103. A Random Destiel Fluffles (not the part two youve been waiting for sorry)

It had been nearly two weeks since Dean and Cas got together. Sam still knew nothing, which was actually a surprise to them, as they weren't the best at being discreet. Then again, how could they be? They loved each other, and they wanted to spend each waking moment expressing that. They were just afraid of what Sam might think.

What if he didn't approve? What if he hated them for it? They knew they couldn't base everything on "what ifs", but that was all they could go on for now.

One night, they popped a bowl of popcorn and crept downstairs where they kept the TV, deciding to watch a movie. Since the newly human Cas was inexperienced with "filmography culture", Dean went with Ghostbusters. "It's a perfect piece of 'filmography culture'." He said.

Cas smiled at the suggestion. "Alright. If you deem it worthy of watching, then I would be more than happy to oblige."

Dean returned the smile, kissing him gently on the lips before looking through the abundance of DVDs beside the TV in search of Ghostbusters. He soon found it and put it in the DVD player, he and Cas sitting at the couch.

"Our nights should always be like this," Cas smiled at Dean. "Just the two of us, happy and together."

Dean kissed him on the cheek. "I couldn't agree more." He gave a warm smile, unable not to. Cas always made him smile, even in the darkest of times.

The main menu for the movie appeared on the screen, and Dean clicked the play button on the remote. He soon realized that Cas was already digging into the popcorn. This didn't surprise him; Cas always hogged the popcorn.

"Y'know, Cas, maybe this time around you'll leave me some popcorn." He joked.

Cas looked to him with a blank expression, then confusion, then realization. "Oh. Sorry. I haven't been eating much."

Dean recalled the past few days, how Cas didn't eat as much as he probably should, or sleep for that matter, and it was beginning to concern him. "Yeah, I noticed you didn't finish your burger earlier. Everything okay?"

"I'm fine." He replied, eating more of the popcorn.

"You sure? You know you can tell me, I'm only here to help."

He looked Dean in the eye. "Really, Dean, I'm fine. There's no need to worry over me, I'm perfectly okay."

He decided to take his word for it, for now anyway. But he was still a bit concerned, this was unavoidable.

Time passed, and they reached a fourth of the way into the movie, at which point Cas was asking questions. Dean didn't mind, he expected this.

"I don't understand why the newspaper articles only speak of these Ghostbusters and not the fact that ghosts are real and haunt the streets of New York." He commented.

Dean smiled at what must have been his millionth speculation. "I know, crazy isn't it?"

"No matter. It is the quality that counts, not the realism. I suppose."

"That's the spirit." Dean grinned as he fed Cas one of the few remaining pieces of popcorn, a smile spreading across the ex angel's face.

He rested his head on Dean's shoulder. "I love you, Dean."

Dean wrapped an arm around Cas's shoulders. "I love you too, Baby Bee."

Cas scoffed at the nickname. "Quit calling me that."

"But that's what you are. My Baby Bee. My little human angel."

He smiled faintly at that, kissing Dean's cheek. "You're too good to me."

"Well, I just want to give you the whole world. But I can't. But I'll try anyway. In little ways, y'know?"

Cas could not have been more in love with this man. This beautiful, generous man. And he would always love him. "You don't have to try. Just being with you makes me as happy as I ever possibly could be."

Dean smiled at that, resting his head on Cas's shoulder, turning his attention back to the movie. "What did I do to deserve you?"

"I ask myself that about you frequently," He replied. "I have yet to find an answer."

Around fifteen minutes later, Dean had tested his head on Cas's lap, his arms wrapped around the ex angel's waist. "So, how do you like the movie so far?" He asked.

"It's very good, Dean. I can certainly see the appeal." Cas replied, yawning softly.

"Was that a yawn?" Dean asked, having a feeling that would happen. "Don't you fall asleep on me, you always do this on our movie nights."

"Sorry," He ran his fingers through Dean's hair. "I will try."

Dean smiled at the feeling of Cas's fingers in his hair. It felt relaxing and warm, and he loved it. And soon enough, it was Dean who was struggling to keep his eyes open. But he couldn't fall asleep during Ghostbusters, that was like a crime - a sin, even.

He felt the warmth of Cas's body, the sensation of his fingers in his hair, and the overall bliss of just being with his beloved. It was just so cozy. He couldn't help it if this was relaxing to him.

A little while later, after Dean had unintentionally dozed off, Cas found himself in another state of confusion. "I don't understand, Dean. What is a 'Stay Puft Marshmallow Man'?" But, of course, he received no response. "Dean?" He looked down at his hunter, and realized that he had fallen asleep.

He smiled small, feeling as though staying awake longer than Dean was an achievement. In a way, it was, he supposed. But this didn't quell his current tiredness. He held out longer than Dean, sure. But now he would have to hold out longer than the movie. Tricky.

He continued watching the movie, hand still in Dean's hair. He thought he could make it, and nearly did, until his heavy eyelids slipped closed as the theme began to play, and he was out like a light.

._.__._.

The whole time, Sam was wide awake as well, doing research on his laptop in the library. He had gotten so sucked into the lore, he hadn't even noticed how late it had gotten. We wrapped up his research and decided to hit the hay.

As he passed by Dean's room on his way to his own, he noticed that the door was slightly open, and Dean wasn't inside. This wasn't that big of a concern, but Sam still wanted to know where his brother had gone.

He looked around for him until he thought to check the TV room, where he walked in on a most cuddly sight. Dean and Cas were asleep on the couch, the main menu for Ghostbusters on the TV screen. Dean's head rested in Cas's lap, his arms around the ex angel's waist as he cuddled him, Cas's hand tangled in Dean's hair. Sam never thought he would see this, but now that he was seeing it, only three words seemed to pop into his head.

"I knew it."

As immature as it sounded, Sam had to take a picture with his phone; when it comes to Destiel, you need photographic evidence. He took the photo and turned off the TV, quietly sneaking out of the room, closing the door softly behind him.

And he walked to his room, he texted the picture to Kevin, typing, "I told you so; all it took was Cas becoming human. You owe me twenty bucks."

(A/N: Hello my lovely chickadees!

I just needed to write this after seeing a most beautiful fanart. *heart sings at mere thought*

I swear that I am writing that sequel, but sequels are surprisingly frustrating 😣 oh well, you'll just have to live with this fluffle for now 😊

I FINISHED WATCHING ANGEL JFC WHAT IS LIFE

I GOT A TRENCH COAT FROM A FRIEND OF MINE FOR A HALLOWEEN PARTY THAT I DIDNT EVEN END UP GOING TO SO I ONLY GOT TO DRESS AS SPIKE FROM BTVS AND IT WAS STILL AWESOME AF.

MY MOM IS PUNISHING ME SEVERELY FOR "BAD GRADES" BY TAKING MY PHONE FOR YEARS ON END AND IM LUCKY I EVEN HAVE IT RIGHT NOW

AAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHGGHHHH

So that's my life, how are you existential beings?

Also, when I enter a new fandom, I try my DAMNEDEST not to like a single person. Or else they will die. I am saving their lives. You're welcome.

So if I talk about fandoms and not mention my ABSOLUTE BAE CHARACTER, it's bc I have no assigned bae in that fandom. The Flash, iZombie, The Walking Dead, etc. Yeah. No baes. Not allowed. Not anymore. No.

Also I have this really weird addiction to Ke$ha lately and I kinda hope it's just a phase that manifested itself out of nowhere. Do any of you guys have that? Not just with Ke$sha, but any celeb that you might not oughta be obsessed with, but just... are?

Anyway, I'll just go. More writing to do. And fanart. Bye.

Peace Off my Mini Marshminions!)
