After the encounter with Aryaman Manik was super pissed at him for holding her hand and stopping her, he just wanted him to be far far away from her, not even his shadow near her. He saw her working on the presentation so engrossed with her cute specs touching her nose .

Maniks Povs:
What a doll she looks like, how can someone be angry at this cute little kitten for a long time . Honestly whenever she is around me I feel so  calm, back then I used to be so anxious just worrying all the time but her smile and her face just lightened  up my mood. He bit his lip and looked down not wanting to get caught staring at her .

She glanced up to see Manik working, she walked up to him and told him that her work is done and it's 7pm so she is leaving now .

Nandini: Sir, (umm she looked down bit her lip she remembered that he had told her to call him Manik)
Shrugging her thoughts, she said "I will leave now, see you tomorrow.

Manik: Yes sure, good night and he smiled at her and she smiled back .

Nandini: ( she turned and asked) Aren't you going home?

Manik: Nah, I have a meeting with the board today so it will wrap up late.

Nandini: Okay, bye . And he bid her back.
This was their first time having a normal conversation 🙈👅

During the board meeting manik was presenting his points but aryaman overtook him and removed every mistake that shows how he is not handling it well and just making the sales down. He submitted the report to Shreekant malhotra and he got angry at manik and also was disappointed he went to him and yelled in front of all .

Shrikhant: Manik, I thought you were responsible. Is this the way you handle work? I haven't assigned you to bring my company down . If you are going to be so reckless about it I wouldn't removing you from position

Manik: ( he was shocked to see his dad and felt insulted in front of all) he glared at Aryaman who was smirking seeing him in this condition. He could just utter sorry and left from that place.

Manik was angry, he was angry at his dad, he was angry at everyone for not trusting him. More than anger it was hurting him that his dad trusted that douche more than him. He was pissed he was driving harshly; he just wanted to vent it all out . It was driving him crazy. Trust was the most vital thing for him, as trust provides a sense of safety. He wasn't in his senses. He parked near a garden and was scrolling in his phone there where he saw the last seen of Nandini . He sighed a bit and saw she was online a few mins back. He clicked on her display and there he could have a light smile on his face.

He kept staring at her profile picture , her beautiful hair just flying in the wind, her rosy cheeks were so cute, she had the best smile anyone could ever have . She had the calmness in that picture, it was so beautiful, so real and so soothing. He realised that he needed her right now he just wanted to be near to her so he drove to her building. He looked up to see her room's lights were on. He sighed and just took his phone and messaged her to come down .

Nandini was about to get ready for bed. She was in her pink strap top and pyjamas ,looking so cute . She looked at the message and she was shocked to see, she ran to her window to check if he was really there .

She went down to meet him, carefully closing the door and taking the keys, seeing to it that Sharon doesn't wake up. She walked up to him and dragged her a bit near the tree so that the society people wouldn't notice . She went up to him and said

Nandini: sir, I mean manik kya hua? You came to my building and you called me so late at 11pm and you look so worried . Is everything fine?

Manik: he looks down almost on the verge of bursting. He just banged the door of his car so hard causing a bruise on his hand.

It shocked her and scared her but she felt that he was teary eyed

She went a bit close to him, held his hand and asked him, manik. Her voice was so calming he just took her in a hug making her eyes widened . She don't know how to react. He was hugging her tight, closing his eyes as if feeling his peace in her. She was stunned , and wasn't hugging him back yet .

She was hesitant for a second but the grip on her tightened and she hugged him back slowly , both were lost finding peace in each other's hug . She closed her eyes feeling the hug , and so did he have a slight smile, feeling as if the whole world was in his arms and he just didn't want her to let her go as if this hug is going to cure all his problems.

Nandini realised their position and tries to break the hug

Manik: nandu 5min please

Nandini heart melted with his soft tone and Manik hugs are tight

After 5min they moved away from the hug slowly staring at each other's eyes finding answers which were unsaid .

Manik: he sighed and finally spoke that , nandini do you also think I am not worthy of anything?

Nandini: she raised her eyebrow not understanding anything . She asked " why are you saying this, what happened? "

Manik : he explained to her what all happened in the meeting , though he doesn't share any of his personal problems except cabir but he just felt right . He just trusted her with all this heart.

Nandini: she softly placed her arm on his shoulder and said, don't get angry with your dad Manik, everything will be ok. Parent's have the right to scold us whenever we make mistakes . I am sure he will understand . Don't think anything wrong, in fact take this as a lesson and rectify it . She smiled at him lightly and he looked at her with so much so peace in his eyes his anger was long gone .

Manik: I think you are right, I will try my best to work hard on this and I am sure I won't disappoint him again. And ya , thanks .

Nandini: Arey, you just called me your friend right, friendship mein  no thank you no sorry . And she giggled.

Manik: he laughed at it and said well miss friend aren't you too filmy? And she just gave him a soft glare . And they both again broke into small laughter.

They bid each other goodbye and she slowly went to her home opening the door thinking about the moment it happened and she couldn't stop thinking about it . And there , Sharon was sitting in the living room raising her eyebrows with crossed arms and waiting for answers .

Nandini: (to herself) uffo tu toh gayi!
