It was around 8pm, all had left the office, after wrapping up her work for today she was packing up her belongings to leave for home. Manik entered the cabin, he saw Nandini was getting ready to leave. He coughed coming close to her exact behind her, making her startle . She was about to leave but he caught her wrist . He pulled her in front of him , looking in her eyes.

Manik: Sharon hasn't come today right. She slowly bobbed her head . I will drop you home okay?

Nandini: Umm, It's okay Manik, I can manage, aur waise bhi Swayam is there , He will drop me home.

Manik: Maine kaha na, I will drop you home no more arguments . See you at the b4 parking zone okay . I will be there in 5min

Nandini: she nodded and left for the parking zone .

She went near the parking zone near his car , he came right after 5 mins. He came from behind, opened the door for her, this left Nandini all flushed and flattered . She felt special, no guy had treated this way the way he was treating her . She lowered her eyelashes hiding her blush and sat inside the car . He sat down on his side and started driving . It was a bit awkward for her as first they were friends and now they are what is still a question mark for both?

The car ride felt good today, it felt peaceful for both of them . He was glancing at her every now and then, having a slight smile on his face . It was a different yet special feeling for both of them. He turned on the radio and there played a song 🎵

"Tu hi meri hai saari zameen
Chaahe kahin se chaloon
Tujhpe hi aake rukoon
Tere siwa main jaoon kahaan
Koi bhi raah chunoon

And they both uttered "My favourite song" together. They looked at each other and smiled . They reached her place , he placed his hand on her , she looked at him with shine bimmering in her eyes. Later his hand moved to her thigh, making her more flushed .

She looked at him

Nandini: Thankyou Manik , and also sorry for whatever happened, I need to tell you a lot of things but please give me some time, he was stroking his hand on her thigh.

This was getting difficult for her to talk*. Her hands were clasped into a fist , she stopped herself from leaving a soft moan from her mouth.

He leaned closer to her, she swallowed slowly looking at him, he cupped her one cheek softly , his hand was still on her right thigh caressing it , infact turning her on. He kissed her passionately, endearing every taste of her mouth. She didn't realise when he started chewing her lips like his favourite candy. She responded immediately that he was leaning more and their kiss deepened. He left her mouth and joined their temples together and whispered near her lips

Manik: ''Take as much time as you want shortcake, I will be waiting".

She realised he called her something and she moved a bit back and said frowning a bit

Nandini: Did you just call me a shortcake?"

Manik: Yess, because you are short and also very tasty like one of my favourite cakes and pecked her lips again" .

She blushed and lowered her eyelashes and then she was about to leave but he clasped her hand , she raised her eyebrows and asked what?

Manik: let me remind you tomorrow is a diwali party happening at our office at evening 6pm, so come on time and also look like "pataka" and he winked . She giggled and bid him bye and went to her home .

She reached home, she took care of sharon prepared dinner for both. And then she got fresh changed into a night suit.

she was scrolling her Instagram at 11pm, there she saw a post of manik which was posted 2 mins ago.

He captioned it as : What a lucky shirt, no wonder why black shirts makes things spicy 😉

She was stunned seeing the post , she blushed so hard remembering their hot makeout in the elevator. She liked the post and then he messaged her

Manik: done stalking me?

Nandini: You wish, I was just scrolling and your post popped up . What does spicy mean ?

Manik: really? Have you forgotten? Or should I come and give you a demo 😉

Nandini: ( blushing) good night. I am really sleepy and will speak to you tomorrow.

She slept thinking about all the good things that happened and also the way he told her that he was ready to wait, made her heart jump the loudest .

Next Day:

It was around afternoon time Sharon and Nandini woke up late , as the office party was in the evening . Sharon and Nandini were chilling. Sharon could notice her happy chirpy smile and the enthusiasm to decorate the house for diwali. She assumed it would surely be Manik, she smiled and then they decorated their house . They were getting FoMo as they were missing their parents for the diwali but they hugged each other and fed each other sweets .

She saw manik had added her on snapchat, she smiled lightly and added him back . It was around 4pm where he sent her a snap

She widened looking at his picture, he looked like a freaking greek god in that . His chest was revealing and he had a black mole there. She bit her lip lightly thinking about him sexily. No wonder everyone is charmed by him. He looks like a perfect guy every girl would crave for . This thought did disturb her mind but she shrugged away and sent him a snap of hers as she was getting ready .

He sent her a message " ohh looks like you wanna kill me already do you?"

Nandini: Well that's the plan, now don't disturb me, see you at the office .

They both blushed and started getting ready for the party . Not only did they want to look good but they wanted to look special for each other .
