DeLora was in danger.
Henry had been acting weird with DeLora and it all made sense. It was sort of obvious but never did it occur that he was going to do something like this.
Though I don't speak much to her or any girl really, no girl should ever be taken advantage of.
The boys cared about her deeply and she was part of the group now so it was sort of my responsibility to make sure nothing happened to her.
He entered my room, shut the door and locked it. I knew what his intentions were and I was not going to let him fulfill them.
He really wants to take advantage of a girl who was passed out.
Not happening.
I walked over to the door and pulled out my wand. I said quietly, "Alohamora."
The door unlocked and I opened the door. I saw Henry near DeLora and was slowly taking off the blanket that was covering her while having a drunk smirk on his face. DeLora was still sleeping peacefully, poor girl didn't know what was happening.
Anger rose in me as I snapped, "Can I help you with something, Henry?"
He froze in place as I walked over to him and pulled him away from the bed by his shirt.
Luckily, DeLora was still peacefully sleeping as she cuddled up to the pillow. She looked angelic and innocent.
She had already gone through so much recently, it was heartbreaking honestly.
I slammed Henry up against the wall and held him up by the collar of his shirt. He freaked out, "Look Sirius it's not-"
"Shut up! Trying to take advantage of someone being passed out? Very pussy of you to do that," I hissed as I tightened my grip on his collar.
He suddenly got angry when I called him a pussy, "It's none of your business anyways on what I wanted to do!"
"When it involves her, it is my business!"
What did I just say?
Henry snorted, "Well isn't that a surprise? Sirius Black caring about someone who isn't one of his little boyfriends."
I kneed him on the groin, making him fall to the floor and groan in pain. He held his groin as I kneeled down and pulled him by his hair to make him look up at me.
I said menacingly, "I'm only telling you this once so listen very closely. You're gonna leave and act like nothing happened. You will also stay away from DeLora and if you don't, I will kill you. Understood?"
He didn't respond so I pulled harder on his hair, making him hiss in pain. I threatened, "Answer me! Do you understand?"
"Y-Yes!"
I let go of my grip on his hair and hummed, "Good. Now get out."
He slowly stood up and I watched him walk out of my room in pain. He turned to me and grumbled, "You're going to regret this, Black."
I only glared at him as he then left my room. I slammed the door shut and locked it so no one else came in. I heard a soft groan, "N-No..."
I turned around and DeLora was moving around the bed with a frown on her face. Sweat formed on her forehead as she tiredly whimpered, "Mom, dad..."
She was having a nightmare.
I walked over to her and removed the blanket from her so she didn't overheat as I crouched down next to her. I moved her hair away from her face as she gripped the pillow tightly and scrunched her face.
Tears started streaming down her face as she cried softly, "I-I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."
Seeing her in pain was difficult to watch. She put up a front to everyone, acting like she was ok and strong. Though I knew it was a façade, I thought it was brave of her to do that.
How do you put up that front after losing your parents? How do you cope and deal with it? How do you move on with life without your parents?
I can understand her in that sense about losing parents. I haven't talked to mine in a long time, they cut me off. The whole family did but it was different for her.
Her parents loved her and they were dead. Mine cut me off and were still alive.
I silently watched as tears streamed down her face. I took my finger close to her cheek, catching her tear and wetting my finger. She whimpered, "D-Don't leave me..."
Her cries were heartbreaking. It was painful watching her suffer in her sleep, though I didn't want to wake her up.
I softly touched her cheek, which was covered in tears and feeling hot. I stroked her cheek and continued wiping away her tears as she slowly began to calm down. Her breathing was going back to normal pace and her face softened.
Her lips slightly parted as she let out small breaths, she was sleeping peacefully once again.
I sighed and stoped stroking her cheek as I got up once again and pulled the blanket over her.
I observed her sleeping, peaceful state. How long had she been having nightmares? And what exactly were the nightmares?
To extent, it included her parents. Probably their deaths even. But even then, she didn't witness their deaths.
There must be more though.
No longer in the mood to go back downstairs and enjoy the party, I wanted to make sure no one else entered my room so I decided to get some rest for the night.
Getting out of my clothes and changing into my sleepwear, I made sure DeLora was still asleep so she didn't see anything.
Finally, I laid down in my bed and rested for the night. Looking at DeLora one last time, I fell into a deep sleep.

The sun hit my face, making me groan in tiredness and my eyes slowly opened. However when I opened my eyes, my head started hurting immensely making me hiss.
I mumbled, "Fuck my life."
Oh yeah, I was hungover big time and was now suffering the consequences. Luckily, I distinctly remembered what happened towards the end of the night and where I was currently at right now.
I was laying in Remus' bed, still in the clothes from last night but my shoes were off.
Some fun night it was indeed. Probably was embarrassing for me though.
I slowly sat up on the bed as I rubbed my eyes. My head was still pounding but there wasn't much I could do. The boys were peacefully sleeping and I could see Remus and James sharing a bed. Peter and Sirius were sleeping in their own beds.
Looking over at Sirius, my eyes widened at the sight. Wearing only his sweatpants, Sirius upper body was exposed, a very toned upper body. He was peacefully sleeping with his hands over his body and his hair was in his face.
Sirius was so beautiful and I was sure he knew that. I blushed because of it.
Something drew me to Sirius, could it be his looks or his cold demeanor? I don't know but I was drawn to him.
Weirdly enough, I dreamt of him. He was different in my dream; comforting and nice. Real life Sirius wasn't known to do that stuff and he obviously wasn't going to do that to me.
It was weird.
Sirius began moving around slowly on his bed as I quickly turned my attention away from him. He was waking up and I tried to not stare at him as he sat up on the bed.
I quickly peeked over at him as he looked over at me. I turned a bit red and looked down as I said quietly, "Goodmorning."
He hummed as he got up from the bed, "'Morning."
I didn't think he was going to respond back since he barely says 2 words to me. To hopefully continue a conversation, I said, "Sorry about knocking out in here. Remus-"
He cut me off as he grabbed his towel, "It's fine don't worry about it. Drink some medicine for your hangover."
Before I could respond back, he walked out with the towel in his hand. I blinked a couple of times, trying to process our 2 sentence conversation, the most I had ever spoken to him.
It was a surprise but I knew to not push it more or bug him, especially with how he was. I think he was slowly getting used to me being around him and the others.
Maybe we'll talk more at some point.
I heard a groan as I looked over and Remus woke up, stretching his arms out and groaned, "Oh fuck... my head..."
He looked at me smiled tiredly, "Goodmorning, sleeping beauty."
I blushed at the nickname, "Morning."
Remus looked over at James and shook him, "Wake up, you ass. It's breakfast time."
James grumbled tiredly, "5 more minutes... please..."
"C'mon mate, it's 11am. Breakfast ends soon. Peter! Wake up!"
I heard Peter groan and slowly wake up as well. I reached down to grab my shoes so I can go back into my room and Remus asked, "Where's that dog at?"
Dog? What dog?
I gave him a confused look, "Dog?"
I saw a bit of panic in his eyes as he nervously said, "I mean Sirius... we all call him a dog. It's just a nickname."
"Uh... ok. He left like 2 minutes ago and I assume he went to the showers since he took a towel with him," I told him as I stood up from Remus' bed with my shoes in my hand as the rest of the boys got up.
I turned bright red when all of them stood in their boxers and t-shirts, making me look down and comment, "You could've at least told me to look away or something."
James laughed, "We're just in boxers."
"Yeah but it's underwear."
"Nothing wrong with that, well unless you do it then it's wrong," Peter shrugged.
I changed the subject so the boys can get ready, "Anyways I'll see you guys at breakfast. And uh Remus..."
He hummed and I smiled, "Thanks for taking care of me last night, I really appreciated it."
He smiled back, "No problem. See you in a bit."
I left the boys room and headed to my dorm to get dressed and eat breakfast.

I took a bite of my eggs as I sat with the boys at the Great Hall for breakfast. It was the weekend so we were in our casual wear.
I was sat in between Remus and James with Peter and Sirius in front. I chatted with the 3 boys as usual but Sirius was silent and listening. I don't try to include or force him to talk but I hope he doesn't think I was being rude.
The conversation shifted and the topic was now about the people in our school, specifically who we found attractive or crushes.
James commented, "You guys already know who I like."
Remus rolled his eyes, "Yeah poor Lily, creep."
I giggled, "She's a sweet and pretty girl I don't blame you for it."
"Does that mean you'll put in a good word for me to her?" he asked excitingly.
I snorted, "Ha, no."
"Oh c'mon!" he groaned.
Out of nowhere, we heard a bubbly loud voice, "Hi guys!"
Kristina Harris, year 5 Gryffindor and an overall... interesting girl. She was nice and bubbly but it was too much for me personally.
I never conversed with her much, mostly because I found her quite irritating. She can be a little catty and have a mean girl attitude.
We all greeted her back as she looked over at Sirius, who completely ignored her existence. She greeted with a flirtatious smiled, "Hi, Sirius."
She was one of the many girls who consistently tried to get Sirius' attention but to no avail. A clear example of delusion at its finest.
He ignored her as she continued, "So Sirius I was wondering-"
He coldly cut her off, "No, please leave me alone."
She whined like a child, "Oh come on-"
James rolled his eyes, "Kristina leave Sirius alone, he's not going to give you or any other girl the time of day so go."
"That's not fair! He gives DeLora attention so I don't see why I can't just talk to him." She complained, turning to me with a glare.
She thinks he gives me attention? He can't even look at me for more than 5 seconds. I don't even know why I was catching attitude from her when we don't even talk.
I mumbled under my breath so she wouldn't hear me, "Annoying bitch."
The boys chuckled a bit, even Sirius.
She huffed when she got no response from anyone, "Fine I'll go."
Putting her hand on Sirius' shoulder, she giggled, "I'll see you later."
He scoffed and pushed her away, "Fuck off."
She then walked away, giving me one last glare. I questioned when she was out of ear-shot, "What a fucking parasite. What the fuck is her problem with me anyways?"
Peter shrugged, "Probably cause you hang around us now. She feels threatened."
I took a sip of my orange juice, "By what?"
"Your beauty, of course," Remus complimented, making me choke on my drink.
I coughed a lot and very loudly, catching everyone's attention as Peter patted my back and grabbed a water and handed it to me.
The boys, except Sirius, laughed as I drank the water to take away the tickling sensation in my throat that was making me cough a lot.
The coughing fit went away after I drank the water and I calmed down. The boys were still giggling, making me glare at them.
How embarrassing.
Remus laughed, "You good, love?"
"Piss off, you did that just to get a reaction out of me."
"No I'm being serious. You're a very beautiful girl, am I right boys?"
James and Peter nodded and Peter commented, "Very."
I blushed a bit and looked down as Remus asked, "Don't you think so Sirius? DeLora is beautiful, yes?"
My eyes widened and I looked up at Sirius, who took a bite of his food.
Did he just ask Sirius for his opinion of me? Why does he care about his opinion? I don't think Sirius was fond of me, but he at least tolerates me.
But I was curious, kind of. He was beautiful himself and I was clearly not on the same level as him. He didn't get with any girl at school and many girls wanted to get at him desperately, but no luck.
Sirius looked at me and observed me. I stayed silent, worried and nervous about what he would say. I shouldn't be but I was.
Something shifted in his eyes, they were more lighter and softer which was a first. He bit his lip, trying to conceal his smirk and didn't say anything but based on his look I got my answer.
My eyes widened and I turned bright red, making me look away from him. I can't believe he did that and it made me happy.
I felt butterflies in my stomach as Remus chuckled, "See even Sirius thinks so."
He thought I was beautiful. I never considered myself to be, cute maybe but beautiful? Never crossed my mind. This boosted my confidence a lot now.
"Thanks," I gave a small smile as I once again looked over at Sirius, who was looking back at me as well.
He still had the soft, light look on his face and it kind of makes me content when I see him like that. It was not often I see him have that look when most of the time, he looked cold and blank.
Maybe he was getting used to me being around him and the rest of the boys.
Maybe.
