I licked my lips enjoying the last drop of Zoey's blood that was lingering on my lips. Damn... That girl blood was exquisite. 

I stared at the ceiling as my hand rested on my head comfortably. I can't believe I wasted so many months without drinking her blood.  I had the green light from her father but my hate towards that girl made me drink rat blood rather than drinking hers... Not anymore...

"Nathan?" A small whisper from a voice I knew too well came from the door. I sat down fast and looked towards the door nervously. This was really dangerous...

"Aurora?" I whispered afraid that someone would hear me.

"She found out yet again, and I erased her. I have to start all over with her again." He stood up hands in a fist pushing against his desk hard. The desk groaned under the pressure of his fist but didn't break.

"Did you managed to have sex with her?" His stared became cold.

"She's too old fashion," I said lamely. John's lean even further towards me with really angry eyes I stared right back trying to look truthful.

"She is?" He asked in pure disbelieve.

"You been watching her with me Sire. NO man has got to her heart, only her pants, and that's only when she wants it..." That was half true. "She's been dating me for weeks-"

"Until you screw up AGAIN! And now you have to start the whole process all over again! I need her NOW, when we started talking we never talk about months, it was weeks at the most! She needs to start her training and help us! We are losing the fucking war!"

"Why don't you choose another human, but skip the dating part, just kidnapped a Slayer, force her and keep her until she gives birth... Then raise the baby from scratch."

"ARE YOU SAYING I SCREW UP!"  He stepped out from behind his desk and walked towards me. I stood up fast but if John wanted to lay his hands on me I couldn't stop him.

"No... I am just saying if you have lost your patience waiting for Zoey-"

"You know." He said interrupting my babbling. "Joshua has been begging me to give HIM a chance now. He swears he can get Zoey into this mansion in a week." I scoff without even thinking. A small chuckle soon followed. Zoey Lehane was a bitch, she wasn't your normal girl.

I was certain Joshua wasn't her type and I had the advantage of having her for two months now. We couldn't rough Zoey because that meant death, we have to be gentle and patient with the annoying human. We had to go slow without forcing her because turning a vampire was like a Russian roulette. You never knew what kind of bloodlust will come over them.

"Give him his chance." I snap. "I could use the week off... If he succeeds I'll let him kill me." Just like that John anger melted from his face and he started to smile at me proudly. He walked right back to his chair and sat down relaxing on it. 

"BUT... If Joshua fails. You wait until I succeed without pressuring me, and I just duel with Joshua. It's time I show him once and for all who's the new king going to be."

John stared at me the proud smile widening. He kept staring at me as he picked up the phone pressing a bottom. My confidence relaxed him. I knew I was John's favorite vampire and once upon a time... I use to see him as a good friend... If only he would let Aurora be free... This story would have been a lot different.

 "Aurora darling. Tell Joshua to come to my office and come with him ass well."

Joshua and Aurora walked in. "Baby girl."

"Yes, Sir." John stared at Aurora changed clothes. If I had to guess he didn't like the fact that she changed so fast into skinny jeans, with a tank top, and heels. She was ready for our date.

"I know we just end up having sex baby girl but you know me I need more." He wiggles his eyebrows in a lucky your type of thing. "So go to my bedroom and wait for me naked." I gulped down the vile that started to rise to my throat and kept staring at John with a neutral face.

"Sire... I have plans."  A low growled escape  John's throat.

"Are you actually saying no to me bitch!"

"N-n-no Sire... I"m just saying." She closed her eyes for a quick second then took a deep breath to calm her nerves down. "What I was trying to say is... I'll be late tonight. But I want your dick in my mouth-"

"Listen to me you little bitch! You'll be waiting at my bedroom naked after I'm done talking to Joshua. You're my personal hooker, servant, slave, and whatever the hell I want!" He roared interrupting her. "And don't think you'll be let out early out of my room. I'll plan to use that mouth of your's all night. If I find someone that much as looks at you-"

"Sire." I murmured.

"What?" He snapped turning towards me.

"I send Aurora to the store. Nothing I have given Zoey has been enough I wanted her point of view about what to give Zoey since she's the most recent vampire. Although I'm off duty... Joshua might benefit from it..." Joshua's eyebrow's shot up at my statement, but he did not open his mouth yet.

"I'll give you an hour break. AFTER your services." He moves his hands towards Aurora in a dismissive manner.

"Yes, Sire."  Aurora turned on her heels and walked away closing the door after her. I kept my face neutral but inside rage consumes me. I detested John for the way he treated Aurora but part of my revenge was doing his daughter the exact same thing he was doing to Aurora before I kill the annoying Slayer.

"I swear she acts like she doesn't like it," John said going back to his desk and sitting down. I smiled but it was a force. Joshua chuckle amused.

"Is not a good act Sire." Kiss ass!!!

"Joshua. Nathan has been failing too many times." Joshua nodded in agreement. "So he's taking the week off. So you can prove yourself." Joshua glared my way, then turned to stay at John surprise. He was not expecting that.

"And when I win" I was the one that scoffs now.

"You'll marry my daughter, become a prince, then eventually a king. You'll have the privilege of executing Nathan." Joshua bowed grinning like an idiot. This asshole was for a big surprise with Zoey Lehane.

"Thank You! Sire."

"Nathan had to erase Zoey today so use tomorrow to get into her college etc. Get your self a really nice apartment where you would be taking her." I Smirk smug. Zoey would never go into an apartment with the stranger the times she woke up in my apartment she did not like it.  Again she did not like taking strangers into her apartment because she likes her privacy. That girl was an enigma. "I'm going to give you two days to prepared. Aurora will bring you whatever she gets to you today so you can give it to Zoey." Joshua nodded excitedly. "Sadly I'm giving you less time than Nathan. You only have one week-"

"Is all I need Sire." Joshua interrupted and I smiled smugly.

"Tell the vampire there's a lockdown for the next two day. As Zoey brain rest she will be on her game with no distraction's for two days." John was not happy about that and glared my way. I cringed.

That meant today's menu and tomorrows was a rat. Thank god I already had my fill with the little Slayer I could skip dinner today.

 I walked out of the office and closed the door after me. Joshua and John stayed in the office talking... Aurora was heading herself towards John's bedroom. She was wearing a robe and I knew she was naked under those robes. Our eyes locked and she frowns at me. I gave her a short nod. 

I hurried to my bedroom and started packing a few essentials into a backpack. There was no way in hell I would stay here the whole week while John fucked Aurora and made her scream. Zoey, wasn't religious so a cross wouldn't interest her, she was not the jewelry type either... I kept walking when one of the necklaces caught my attention.

It was white gold. The heart was blood red but it wasn't a real heart it was the fake one that people draw as a symbol for the heart thinking it was romantic. The heart wasn't what caught my attention it was what was in the middle of it. Plunged into the heart was a wooden stake. I found my self-smiling softly. Zoey would love the irony of this necklace. I motion for the seller who happened to be a girl to let her know I knew what I wanted.

There was no way in hell I would give this to Joshua. I wanted to give to Zoey myself and get the credit for this. I would find a day to give it to Zoey myself when I was back in the game. 

"Decided on something?" The girl says with way too much enthusiasm.

"Yes. I would take this necklace and any expensive perfume of your choice-" She started smiling like an idiot so I emphasize. "Wrapped them separately. I want to give my girlfriend the perfume today." Her face fell and she started to pack everything for me. I paid and went to my cottage.

I hid the necklace in my secret safe. Aurora didn't know about it and put the perfume by the edge of the bed. I was sure I would get a chance to give Zoey the necklace myself eventually. 

There's no way in hell Zoey would fall for Joshua. He was too full of himself and too arrogant something that turns Zoey off.  

Zoey wasn't your normal 18 years old, She's not innocent and pure she's been around, she did not believe in love like girls her age would. She only had sex with a guy only when she wanted to have a release herself. Even if Joshua has sex with Zoey that wouldn't mean he won, Zoey would be just using him to get off, then dispatch of him the next day like yesterdays trash.

Joshua also had to be a good actor and make Zoey think he was human as long as he could because the moment that girls find he's a vampire she would want to just kill him. 

Joshua was also short temper something that would be dangerous to his health. Every vampire new who Zoey Lehane was, John made sure of it. There was a death sentence for whoever killed Zoey even hard her by accident. No one would dare approach her willingly let along hurt her. Vampires had willingly let Zoey kill them instead of accidentally killing the girl.

Aurora opens the door and closed it with the tip of her legs walking seductively towards me. I smiled widely at her.

Her blonde hair was straight and loose, she stood up slowly putting her hands around my neck. I put my hands on her waist and started to lift the shirt off her softly and she winced in pain. I frown and took it off then turned her to see her back.

Whiplash marks covered her body. John made sure, she didn't heal from the whips. A low menacing growled escape my lips. This was a new form of punishment, he made sure Aurora did not heal from the whiplash. He wanted her in pain until she went back to him. I pushed her off me really really softly and started storming off towards the door. She put a hand on my arm stopping me.

"Don't." She murmured.

"But-"

"Just kiss me," She murmured again. "Erase him from my body... At least for a little while." I put a hand around her waist carefully and turned her leaning her down on the bed softly. 

I took off her bra and threw it away from us. I unbuttoned her jeans and slid it off from her slender body along with her panties and threw it away from us too.

I started to take off my shirt giving her a little dance. It wasn't very professional because we didn't have time to waste, so I just moved my hips from side to side, and my abdomen in a snake-like movement while I took my shirt off, then went off with my pants, and let them slid off me as I kept the dance. "NO!" It came out harsh and in a growled and Aurora winced making me feel guilty I raised my voice to her. "We are under lockdown for tonight," I explained and she nodded sadly.

She dried her hair trying to make it fast. She walked out of the cottage and ran around it picking human's scent. I gave her the JCPenney bag with the perfume. She took it and gave me a sad smile, the walked away...

I hated that she was going back to him, for more sex, and more beatings. She was late, my little striptease was going to cost her greatly.

I was such an asshole and she was going to pay for it tonight. Soon my love. Soon that bitch and the monster of her father will be dead, and nothing will stand in our way, we'll be together forever.

A/N: Sorry for another long chapter O.o but it gave you a full view of Aurora's and Nathan's relationship. What do you guys think? Especially the part where Nathan bought a necklace but wanted to be the one to give it to Zoey? I think he is in denial about what he truly feels about Zoey lol.
