After 10 minutes of my arrival, Mudassar came. He was wearing a light blue V neck t-shirt with dark blue jeans, he looked hot, as usual.

My nervousness reached level 10 as soon as I spotted him. Whatever I had planned went under the drain. And I was left speechless. See this is what happens.

As he approached me, I just kept staring him like a creep. Like a dumb I am. He stopped just in front of me and smiled. And that was the most sexiest smile I had ever seen. And only he can make it happen.

' hi.......'

It was him, who initiated the conversation,

I just gave a small node, and started fidgeting with my fingers, which I always did when ever I was anxious or nervous. And he knew it too well.

He just gave me a knowing look. And I just blushed. He waited for me to say something, but I didn't. I couldn't. So he just sighed.

And said,

" alright you are just too dumb to do this conversation, so let me start.

It might come as a surprise to you, but this is the time for you to know.

We have know each other since we were 4. The very day I saw you, I fell in love with you. I just knew that you are the one for me. And all I wanted to do was to make you mine.

Years passed, I tried giving you hints, mixed signals, but nothing happened, you being you the most naive person in this planet never understood my feelings.

I still don't know if you feel something for me, but I am just gonna take a chance. A leap of faith. I can't just let you go to study elsewhere without you knowing my feelings.

I am ready to face the consequences. But I just can't live with another day full of torture. The idea of you going out there, finding someone better than me is killing me,

So please, please consider this.

I love you. I have seen you transfering from a cute, clueless girl in to a strong, beautiful and smart adult. I love each and every phase of you.

I just didn't know what to say now, I mean all those years I thought him being oblivious to my feelings, he felt the same.

I felt like crying, each word from his mouth boosted my confidence.

I believed him when he said he loves me, eyes cannot lie. I saw each and every raw emotion playing on him like a movie on the screen.

It was too much for me to accept, so I just started full on sobbing, I couldn't control my emotions, I wasn't prepared for this, never in my life I had expected this.

I was happy, ecstatic, I wanted to jump in to his arms and never let go. I wanted to be his. Forever and ever.

But I couldn't control my overwhelming emotions and happy tears, but he took it in a wrong way and started apologising.

"Ruby, I am sorry, shit!! I am so damn sorry. Please don't cry. I didn't mean to make you cry..... Please don't cry.... I can't see you like this. I am sorry... You don't have to accept me.... I can take this rejection. Please don't cry......."

"Stop..... Mudassar, I love you. I love you so so so damn much. I have loved you for a while now. Today I came here to confess my feelings, but you beat me,

I am crying because I am happy, I never expected your confession. Honestly I was ready for the rejection.

But I am happy. I am more than happy.

I love you so much".

By the end of my sentence, he had already taken me in his arms. And hugged me tightly. At that moment I knew no matter what we will be fine. Always.

Suddenly he let me go, knelt in the ground and offered an infinity gold ring

"It's a symbol of love to you. No matter where you are this will remind you , you belong with me, your are mine. As I am yours.

The infinity simply states we belong together till the end of time.

Ruby and Mudassar together , forever ."

I was left speechless again. I accepted the ring and hugged him tightly. We just stayed in each other's arms for a while.

Then when I let him go, he had that usual smirk on his face and said,

"You must be happy, that you got the hottest guy of the town."

Ladies and gentlemen, my egoistic bestfriend is back.

"You mean to say the most idiotic, egoistic and mean jock of our town."

We spent rest of the evening near the lake, contented in each others arms.

When we reached my home, he bid me good bye and walked away.

After finishing my dinner with my family I went to my room. We decided to tell our family at the weekend.

After finishing my daily routine, when I was about to sleep I received a SMS,

'GOOD NIGHT , FIANCE
SWEET DREAMS
;)'

It was Mudassar,.
I couldn't stop the smile or the fluttering butterflies in my stomach

I replied

'FIANCE HUH!?
I DONT REMEMBER You ASKING ME THE QUESTION!!'

'YOU ACCEPTED MY RING, NOW YOU ARE MINE. NO GOING BACK. SLEEP RIGHT SWEETHEART.'

'GOOD NIGHT,'.

That night i slept with a smile on my face. Every thing was perfect. I thanked the almighty and slept peacefully
