I do not get kicked for a long time... A really angry and scary growl erupts. All of the sudden the hunters are flying in all directions whoever came to my rescue is moving so fast you only see a blur. I sit down on the floor holding onto my stomach.

I can't make out whatever the vampire is doing because it's moving too fast. I only see hunters falling dead or flying off. Eventually, Aurora stops in front of me when is just me and her. There's blood in her mouth and she has an evil grin on her face.

She's about to say something to me but I see a hunter running towards her stake in hand. I take a stake that's laying next to her in the floor and stake the hunter straight in the heart. He stares at me wide eye.

 I turn towards Aurora stake raise. We both know we didn't kill enough hunters and Marcus ran away...

She takes a tentative step towards me and I march it backward. "I deserve that," She murmurs still walking towards me. "Let me give you blood-"

"No-" But the adrenaline fades and I fall to the floor on my knees dropping the stake. Aurora is next to me in an instant a hand behind my back.

"Stop being so fucking stubborn for a fucking minute, take my blood." She makes a line in her wrist until blood floods and put it in my mouth. I slap her hands away weakly.

"No...vampire...Blood" My body becomes numb and I feel dizzy which Aurora notice. She pinches my lips forcing them open and put blood into my mouth until the dizziness goes away. I push her off me angrily as I stand up.

"Don't do that!" She rolls her eyes at me.

"I wasn't turning you-"

"But the fetus-"

"Zoey stop being stupid-"

"Why are you helping me? Why are you changing your bitch status?" She burst out laughing and extend a hand towards me.

"I changed my bitch status since the moment I let you escape." I walked with her back to the mansion. "But don't get used to me being nice, I am NOT treating you like a queen." I laugh despite the situation.

"If she's not here in the next second!"

"Relax daddy. I got her." Nathan turns towards us, then ran and pried me off Aurora's hands.

"YOU. You save her?" Aurora nods only. In an instant, I am in Nathan's arms bridal style and he walks us back to our bedroom. Nathan puts me on the bed gently and keeps his distance making me feel cold.

"You left." He murmurs.

"You didn't give me any other choice-"

"What?"

"You know damn well I don't like to be told what to do."

"Fine. But I am bringing a doctor to check on the baby-"

"The thing is a vampire. I'm pretty sure is fine-"

"You still need to see a doctor regularly." I purse my lips as I thought. Do I even want to see it? 

"Fine."  Not long after I agree a doctor walks in. I start taking off my shirt. A guy that looks human walk in with a nurse pushing the machine, that would show me the thing inside of me.

The closer the doctor got to me with the nurse the more nervous I got. Nathan held my hand squeezing it. Relaxing me a little bit. The doctor stared at me and his eyes widened in appreciation. I smiled proudly. It was the same reaction I got with men. I like to be admired and I dazzled the doctor with my beauty. He cleared his throat nervously.

"You need to be naked from the waist down." He started to leave, to give me privacy.

"Don't you put a jelly on my stomach and sort of scan?"

"Your fetus is too small for that. Although thank you for the view." He said looking at my chest. He winks at me and Nathan growls at him,

"Watch it, doctor." The doctor walked out of the bedroom almost running. I stood up with Nathan holding my arm.

When I was back on the bed and covered. John and the doctor walked in. I glared at John. "What the hell are you doing here?"

"I want to see my grandchild of course." He winks at me. The nurse lube what looks like a big stick, then put the jelly looking thing on it. Then got it inside of me. I gasp.

"Don't sound so surprise baby. You had bigger." I glare at Nathan.

"There-" All of us turned to the machine, and sure enough. There was this tiny thing on the screen, so normal, human looking. I start to smile and feel like a huge weight is off my shoulders-

"We did it!" Just like that the stupid spell broke and I was back. "Look at that!" John said too excitedly, pissing me off. "Can you freeze it give me a picture?" I kicked the doctor in the face while he still had the stick on me. He stumbled backward taking the stick out. The screen went black.

"OUT!" I growled at all of them. The doctor, the nurse, and John left me alone in the bedroom.

"Hormones!" John said teasingly.

Nathan walked to the bed and sat next to me rubbing my back. It helped. He put two fingers under my chin and stared at me.

"I'm so sorry..." I started to smile softly. This is why I fell in love with him... He got it. "I should have known better than to force something on you." I nodded only. "If you don't want the baby-" Pain crossed his features and I put a finger to his lips. He grabs my finger and held to it softly. "But I want you to know I don't want the baby because I'm following John's plan... I want the baby because is ours." He puts a hand on my belly and looks down.

Then he leans down crushing his lips with mine...

I was skipping down the hall singing. I was going to the kitchen to get something to eat when I heard a moan of pain... I frown and ran towards the sound, to find a vampire draining the life of a servant girl.

"HEY!" He stops and turned towards me, with a smirk. "Jonathan?"

"Hello, mother." He purrs and my heart stops.

"What. What are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing?" He asked sarcastically. He smiled showing a mouth full of teeth.

"Looks like you were killing the servant-"

"I'm a vampire. Is what we do-"

"No is not. You're half human."

"And where's the fun there?" My heart sank and broke at the same time. I did not want this thing in front of me. This was not my son.

"Awww. Did I break your heart mother?" He started to walk towards me like a predator. I just stared at what I helped create. A monster.

"As a matter of fact... You did." I said sadly "I shouldn't have listened. You were never meant to be born" He smirked.

"What are you going to do about it?"

"FIx my error," I said taking my stake out... When he came at me I plunged the stake into his heart and he stared at me wide eye. Then fell to the floor dead.

"Nooo! What have you done!" I didn't see the slap coming until I flew back and hit the wall hard. I stood there on the floor stun at Nathan's rage a hand on the cheek he hit... He put his hands on me over a monster...

"He was evil," I whispered to hide my hurt. He turned towards me slowly eyes red, and a face that wasn't my Nathan. This man in front of me looks like another monster.

"NO. You're the evil creature." His fangs came out as he walked towards me.

"No! He was evil!"

I am awake and scream at the horrible nightmare that has been plaguing my dreams. I have a  bad feeling about them it feels like a warning. Sweats drip down my face as if it were rainwater. I put my hands on my eyes and cry. 

What have I done?  Nathan pulls me to him and rocks me back and forward. I hide my head in the hollow of his neck and continue to cry.

"Shhh, baby. Is all in your mind." He murmurs. I didn't know what hurt more. Thinking I was right, that I was carrying a monster... Or Nathan choosing him over me.

"Will, you always love me?" I murmur still hiding under his chest. I know I sounded small an insecure, but I need his reassurance yet again. He lowers me on the bed resting on an elbow and looked down at me as he caressed my cheek.

"Yes. I will." He says still stroking my cheek softly. He always did that, to get me to fall asleep. I could feel it. Coming yet again for me.

"You were in love with Aurora-" His movement stops and he looks down at me with a frown. It was the first time I mention what he had with her. I was always scared, but he uses to claim he loved her too.

"No... I wasn't." He sounds so sure.

"But-" He pinched my lips together to make me stop talking.

"I know what I use to say... But the truth is... All we did is fuck... You and I actually-"

"Fight a lot." I murmur. He laughs. A good natural laugh. I glare at him.

"We sure do." He went again to caressing my cheek. "Remember Dubai?" I looked up at him. Of course, I did. "I never took Aurora there."

"But the guy at the beach-"

"That was my safe haven. It was for me only." I pouted. I always thought he did it to hide me away-

"I could have taken you to another state... And would of archive the same result." I stare at him wanting to hear more. Nathan is rarely open like this about his feelings. "Zoey, what do you think we have?" I think for a moment before answering.

"I don't know," I say honestly. "I never know, with you... I fell in love first." Nathan raises a doubtful eyebrow at me.

"You did?"

"Yes."

"Ok, when did you first know?"

"In Dubai-" I start to say.

"Didn't I just told you I took you there because I love you?"

"Yes, so I'm guessing is a tide-"

"Nope. I love you before that." I sat up a little bit forcing him to give me some room, but the hand stayed in my face.

"When?" I ask curiously.

"Remember when I made you shower because you were covered in mud?" I nodded and a big grin showed up on my face.

"I was in love with you then... I just didn't know it-"

"Your lying-" He looked down at me with a fake glared.

"How am I lying?"

"You ran out of me."  He winces and looks away. I am about to say something, to apologize but he turns and stares at me.

"That day still eats at me."

"You left me to have sex with Aurora-"

"No. I didn't. I just talked to her." I stare. He came and took a shower... I assume was to clean her scent. But I don't remember her scent on him.

"You didn't?"

"Nope. I made up something like. I couldn't be with her when I had to finish what I started with you. Back then, I truly believed that... Now I knew you had entered my heart and hid there." I smile and rest my head in his chest. He pulls me closer.

"So... if I kill this thing after is born... will you still love me?" He stiffened and I could feel him getting annoyed. He took a deep breath and put two fingers under my chin to make me look into his eyes.

"Yes. I would be very very mad at you-"

"Very?" I murmur.

"I would never hurt you Zoey, but yes. I might stop talking to you." I winced in pain. "But even though you are a pain in my ass almost every day, you bring a new meaning to chaos." He chuckles and I pouted. "But that smile of yours can bring sunshine into a rainy day and love into my dead, cold heart." He put his lips on mine and kissed me. He stepped back and smiled at me, hiding his annoyance.

"How long will you stay mad?" He stiffened again, and I could feel going from annoyed to angry. I sigh. "You have to understand my fears. The only reason why I'm half and half is because of my parents. This baby is coming from a half vampire and a vampire. I don't think there's going to be anything human about him. That's why John got you to get me pregnant..."

"Zoey... Please stop calling the baby a thing." I purse my lips.

"It's what I think it is. I...Don't want it, Nathan." He sighs and leaned back against the bedpost.

"Then why didn't you let the hunters help you get rid of the baby?"

"The hunters got me confused the moment they started deciding for me. If they would have talked to me and walk me to a safe place-" Nathan winced in pain and I could see how much that action would have hurt him. I close my eyes not wanting to see it.

"Just give me until the baby is born, if a little monster comes out thirsty for blood. I'll kill it myself." I open my eyes slowly and turned to look at him...

"You promise?" I murmur. He put a hand on my cheek, and caress it.

"I swear Zoey. You are my priority. I would never choose someone over you... Even my own blood." He lay me down on the bed and put the sheets on my body. "Now my stubborn annoying little human. Can you go to sleep?" I nodded and closed my eyes. Thankfully the nightmare didn't return...

I woke up with no Nathan on my side. That was a first. I yawn and sat down on the bed with a frown. I stood up and walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. When I walked into the dining room my breakfast was already there. I sat and started eating, and repeated the food three times. I was about to get up when someone held me down hard and stuck a needle into my arm. I looked up to find John inject a liquid into my body.

"What the hell is that!"

"Vitamins for the baby. So my grandson is more vampire, with human benefits." He took the now empty needle and threw it in the trash. I stood up slowly glaring at him.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"That means that if you have a boy, his sperm's would be alive. He would not have the need for my little elixir to procreate. And neither will his kids."

"Nifty plan," I say sarcastically.

"I know." He said completely deciding to ignored my sarcasm. I looked down at my small round belly with hate.

"You'll never live long enough to be John's little puppet." I went to punch on my belly. Nathan's handheld it in the air. He stared at me with a glared.
