Rapunzel screamed "CASSANDRA NOO!" RAPUNZEL reached out to her surprised as she watched her once good friend use Adria's black rock sword to split the black rock bridge. Rapunzel and her friends gathered on the ledge not able to see Cassandra. Suddenly a hot air balloon traveled down to where Rapunzel's group was and Arianna was overjoyed seeing Rapunzel again. Rapunzel rushes over hugging her mother tightly as she asked "Oh mom it's you, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! What are you doing here?" Eugene questioned "Aren't you supposed to be back in Corona or has something happened?" Arianna face saddened as she sighed looking up eyeing Rapunzel in her eyes saying "It's Varian I'm afraid something bad has happened while you all were gone. We must head back to Corona immediately!?" Rapunzel and her friends shocked looks on their faces as they swiftly got into the hot air balloon as Adria stepped forward exclaimed "I MUST come with you PLEASE!? I MUST help Quirin and tell him of ANYTHING that has happened to his son!?" Rapunzel nodded as she joined them and they took off towards Corona. It took a moment to find a spot that was clear of black rocks as they landed the balloon. Max and Fidella both stayed in the balloon as everyone else walked into Varian's lab to find Quirin still in the amber which shocked Adria that she gasped in horror. She asked "How did this happen?" Rapunzel explained "We'll tell you on the way to Corona after Quirin is freed that way both of you can hear the story." Rapunzel wrapped her hair around different parts of the amber then had Adria ready to wake her if she didn't wake from the trance of the incantation. Rapunzel gripped her hair as she said "Wither and decay, end this destiny, break these earthly chains, and set the spirit free." She sung it as everyone else watched in amazement as they saw the amber melting around Quirin's body as his body fell limp as she finished the song just as the amber melted free around Quirin's feet. Rapunzel woke up not needing help this time as Rapunzel saw Eugene and Lance helping him slowly stand.
Quirin looks up at Adria and Hector as he smiled walking towards them as they hugged til Eugene introduced "Uhh hi I'd hate to break up the small meet and greet but we need to get back to Corona immediately!! Varian needs to be checked on right now!?" Quirin in shock asked "WHAT WHAT DO YOU MEAN!? WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM WHERE IS HE!?" Lance with Shorty rode Fidella as Hector rode Max to Conora while everyone else rode to Corona in the hot air balloon. Max and Fidella both arrived minutes after the balloon landed as everyone runs up the stairs of the castle as Queen Arianna ran them to the room Varian is in....the morgue. Quirin looks up at the door confused stuttering asking "PLEASE please tell me this is a bad joke?" Rapunzel whipped towards her mother asking "Mom please tell me this is a very bad joke!? PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED TO VARIAN!?" Queen Arianna sighed as she opened the door as they all walked into a large dark room. She turned on the lantern as she walked over to a table with a weird shaped body underneath a white sheet.
Queen Arianna grabbed the sheet as she says "What you're sadly about to see is how Varian looked when I found him!" WHOOSH! Some gasped in horror as others screamed loudly as they saw how Varian's body looked.

Varian's body was in a terrified state of him dying of fear.
For a few seconds Quirin finally walked forward to hug Varian's cold stiff hardened body as he sobbed into his son's hair. Everything was jumbled as he looked at his son's once blue eyes. Everyone else were crying too until Queen Arianna heard the door behind them creaked open as Nigel peeked into the room to see what was going on not knowing Rapunzel and her friends were hidden in the darkness of the room only Queen Arianna was seen.

Hearing the door creek made everyone turn around gasping sharply for a second as Nigel entered the room bowing his head as he held his hand against his chest explaining "I'm sorry to intrude at this time but I was asked to bring you to my office to tell you something important papers to sign and items that Varian had with him your Majesty in Captain of the guards office?" Enraged Arianna said "Can't you see are here to grieve a great loss!? PLEASE let us be alone and return tomorrow!?" Nigel in anger yells "I'm not sure you understand your Majesty! King Frederic ordered me to fetch you and dispose of that boy's body!?" Rapunzel and her friends were totally engulfed in darkness so Nigel didn't see her and her friends until he threw open the door in anger at Queen Arianna. Enraged Hector ran forward slices Nigel's outfit he was thrown hard against the wall leaving a blooded hole in the middle of the wall as Nigel fell to the floor breathing slowly blinked as he looked up to see everyone standing in front of him looking down at him enraged.
Nigel shuddered as realization hit him as he stuttered his words "Pri...princess Rapunzel you've returned we weren't informed by anyone!? PLEASE who are these people with you allow them to attack me!?" Rapunzel whipped her hair around his neck holding him up as she explained "YOU Should be lucky I haven't given you a death penalty for what you just said to my mom and about my dearest friend!? NOW You are aware that I will make you talk about everything my father let you do to Varian while I was gone, or I'LL HAVE QUIRIN AND HIS FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE BROTHERHOOD TAKE THEIR SWEEEEET TIME ENDING YOU!" Rapunzel dropped Nigel on the floor just as his face was turning blue on her last words tightening her hair around his neck. Nigel coughing as he gasped for air as he looked up at them shaking as he stood underneath his shaking legs as he was once again wrapped up with Rapunzel's hair around his arms perfectly keeping him from attacking with his blade he hidden in his chest holster. He walked down the hallway ahead of them til they reached Captain of the guards office.
