18. I Lied. THIS Is The Last Wing Fluff Thing In The Collection. BUT SABRIEL

The bunker had basically frozen over. And while Cas was keeping Dean warm, an old "friend" decided to check in on his moose.

"Hola, Sam-a-llama-ding-dong!" Gabriel smirked. Sam didn't really react much, he was too cold.

"What do you want, Gabriel?"

"Really? You're not even surprised to see me, Samsquatch? Last time you saw me, I died!"

"You're the Trickster. It's not that surprising that you faked your own death."

"Touché."

"Why are you here?"

"I'll tell you why I'm here, Sam-a-dabba-do. To be honest, I don't want you to get hypothermia. 'Cause that kinda blows."

"Well, what do you suggest?" Gabriel smirked again. He appeared next to Sam on the bed, causing him to jump a little. He outstretched his arms.

"Bring it on in, Moosicle." Sam furrowed his eyebrows.

"What? No."

Gabriel raised an eyebrow. "Really? You'd rather die of everything-freeze than get close to little ole me?" Sam sighed defeatedly. He sat across Gabriel's lap and honestly didn't think he'd like it. Although, he guessed it was better than frostbite. It was like friggin Arendelle up in there.

Gabriel spread his wings that Sam didn't know he had and wrapped them around him.

"Gabe, what the hell?" Sam exclaimed.

"Chillax. Although, I guess you've done enough of that, haven't you?"

Sam rolled his eyes. As much as he hated to admit it, he was actually starting to warm up. This felt a lot better than the igloo he called a bunker.

"Come on, Samena Gomez, you know this feels good."

"Samena Gomez? Really?"

"Eh, work in progress."

Sam scoffed. He rested his head on Gabriel's shoulder. "Since when have you had wings?"

"Since always. But I don't really show them unless it's absolutely necessary. I'm pretty sure this counts as absolutely necessary."

The warmth of his wings surprised Sam. Warm and soft and relaxing. It did feel good. It felt amazing. He would never admit this out loud, though. He'd never be able to live that down.

He closed his eyes and tried to sleep. Although he wasn't sure he wanted to. He could wake up the next morning and his Trickster would be gone. Why was he thinking like this? He shouldn't have been. He didn't have feelings for Gabriel. He knew he didn't. He... was pretty sure he didn't?

He wasn't even sure of anything anymore. He only confused himself more when he tried to sort it out in his head.

Gabe seemed to know Sam was having trouble sleeping, because he started humming a tune to a song Sam didn't recognize. He would've asked him what it was, but he was too exhausted. It seemed like too much effort.

He let out a long yawn, trying to let sleep take over. If only he could actually sleep. Why was the universe being so difficult with him? It wasn't Tuesday yet.

At least he wasn't frozen anymore. He could actually feel his toes. He didn't even know this sort of cold was possible. He didn't know this sort of restlessness was possible. He was just so tired. Until he felt Gabe give him a kiss on the head.

His eyes flashed open and he glanced up at Gabe.

"Uh... Gabriel?"

"Yeah, Samwich?"

"What the hell was that?"

Gabe smiled. He grabbed Sam by the chin and pressed their lips together. Sam was too tired to fight it, so he just let it happen. And then he started kissing him back. He wasn't sure what he was doing. He was too exhausted to try and make sense out of any of this.

He closed his eyes and soon fell asleep, and Gabe never left him. He never would.
