THE RETURN JOURNEY - 1
The night was dark and hazy,
Thick blanket of mist rolling,
Thrills running down the spine,
She felt as if venturing into the unknown.
Though hearts drummed in fear,
Excitement too pumped clear,
A journey worth remembering,
It was, in her monotonous life.
Roads blocked, vehicles jammed,
Long queue of lights flickered,
Awaiting their turn,
To get back on the wheels.
Tired of the wait and the jam,
The boys got down to help,
Directing the vehicles in dark,
And that's when fate played its cruel card.
