7. I Found The Liquor Cabinet. And I Drank It.
Sam and Dean returned to their motel room from a hunt. They were unexpectedly stuck in traffic, so they didn't get back until five am or so. What they found surprised them.
There was a broken lamp on the floor, beer cans scattered all over the place, and Cas was passed out on the couch. He was half on the couch, half dangling from it. He was missing a sock, he wasn't wearing any pants, and there was what appeared to be some shaving cream in his hair. Dean laughed at the sight.
"Well, someone's on a bender."
Sam scoffed. "Looks like he found the liquor cabinet."
"And just drank it."
"What the hell happened?" Sam asked.
"I don't know, but I really wish I was here to see it." Dean went into the kitchen to see the damage done there.
"How bad is it?" Sam called. Dean returned from the kitchen, the smirk wiped off his face.
"Dude, there's... pink vomit in the sink."
"Oh my god, you're kidding."
"Sammy, I just can't make that up. And I, uh, I found his pants."
"Where?"
"You have to see it for yourself." Sam was hesitant, but he went into the kitchen. There was a big ceiling fan in there. Tangled in the fan was Cas's pants. He didn't know whether to laugh or not.
"How in the hell did he-"
"I don't know. How many beer cans were in there?"
Sam chuckled. "Way too many." There was an abundance of shaving cream on the floor and the walls.
"What the hell is this stuff?" Dean asked.
"It looks like shaving cream."
"Why did he have shaving cream?"
"I have no clue." They returned to the living room to find Cas smiling in his sleep.
"Who are you?" He mumbled with a laugh.
Dean couldn't help but smirk. "I have no words." He chuckled. Sam laughed with him.
"Are you from Tennessee? 'Cause you're the only ten I'm able to see." Cas giggled.
"Dude, I think he's about to have a sex dream."
Sam scoffed. He looked to his right where there was a small table. Sitting at the table was a small camera. It was still recording.
"Dean, check it out." Dean saw where he was looking.
"Oh my god, he didn't."
"I believe he did." Cas hiccuped.
"I know you,
I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you,
That look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
And I know it's true
That visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you,
I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once,
The way you did once upon a dream."
Dean was trying so hard not to laugh, but it was impossible.
"Let's just watch the video." He giggled. He went and grabbed the camera and played the video, which he called "Cas's Drunken Escapade". It was a working title.
It started out with the camera being pointed at the couch.
"Is this how you turn it on?" Cas asked drunkenly on the footage. He pointed the camera at himself. He hiccuped.
"I think so." He slurred. He was absolutely wasted.
"I just wanted to make a video in case I don't survive this, uh, whatever you'd call it. Dean might say I'm hammered, but I still don't know what that means."
He stumbled over to a small table, which appeared to be the one they found the camera at, and started messing with something. He wasn't pointing the camera anywhere so they couldn't see it. Music began to play, so it must've been the radio. He pointed the camera back at himself.
"Oh my god, I love this song!" The song was Walking On Sunshine. Cas started dancing to it, which made Dean burst into laughter. Once the song ended, he flopped down on the couch.
"When are they coming back?" He asked himself. He looked like he was on the verge of passing out.
"They should get back here. Especially Dean. I miss my little Winchesters." By this point, the boys weren't sure how to react. Cas missed them? Was it like this every time they went on a hunt? Minus the booze, of course.
"Well, it's not like he'd ever love me back." Cas started to tear up. He got off the couch and went to the kitchen. He opened the little freezer which had strawberry ice cream in it. They weren't sure where it came from, but they didn't complain. He grabbed the carton and got a spoon and started scarfing down ice cream.
"I mean look at me!" He sobbed. He was clearly getting brain freeze, but he either didn't notice or didn't care.
"I'm a mess! I'm so bloated! I know the ice cream isn't helping but it just tastes so good! Damn you, Ben and Jerry!" Now he was just blubbering like a menstruating fifteen year old.
"Who would love me?" He wailed. He hiccuped and suddenly passed out, face first into the carton of strawberry ice cream. After a minute or so, he sat back up, his face covered in ice cream.
"I need whipped cream." He got up and went to the fridge, grabbing the can of whipped cream. He popped off the cap and sprayed some in his mouth. The boys weren't sure what to make of this.
"I was nothing until I raised him from hell. I was nothing. When I saw him in there, I just knew. It was love at first sight. For me, I guess. He doesn't see me. I'm invisible. Figuratively and literally at times." He took his free hand and wiped his face, getting most of the ice cream off. He sprayed more whipped cream.
"What am I to them? I'm nothing more than a... a tool. A toy. I mean nothing. I am nothing. Until I saw his face. I, Castiel, am in love with Sam Winchester." Dean laughed uncontrollably.
"Wait, wrong Winchester. The green eyed one. I don't know. Neither of them love me. Why should they? I'm nothing but a wreck. I'm a disaster waiting to happen." Dean felt a bit stung by his words. He wasn't just a tool. He was their angel. He meant so much more to them then Cas realized. He meant so much to Dean.
"Damn it!" Cas in real life sleep shouted. "You're the only ten I see!" He snorted a laugh.
Dean shook his head, smiling. His attention returned to the video.
"I want nothing more than to confess my love to Dean. But I'm just so scared of rejection. I love Dean more than burgers from White Castle. He's my everything. He's the Kristoff to my Anna!" He started sobbing again.
"Sam, did Cas just make a reference?" Dean asked.
"I think he did." Sam was just as shocked as Dean. Cas sprayed a bunch more whipped cream in his mouth.
"I need a friend, that's what I need. Oh, I've got it!" He started moving in his seat, bumping the table. The camera fell over, pointed at the ceiling. They heard the whipped cream can spray.
"Damn it." Cas whined. After a pause, he set the camera back up properly. There was whipped cream in his hair. Cas in real life started singing again.
"I'm just a poor boy,
Nobody loves me.
He's just a poor boy!
From a poor family!" He giggled some more. On the camera, Cas was smiling a little.
"Meet my new friend." He held up his left hand, which had his sock on it. That would explain the missing sock.
"Hey, Cassie." He made the sock speak in a high pitched voice.
"So, how are you, Mr. Sock?"
"I've been better. I've just been stuck on a nasty foot!" Cas chuckled.
"Oh, shut up."
"Wait a minute, you're talking to your laundry now? What next, you're sleeping with the silverware? It's a whole new meaning to spooning." Even Sam laughed at that.
"Come on, I don't know what that means."
"Yeah, whatever. You know what you need? Dean. And I don't blame you. He's one hunk-a, hunk-a burnin' love!"
"I don't understand that... that, um-"
"Reference!"
"Yeah, that! And I want to tell him how much he means to me. But it scares me. Every time I look into his beautiful green eyes, my heart just stops."
"Well, here's what you do. You sit him down on the couch. You look him in the eyes and say something like this. 'Dean Winchester, I think I love you. So what am I so afraid of? I'm afraid I'm not sure of a love there is no cure for. I think I love you. Isn't that what life is made of? Though it worries me to say that I've never felt this way'."
"That's a song by the Brady Bunch."
"The Partridge Family. But that's not the point. You just have to tell him. Trust me, you'll feel a lot better knowing that he loves you back."
"But what if he doesn't?"
"Then he's an idjit."
"I don't know what that word means." By now, Cas was barely keeping his eyes open. He started fumbling with the carton of ice cream until it fell in his lap. There was pink, half-melted ice cream all over his pants.
"Damn it!" He took them off and washed them in the sink. But now they were wet. He looked up and the ceiling above the camera and smiled.
"Oh, don't do that, you dumbass." Mr. Sock whined. But Cas didn't listen. He got up on a chair and probably put the pants on the fan to get them to dry. Clearly he didn't know how to use the washing machine. This was a much better plan, though. Cas forgot to pick up the camera and went back to the living room. They heard something shatter.
"Son of a bitch!" Cas shouted. It was probably the lamp. Cas stumbled back into the kitchen. He threw up in the sink. They couldn't see it, but it was definitely pink. He grabbed the camera.
"Whoops. Almost forgot." He giggled. He looked exhausted. He put the camera on the small table and either forgot to turn it off or just didn't care. He collapsed on the couch and passed out. Dean fast forwarded through the video to see if anything else happened. Nothing. They saw themselves at the end but that was it. They turned off the camera.
"Wow." Was all Dean had to say.
Sam sighed. "You read my mind. Cas is in love with you?" He looked at Dean, whose face was pure white.
"I-I guess. Although he did say your name." Sam chuckled.
"Shut up. Jerk."
"Bitch." They both laughed.
"I'm going to bed." He said, walking away. They got a better motel this time, so there was more than one room. Dean looked over at Cas, who was snoring. He smiled. He unfolded the blanket which rested on the back of the couch and wrapped Cas in it. He gave him a kiss on the temple. He whispered in his ear,
"See you in the morning, Anna."
._.__.~The Next Morning~.__._.
Cas woke up looking like Nick Nolte's mugshot. He groaned tiredly. He was severely hungover.
"Morning!" Dean greeted a bit too loudly. Cas's eyes were still closed, so he couldn't see him. He couldn't remember anything from last night.
"Dean, what happened last night?"
Dean chuckled. "What do you remember?"
"Um... the smell of alcohol. That's about it."
"So you don't remember the video?"
"What video?"
"The one you directed. A lot happened in this video. Am I really the Kristoff to your Anna?"
Cas's eyes flashed open. "What?" He asked in horror. Dean smiled. He pressed his lips against his. They stopped and just let their foreheads touch.
"Oh my god, I love you Kristoff."
"I love you, too Anna."
(A/N: Heyo! So I'm sorry if these aren't as fluffy as I'm trying to make them, but I'm fighting depression, so that makes it really difficult. Anywho, I don't know if anyone's reading this stuff. I know @super_who_locked221 and @destiel_666_baby are. THANKS YOU TWO! :D I really wanna make a first person POV oneshot, but I don't think I'm much good at first person. If anyone has any Sabriel suggestions, please comment! I'm finding it really difficult since Destiel kinda pumps through my veins. *smiles like a high functioning sociopath* JUST COMMENT ON ANYTHING! Pwease?)
