Next day, at Malhotra Mansion . Shreekanth comes down all ready to leave for the office where he greets Nyonika and Manik on the breakfast table .

Shreekant sits down next to Nyonika and speaks,

"Manik, 3 days later we have an important deal with the clients from London. Hope you remember about it"

Manik thinks and then shakes his head in disbelief thinking How can he forget the important dates. For some weeks , he hasn't been thinking straight. His mind , well his heart is somewhere else .

Manik: Dad, but I have to take someone along with me as Presenting those drafts would take me ages to make, and I need someone good at it.

Nyonika: Um Manik, why don't you take nandini? Manik widens his eyes looking at his mom. Who had a sheepish smile on her face . "because I saw her bio data she did an advanced course in this and I guess she would be of great help".

Shreekant : ( grabs his coat) , hugs Nyonika and Manik and says " well I don't mind. I'll tell my agent about her visa and ask him to get it urgently and then after 3 days you can leave for London. We have our penthouse there so things will be sorted. I will be calling the butler and asking him to clean the house. Will see you in the office by darling and he leaves for his meetings .

Manik tries to hide his blushing face in front of his mom, but she chuckles and goes away from there. Manik grabs his jacket, and leaves for the office . He had several thoughts in his mind, what if nandini doesn't feel comfortable? Well lets see, as an intern it would be good for her to learn a few things . He reaches the office . He goes to his cabin, and he sees Nandini was already there but she wasn't in the cabin; her bag was on the side table and the laptop was open on the desk . He roamed his eyes all over the room but couldn't find her . There she entered with her brightest smile , with a cup of iced latte his favourite .

Manik pov-

She wore a simple kurti today to the office , with a pair of small jhumkas hanging in her ears . She looked nothing but gorgeous in that . It was a simple one for sure but her eyes sparkled in that little kohl she applied on her eyes and a soft pink lipstick. She doesn't need more makeup because she is already so pretty, she can even make this simple attire so ethereal . I can't lust her today , I guess I am just drowning in her so much that I don't even know how to explain myself . And Ofcourse it's not just the way she looks, her nature is Moreover, what guys want in women is confidence. Always stand up for what you believe in as that defines your character. A self-confident woman knows her self-worth.

Nandini pov

As I entered his cabin, I caught him staring at me as if he was in some trance. His eyes did not travel down my body today, I felt like he was admiring my face, today it felt different. Thou with me it always feels different and moreover special. When his eyes met mine, he didn't dare to hide the fact that his face was caressing every inch of my face. I coughed and broke his trance . He moved toward me, took his coffee and kept it on his table.

He moved closer, we were just an inch apart from each other , he moved down and whispered huskily in my ears , turning my ears pink "you look beautiful", and I looked back in his eyes , his eyes were telling the truth , they were speaking today. I tucked the loose strand behind my ear and thanked him.

Manik: Um nandini, I need to tell you something.

Nandini ( all confused and looked at him) yes?

Manik : Look I have an important meeting In London after 3 days , and I have a deal to crack and you know I can't let this opportunity go away. This is gonna be a big thing for me too, and If I don't take it you know dad will give it to aryaman.

Nandini: Oh great then you should go .

Manik: But I want you to come with me .

Nandini: What? Are you crazy ? Come with you? Manik how and what? Umm.. You know we are just getting to know each other and

Manik : Hold on express, I am not asking you to come with me on a honeymoon. I am asking for yourself , you know there will be a lot of presentation work there and I can't handle that alone. I need to prepare for the meeting and data as well. And you have done the course so come with me . We are just gonna be there for 3 days.

Nandini: Manik this is quite too soon, and I am just an intern and can't you take someone else. For so many years, who was handling all this?

Manik ( he felt a bit furious) : oh common nandini, don't be so full of yourselves, yes I could have taken someone else too but it was a great opportunity for you to explore as well. And I will be paying you double for it .

Nandini ( widens in shock) and teary eyed : you really thought I would do it for money? You think so low of me ? Before he could speak she ran away from the cabin and went to the washroom.

Manik pov

Damn it, I shouldn't have said that ugh Manik you always mess up. What would she be thinking of you? Can't you ever control or keep a filter when you talk? God this can't happen. I felt like a freaking control freak. I need to make it up.

Nandini in washroom-

Sharon enters seeing Nandini upset, she asks about what happened and Nandini explains the scenario. Sharon consoles her first and then explains to her that "Nandu, Don't think it as wrong, maybe he really wanted you to explore more in your field and even you know he could have easily got someone else instead of you but he does care for you, and he wants you to grow . So calm down and yes the money thing was wrong so that you can be a little mad at him" . Nandini nods and wipes her face and enters the cabin .

She doesn't find him in the cabin, she was keeping the files on his table of the next scheduled data , when Manik enters . He sighs seeing her and back hugs from behind making her startled .

Manik: He whispers slowly " Sorry, I know what I said was wrong and you have every right to be upset, but don't cry please it is not very pleasant for me to see . Can't see you crying like that. Scold me , be the wild cat but don't be upset please".

She smiles a bit and turns towards him. He held his ears asking for sorry.

She looked at him, and realised no one has ever apologised to her , be it her parents as well or the ex .

She removed his hands from his ears and said

Nandini: "Its okay manik, I know you wanted me to grab this opportunity. I get it, maybe even I overreacted".

He grabs her closer , he leaned down and claimed her lips taking in his. It was a soft kiss, no wildness, just a peaceful making up kiss .

Nandini: Okay, I will come with you . I'll just ask my parents and then I will give you my passport for the visa.Listening to this Manik couldn't stop grinning and he took her in a bone crushing hug . He kissed the tip of her nose , her cheeks making her giggle .

Manik tells her " looks like for the first time ever my outdoor meeting is gonna be worth it , '' and he winked at her .

Nandini looks down , blush flaming all over face , she punches him lightly and then goes back to her desk .
