While I was slowly waking up with the sunshines crashing carelessly on my face, I search next to me. But you're not here.

I open my eyes, cold taking place in my heart. I left the window open so you can come in, if you want. I would have love you to come back, just a few minutes, just the time for me to take you in my arms. To feel you close. Again.

I wake up alone...

So I stare at this window. Hoping to see you cross it.

The sun was just waking up, it was early, and sky was drawning in warm colors. This sweet mess that amazed you so much when you were here... We were used to watch it together.

I'm watching the sun... This sun that woke me up with its warm light... This sun that was waking up with me to unlight my day.

Thinking about it...this sun was you. Just like you there's only one.

So I woke up and smiled at him, like if it was you, like if somewhere, in this world, you were doing the same thing.

Maybe while watching it, you thought about me?

I got closer from the window and bend on it, smiling incontrolably at this thought.

When it'll all be over, we will find each other again. And every morning I'll wake up feeling your sweet caress on my face. And I'll take you in my arms. You'll turn to watch the sun by the window. And we'll stay like this for hours. Like nothing else mattered.

Waiting for this day, I'm watching the sun. I'm watching it thinking of you. Thinking about what you do, what you think. Hoping I'm in your head.

I close my eyes, taking a deep breathe. When I open them, the heat of a sunshine brushes my cheek, I whisper for myself :

-- Hello sunshine.

My heart's beating faster. I know that somewhere you're doing the same thing. A tear ran on my cheek just to crash on the window.

The same every morning.

I had no clue that somewhere, up here, sitting on a cloud, you had stopped everything you where doing to listen to me. A tear ran on you cheek, just to crash on the window, next to mine. Yet you're smiling. That true smile you only do when you're with me and no one's around.
