Vikram and Ajay, Abhay returned to his home. He went and washed his hand before playing with his daughter for sometime.

He will forget the time when he is with his little angel. She an apple of eye for her grandparents, for him and for his friends. They all love her to the moon and back and will do anything for her.

After playing with her in crib he went to his room removed his wallet and watch along with his phone threw them on bed went to his bathroom. He switched on the shower. As the geyser was on warm water released through the holes of the shower. The warm water entered his scalp which made him relaxed. He washed his hair with shampoo and rinsed. After having his bath he came out and went to his wardrobe.

He picked out grey tee paired with black sweat pants. He came out after wearing them. He picked his phone and was checking some notifications when he remembered that his mother sent him a picture of a girl.

He immediately opened his WhatsApp. He don't know why but there is something wrong with his heart when his mom mentioned the name of the girl. The image should be downloaded so he touched the pace to download it.

When the image is loading he is becoming impatient. Finally the image opened and his heart beat raised without his knowledge. His eyes glued to the phone drinking every ounce of her beauty. But beauty can be deceiving he thought. But why his mom will select a girl without enquiring. Morning too she was confident. But he can't take risk. His daughter is more important. So she will be a mother to his daughter but for him..... she is nothing.

Thinking this he again looked at her picture. She is in a pink colour dress. Her milky skin is glowing. Her eyes are twinkled in the picture. And her smile.... it will lit up anyone's mood. When he was busy in admiring his soon to be wife his mom entered his room.

She found her son looking at her future bahu's picture. She smiled at that. "Look Abhay I know you must be confused but she is a nice girl." She said. That's what he thought about Megha too. But she disappointed him. He thought.

"Whatever mom. Now it's all up to you. She will be as your bahu and mother to Diya but I think I can't give her place as my wife. Also she will be in our lives until she takes care of Diya. If she hurt my daughter then I dont care who ever she is she will be out of this house and I will make sure she repent her mistake of not caring about my daughter." He said.

"Abhay.." "Please mom. Just let me take some decisions as I am the one who is going to live with her" he cut her off and said that. Without having anything to say his mother went out of his room.

If she treat his daughter badly then he will see the end of her. She will be a mother to his daughter. That's it. He should avoid her either by hook or crook

In Priya's place after her mother revealed truth to her.....

"Mom how can you do this? You know about him and he is married too". She tried to reason but all in vain as her mother snapped her "Shutup Priya we know what is good and bad for you. How many days you will be like this? How many days we have to see our daughter dying infront of us daily and yeah his marriage got cancelled. Listen Priya I am not begging! I am warning you that I will never see your face if you deny me. You. Know. Me. Priya." Her mother said in final tone and left the place.

How can I marry him? How can anyone marry their nightmare.? A beautiful nightmare that I am running away from. A nightmare which may burn me. A nightmare which may take my solace. Priya thought before falling asleep.

After one week........

Priya's POV:-

My life always plays games with me. When I thought I dont want love in my life it came suddenly and made me its pawn. When I thought I will get married and live a happily ever after my life took complete 360° degree turn. And now when I dont want to marry I am getting married forcefully.

Currently I am in my office sitting in my cubicle. Beside me Aaryash is there. We both are of same age and he always tries to flirt with me which I dodge off. Common who want another headache.

There is a meeting tomorrow which is important for me and my team mates along with company. It's with the most reputed company well let's say second most reputed. The first is Rathod Enterprises.

I know who is its CEO. Well let's not go there. Tomorrow I am the one who will do presentation. Unlike some people I have stage confidence. I used to participate in almost every school and college activities. Which included in speeches and all so I am not afraid to speak infront of lots of people.

I am very busy going through a file when I got a call from mom. I lifted the call. "Priya where are you?" She asked. "Obviously in office mom." I said. What she is thinking she knows that I will be in office at this time right.

"Priya come home quickly today evening. I and dad are leaving to your grandma's town as her health is not good. The keys will stay with Anitha aunty collect them from her." She said and cut the call after giving me some instructions.

The whole day I was busy and eventually forgot about Abhay. At time around six I collected my things and left to parking lot.

After going through all my things in bag I got my scooty key and started my scooty before drifting away from my office building. Work is the only thing which keeps me sane. If not for work I would have gone mad with all the things happened in my life.

I was stuck in traffic and the rain started. Fuck the global warming. The weather changes are like my moods looks the nature is PMSing too. I thought and chuckled at my stupid thoughts.

Suddenly the rain start to pour. And thank God the traffic got clear in time. I reached my home fully drenched. I collected keys from my neighbour. I opened the main door lock and went inside. I went to my room not before locking the main door.

After reaching my room I went to bathroom and took a nice warm shower. I came out and went to cupboard to collect my night wear and wore them.

Later I opened Netflix and watched some series. After sometime I got bored and switched off the T.V and started to think about my life.

I replayed my mom's words. A sad smile came appeared on my face as I thought about my beautiful dream and my worst nightmare.... will I ever get over the past? Will I ever be the same I used to be? How many twists and turns are there for me more in my future? Wait!! Is there any future for me? These are the lost thoughts in my mind before I heard my phone ringing. It's my mom. She asked all the queries and I came to know that grandma is fine now. After talking with her sometime I ended her call and went to kitchen to prepare myself dinner.

I made fried rice and ate it. After reading some novels and scrolling through Instagram I got tired and went to sleep as I have a long day tomorrow......

Hey folks. I am back. Why? Because my exams got postponed.

I am really sad hearing that because it's high time now and I am very much impatient to write my exams and get done with it before continuing my work as a writer but looks like I am no bear to it and had to wait.

I can't promise daily updates now because I have to complete Destined To Be Mine and also right now I have so much in my plate. I dont want to give you guys a normal boring update. So Ian sorry for that.

Be safe guys and dont come out of your homes unless it's very important. Stay home and save the world.
