The next day Chase woke up a little bit later than usually, which caused him to feel quite stressed, time was still ticking and he needed to act quick if he wanted to save all babies, including Skyes'. Still, Everest stopped him as he was about to go out while being dressed up.

Everest: Stop!! Eat your breakfast!

Chase: Sheesh, don't act like you're my wife already.

Everest: Hahah, nice joke.

Chase: Nevermind *rolls his eyes*.

The police officer took his seat as they started eating their breakfast, Chase was still acting stressed so he was eating his meal very fast, causing Everest to feel worried.

Everest: Easy out there, what happened?

Chase: I woke up late!

Everest: Only 20 minutes later than usually, what's the rush.

The anthro Shepherd giggled as he finished his breakfast calmly, but before continuing his case, he decided to ask his roomate one thing, which could definitely help him with his todays' action.

Chase: I need one thing to know.

Everest: Yup?

Chase: In which construction site does Rubble work??

Everest: Already got an info from Rocky. I'm resenting his message to you, you're coming to pay him a visit?

Chase: Yeah.

Everest: Be careful... who knows what gonna happen.

He nodded and walked out from his house before getting in his Mercedes and driving away to the city center. During his road trip, he got a message from Everest about Rubbles' location, and that's when an idea came to his mind as he took his phone and called his chief.

Chase: Nathan?

Chief: Sargeant Chase? What's new?

Chase: I'm going to Rubble to find more info about Connor, I've got the location. Will bring the info after having a chat with my old friend.

Chief: Good idea, wish you luck, over!

When the call was finished, Chase drove faster - there was no time to waste as he remembered that the only good moment to talk with Rubble was lunch time. And even despite that it was only 9 a.m in the morning, there was a fear that he won't have another chance.

3 hours later

As the police officer found the construction site where Rubble was working, he already drank some coffee, ate a sandwich and as soon as he spotted his old friend, he went to him.

Chase: Rubble!!

Rubble: Chase? Is that you?

Chase: Shoot, we've both changed lot eh?

Rubble: Man... I missed you!!

The builder pulled Chase into hug which the anthro Shepherd accepted, but when they broke it, he mometally showed the anthro Bulldog his badge, causing him to gulp in fear.

Chase: No worries bud, I wanna talk.

Rubble: Oh, finally you're gonna teach this crazy girl a lesson?

Chase: Ehh, you mean your girlfriend?

Soon Chase and Rubble were in Chases' car.

Chase: The police is solving the case with disappeared babies. Skyes' one also got in this.

The constructor looked at the window and saw a girl which looked like similar to his girlfriend causing him to sit in shock.

Chase: Is it her?

Rubble: Wait... no. It's not her, but she looks similar as my girlfriend.

Chase: Well, it's my chance to deal with your issue.

Rubble: Sure!

Then boys got out and walked to the girl.

Roxy: Name's Roxy - I'm Sweeties' cousin.

Rubble: The cousin of my girlfriend??

Roxy: Erm, yes.

Rubble: Shit, what nonsense did she tell you about me?

Roxy: She told me that she breaks up with you and takes all of your money.

Chase: What?? This money doesn't even belong to her.

Roxy: She loves rich things and she found a guy who can afford her needs. His name was Connor as I remember.

Chase: Connor???

Suddenly the police officer took his phone and showed a photo of the suspect.

Chase: This one?

Roxy: Errr... yes!!

Chase: Nice. Both of you are coming with me, now!

Roxy: I actually wanted to talk with Rubble, alone.

Chase: I'll let you do so after little chat at NYPD. Your info is very valuable.

Roxy: Oh ok!

Then the trio managed to get in Chases' car and drove to the police department.
