The next day after Chase met Everest and got very useful info about their suspect, he drove to police HQ as quick as possible to handle that info to Nathan. Gladly his chief was in his office already, so when he heard a knock, he allowed the intruder to come in - of course this intruder was Chase if you thought otherwise.

Chase: Mornin' Chief.

Nathan: Ahh, morning Chase! Wanna have some coffee? It's pretty early right now.

Chase: Maybe later, I've got some info about Connor! Here!

Then the anthro Shepherd put his notebook with Everests' text on table as the Chief picked it up and read the text - by his face expression, Chase could tell that Nathan was impressed and surprised. After reading all notes, he got up and walked up to our policeman.

Nathan: Well, that's a big step forward for us! Go to Joey, he may use CCTV footage to find these guys who know about Connor and his dirty deals.

Chase: Roger!

Nathan: I'll still be in my room after making coffee for you.

Chase: Ohh, it's nothing, I might do it by myself.

Nathan: Heh, if you say so. Get to work!

Chase nodded and walked away from Nathans' cabinet to one of his teammates. Joey was also in HQ with two cups of coffee in his hands while walking to his room, then Chase caught him up and grabbed one of cups.

Chase: Sup!

Joey: Oh hey bud! How's it going?

Chase: Listen, I need some footage.

Joey: All ears! Which and when?

Chase: Quite doesn't matter when, matters which. Near coffee shop at Queens hood.

Joey: Mmm... ah! I got which one you mean! Let's go!

Soon the duo were at CCTV room where they could see all footages of all cameras around New York. While Joey was searching for current camera, the anthro Shepherd managed to understand why Joey was involved in supersquad - he was master of working with cameras and surely knew them very well - his teammate actually confirmed it.

Joey: If you didn't know, I managed to find all blind zones of all New York cameras, making our chief shocked. That's how I got into this special team.

Chase: I actually thought about it. 

Joey: Riight, here's the camera you were looking for. Here's the coffee shop, and a corner at the right side, but jeez, this angle is crap!

Chase: Can you get me 2 week old footage?

Joey: Yup.

Few moments later, they've got their picture, where they saw a guy walking with child and some guys at the corner.

Chase: I need these guys at corner!

Joey: On it!

It took 2 minutes to identify the guys as their profiles appeared on other screen. Chase looked at them and found out that they were had problems with the law before because of smuggling. If they wanted to find out where was Connor, they needed to find one of these guys.

Chase: Who of our guys can track them down?

Joey: Ask Danny about that, he's our hacker!

Chase: Thanks man, and for coffee too!

Joey: Anytime dude! Remember, we also can shoot hah, so call us if you need backup!

Chase: For sure!

10 minutes later

Chase and Chris were driving to Brooklyn as Danny gave them an info about one of the guys who Joey found on CCTV - the guy named Harry was standing in queue for newspaper, wearing yellow shirt and dark pants. Both of policemen were having a gun with them - in case if their suspect will cause a threat.

Chris: Remember, play it cool, no need to shoot at him immideately.

Chase: I bet you didn't read my CV.

Chris: Ah, sure, none of caught suspects were injured by gunfire from you!

Joey: Keep your heads down, you're 1 minute away from him, he's close!

Soon the duo found Harry as Chris got out from Chases' Mercedes and walked up to the suspect - and just when he introduced as a policeman, the suspect started running away. Chase drove after him and managed to stop him at the crossroad with getting out of the car and tackling down.

Harry: You have no rights to arrest me!!

Chase: Ease up! I need some info about your friends!

Harry: Awww shit! They went for smuggling again! Connor is surely a bastard.

Chase: What do you mean??

Harry was about to say something, but then shots were fired and hit Harrys' knee, making him scream. Chase quickly got him in his car as Chris ran up to him.

Chris: Drive to the hospital!! I'll call chief!!

Chase: Careful out there!

Chris nodded and Chase drove away - their suspect turned into witness, but why? What does he know about Connor?
