Days passed fast,

And then came a day,

A day of celebration,

For the college fest.

Her heart bubbled in delight,

For he would be there in the light,

Amidst the crowd with his gang,

To witness the fun filled fest.

Eyes scanning the crowd,

Lips curved up in joy,

As she spotted him,

Cheering for his mates.

Discrete she moved closer,

Standing by his side, talking slower,

While the huge crowd roared aloud,

Their hearts too drummed loud.
