Chase and Skye were driving to the cafe, where "the best milkshakes" were being produced as she said and they were coming here not only to hang out and relax from stress they've got during last events, but also for something more. It didn't take much time for them to get to this place.

Skye: Well, we're arrived.

Chase: Pretty far from police court to be honest.

Skye: But it's very close to my home.

It caused the police officer to gulp slightly - did she choose this place on purpose, but he quickly threw these thoughts away when he got out of the car and so did Skye. Then they entered inside as a barmen greeted the anthro Cockapoo warmly, it definitely looked like that she was a regular visitor.

Barman: Hey Skye! Are you under protection?

Skye: Aw, shut it *laughs* it's just my friend.

Barman: Alright. As always?

Skye: Yep, Chase?

Chase: I'd like some vanilla milkshake

Barman: No way... it's Skyes' favourite. Are you two a thing or something???

Skye: Luke!!

Luke: Alright, too deep, sorry. 

Skye then huffed after such uncomfortable question as Chase followed her, being quite depressed - there was surely no blossom from her towards him, but their little hang out could be the chance he was hoping for.

Chase: Noisy one.

Skye: Sort of, but he's still quite funny - reminds me of Marshall. 

Chase: Heh, I see.

Skye: Sooo... you're feeling comfortable around New York?

Chase: Yeah. I've got personal house, a special squad and Everest as my roommate.

Skye (thoughts): *Wait what??! Everest is living with him??!!*

Skye: Ehh, let me repeat - you and Everest are living in one house, right?

Chase: Hey hey, nothing to worry about. She also helps me in baby case.

Skye: Ahhh. 

Chase: You thought that she cheated on my best friend??

Skye: Ehhh, maybe.

Chase (thoughts): *Seems like she tries to tie our bond again. Good to know*

While they were talking, Luke already made milkshakes for them and brought them to our couple.

Luke: Hope he'll like it.

Skye: No worries, Chase likes milshakes as we were teammates before.

Luke: Ah yeah, you told me... wait, is he Chase from Paw Patrol?? Just like you?

Skye: Yes.

Luke: Maaan, such a shame that you didn't get together as I see.

After hearing that, the anthro Shepherd almost choke and spat his milshake at Skye, but managed to gulp the drink which caused him to cough. It also caused a barman to smirk when he saw Skye giving him a death look with red face.

Luke: Or... you want to do so.

Skye: Luke, I swear, you're talking too much about this.

Luke: Alright, not gonna disturb you.

Then he walked away as she looked at Chase, who dried his face by napkin before humming in satisfaction, meaning that he liked the drink.

Chase: Yeah, it's really tasty one. Should note this place.

To his confuse, Skye didn't respond as she fell in deep thoughts about what Luke has just said about them - if Connor was really behind all this mess, she definitely wouldn't forgive it. So maybe she might try again to find a love blossom to her first crush.

Chase: Skye??

Skye: Huh? I'm here, just fell in thoughts.

Chase: Wanna share them?

Skye: *sigh* I... really don't know.

Chase: Not forcing you.

Skye: You know what, if we're here, together in one city after such long time... I think I need to tell it.

Chase: Ok. Go ahead.

Skye then took a deep breath - now it was all or nothing. She wanted him to understand her words properly and hoped that he'd done so.

Skye: I'll be honest, I feel like I started catching some love vibes towards you... but both of us screwed our chance back then. Now I have noone to be with during this little nightmare. But after meeting you here made me realize that a second chance was coming... I want to say that we should try again to open our hearts to each other, I'm not telling that I love you, but I want to see in you if you have this blossom.

Chase: You wanna try again to make up our relationship?

Skye (thoughts): *Yep, he's thinking just like I wanted, heh. Still the same caring Chase while being near me*

Skye: Sure... you're free this Sunday evening?

Chase: I don't know... this case forces us to work 24/7, but I might try to ask for some time off.

Skye: Nice! Care to drop me off?

Chase: Yep!

Then they smiled to each other knowing that their way to restore their relationship has been started, so after drinking their milkshakes in positive atmosphere, Chase delivered Skye to her house and drove back home as well.
