Jade POV

Looking at my reflection in the full length mirror I could hardly believe this day was finally here. So many times on this journey I had thought we wouldn't make it but here I am ready to walk down the aisle and marry the man who captured my heart before I was free to give it.

As I smile to myself Kayden attaches my veil and straightens it out "perfect" she smiles "you look beautiful, Roman is going to be blown away"

"Thank you" I say fighting off tears not wanting to ruin my make up "I know we didn't start things the right way but I truly believe this is how it's supposed to be"

"That man is your happily ever after" she smiles "I'm glad you found him, this is the happiest I have ever seen you, even Damian can't make you smile this wide" she chuckles

"I heard that and no one can make her smile like I can, it's a unique talent that only I possess" Damian shouts through the door

"Oh hush it's a different kind of smile when you're in love" Kayden snaps back making me laugh

"She loves me don't you Jade" he calls back

"Of course I do but not the way I love Roman" I laugh

"You know what your problem is Mr Priest it's been too damn long since you got laid" Kayden says "you need a woman......badly"

"How dare you!" Damian gasps "I'll have you know that I'm sexually satisfied"

"Your hand and a tube sock don't count" she says and I find myself laughing that hard I'm struggling to stay standing

"Oh and I suppose that toy of yours does huh?" He says "you do
know that real dicks don't vibrate right?"

"Fuck you D" she laughs

"Guys can we not, it's my wedding day and I can't walk down that aisle laughing" I plead

"Yeah D stop making her laugh" Kayden shouts

"Don't you be pinning all this on me, you started this shit" he replies

"Ok I'm ready let's do this" I say taking a deep breath and walking towards the door with Kayden behind me.

When I open the door Damian beams at me and I swear he's tearing up at the sight of me, he offers me his arm and I link my arm with his and he leads me to the start of the aisle.

"You look beautiful cariño" he whispers "sorry about before"

"Don't be, it's why I love you guys so much" I smile and he chuckles.

The music changes and we start walking down the aisle, the second I see Roman waiting for me looking handsome in a suit I can no longer hold back the tears.
A huge smile crosses Roman's face as he watches me walk towards him, when we reach him we stop and Damian turns to kiss my cheek softly before passing my hand to Roman.

"Who gives this woman to marry this man?" The priest asks

"I do" Damian says "you take care of my girl" he says and Roman nods

We face each other holding hands as the priest begins the ceremony, as we look at each other Roman mouths "I love you" and I mouth "I love you too"

"Ok Roman would you like to say your vows" he says

"Jade I knew the first moment I saw you that I needed you to be a permanent fixture in my life. I know our story isn't conventional and we started off the wrong way but I don't regret a single moment I've spent with you. I fell head over heels with that first kiss, and I knew I couldn't let you go. You've made me happier than I have ever been, you've given me a beautiful daughter and unconditional love that I'm sure at times I don't deserve. I stand here today and vow that I will be by your side through thick and thin, I will love you for as long as there is a moon and stars in the sky"

Swallowing hard I wipe a tear from my eye and compose myself before I speak

"Roman I've always believed things happen for a reason, we didn't start the right way but I believe this is how it's supposed to be. I believe I was meant to see you that day, that it was always you I was meant to be with. I love you more than I have ever loved anyone in my life, our daughter is a beautiful example of the love we share and I can't imagine not having either of you in my life. You've shown me what it's like to be truly loved and like you I don't regret a single moment with you. We have so many more moments ahead of us and I can't wait to share them all with you my love, my hercules, my everything"

With our families and friends watching on we exchange rings with tear filled eyes.

"Roman and Jade with the exchanging of vows and rings you have declared your love for one another in front of your loved ones, and it gives me great pleasure to pronounce you husband and wife" he says as the guests begin to clap "Roman you may now kiss your bride"

"Yes sirrr" Roman says closing the gap between us and pressing his lips to mine in a soft loving kiss.

"I love you Mrs Anoa'i" he whispers as he holds me close

"I love you too Mr Anoa'i" I smile

I guess it just goes to show sometimes doing the wrong thing turns out to be the right thing, that was definitely the case for Roman and I.
