"Oh I'm so excited! I'm so glad you're finally joining us DeLora!" Lily said excitingly as all of us started getting ready for the party.

This first week of school flew by, most of us already stressing about assignments and exams. I was stressing as well but I knew it was going to be worth it in the end.

The boys and I had been hanging out a lot more and I had been growing a closer bond with Remus. Our friendship was growing strong and I knew I can rely on him for anything and vice versa.

Rumors had been spreading about Remus and I but it was nowhere near that. I didn't care to address them since it was no one's business.

This party will sure take my mind off the stress and it had been a while since I had fun anyways.

"I don't mean to ask but is there anything between you and-"

I cut Gwen off, "No nothing. It's none of your guys' business anyways. Sorry if it was rude but please respect my privacy."

I really didn't want people in my personal life. As rude as that sounded, they need to know to not ask me personal questions.

Putting on my earrings, I finally finished getting ready and I could hear the music playing in the common room and people cheering and partying.

Let's do this.

"Oh let's go already! I can't wait to drink tonight!"

The girls cheered excitingly as we all walked out of our dorm and headed down the common room. The sound of the music increased as we got closer to the room and I started feeling nervous.

I hope everything goes well.

My eyes widened at the sight of the party. Some people were dancing, while others were relaxing and drinking. It wasn't as crazy as I thought it was.

It looked fun.

"DeLora!" I heard a familiar shout and I turned around and there was Remus and the boys by the fire place sitting on the couch.

"I got you a beer!"

I walked over to them as Remus handed me the beer and smiled, "Look at you coming out of your bubble. And you look great. Like it so far?"

I took a sip of the beer and nodded, "Yeah, not as crazy as I thought. So uh... who got the beer?"

James smirked, "Good 'ol Sirius and I snuck out and stole some of the beers. And some Firewhisky too if you want some of that."

"Oh no I'm good with just the beer but thank you," I smiled.

I took notice of the boys and what they were wearing but my eyes shifted to Sirius, who was sitting on a chair near the fire. He was wearing an all black shirt and black denim jeans and a leather jacket. His feet were kicked up on the coffee table as he drank his beer and ignored us.

Sirius was still acting a bit cold and distant towards me which I didn't mind. I would get the occasional stares from him but not like the really cold, intimidating ones.

Maybe he was getting used to me... or not. I don't know, Sirius was one interesting guy.

Out of nowhere I felt someone sit next to me and wrapped their arm around my neck as they shouted, "DeLora, you made it! And don't you look very good..."

Henry.

I could smell a bit of alcohol on his breath and I didn't like it one bit. I removed his arm from me and stated weirdly, "Uh... thanks."

The boys noticed Henry and they all got annoyed, especially Sirius. I moved away from him as Remus snapped, "Can you fuck off Henry? You're in her personal space."

Henry rolled his eyes, "I'm just being nice."

"Well be nice from a distance so piss off!"

"Listen-"

Out of nowhere, James grabbed him from the arm and pulled him up from the couch. He pushed him off and stated, "Leave Henry."

Henry stumbled a bit and everyone was now watching. Without wanting to make a scene, he grumbled and walked away. He gave me one last look as the party continued on.

"You ok, DeLora?"

I sighed, "Yeah, I seriously don't know what's up with him."

"I'm pretty sure he likes you," James joked.

I rolled my eyes, "Please don't even say that, I can't be bothered by it."

Remus interjected, "Well enough about that, let's party!"

We cheered and took a sip of our drinks and enjoyed the night.

"Woooo!" I cheered drunkenly as I drank my 5th beer.

I was playing beer pong, I think that was the name of the game. Lily showed us the game and it was so fun. I kept losing but drinking made me feel like a winner.

I played with Remus as my partner and we went against Lily and Hilary. We both had one cup Ieft on each side and it was Remus' turn to make the ball into the cup.

Oh I was drunk big time.

"Come on Moony! You got this!"James cheered him on as Peter watched next to him.

Moony? Weird nickname but I can't be bothered to question it because I was having way too much fun.

I haven't seen Sirius but I'm sure he was just minding his business as usual.

My vision was a bit hazy and my balance was gone as Remus made the shot and he got it in.

I yelled, "Oh fuck yeah! Let's go!!!"

We hugged each other as we freaked out over our win. Lily shouted, "One more match?!"

Before I could respond, I fell to the floor due to losing balance. I slurred, "Whoopsie daisy..."

All of them laughed but also looked worried at my disoriented state.

Oh well.

"Looks like someone had enough fun. Come on DeLora, let's get you up and put you to bed," Remus stated as he lifted me up.

I whined, "No..."

He chuckled, "Yes, you need to rest now because tomorrow you're gonna feel like shit."

"Ugh..."

Remus and James lifted me off the ground as I groaned, "I'm fine, I can walk myself."

James and Remus looked at each other and shrugged, "Ok."

They let me go and right away, I fell once again. Everyone laughed, including me, "Ok nevermind help me up."

They lifted me up once again and guided me up the stairs to the dormitories but instead they guided me to the boys side. I said confusingly, "Uh.... w-why am I going this way?"

"Well we're not allowed in the girls side of the rooms so we're just gonna take you to ours. Don't worry, nothing will happen," Remus explained to me as we reached their room.

They opened their door and guided me to one of their beds. Remus helped me lay down and took off my shoes as James asked him, "You're good right? I'm gonna head back down to see if Lily is good."

"Uh... I'm sure she's fine but go be a weirdo I guess. But yeah I'm good from here," Remus answered as he put my shoes on the ground.

I giggled drunkenly, "You like Lily. James and Lily sitting in a tree, k-i-s-"

James cut me off while blushing "Oh shut up."

Remus sighed as he put a blanket over me, "Rest DeLora."

James walked out so it was just now Remus and I. I asked, "W-Who's bed am I on?"

"Mine. Don't worry about it though, I'll just share a bed with one of the boys."

I snuggled onto his pillow as I can smell his scent clearly. Very woodsy and musky, interesting. Remus stroked my head as I said, "U-Umm Remus..."

"Hmm?"

"Thank you, you're a good friend. You're very sweet and kind, like an older brother I've never had," I said tiredly as my eyes started to slowly close.

He smiled, "And you're like the little sister I never had. I care about you and love you a lot... but not in that way though."

I hummed, "I know and same as well... sleepy..."

My eyes were feeling heavy and I couldn't keep them open as I mumbled, "Goodnight..."

"Goodnight, DeLora."

Sleep consumed me, finally getting some rest after a fun and exhausting night.

I took a sip of my 4th Firewhisky as I stared out into the window, enjoying the view of the night sky.

Music was still playing and many were still enjoying their night. It was late already but none of us cared.

I especially didn't care.

"Well DeLora is knocked out in our room, hope you don't mind," Remus stated as he pulled up a chair and sat down next to me.

I hummed, "It's fine."

DeLora.

I don't speak to her or anyone really, except the boys. The boys have been getting close to her and making her a part of the group but I kept my distance.

Nothing against her, I just have my reasons to not open up to people. They have to earn my trust and so far with her, not much.

I knew about her but that was it. From observing her, she was a nice, quiet girl. In a way, she was shielding herself as well from others. There was a lot that has happened to her, especially because her parents were murdered.

But something about her, I can't put my finger on it.

She had been intruding my mind for a bit and it was get annoying honestly. I hadn't mentioned this to the boys because I knew exactly how they were and they won't leave me alone if I told them how I really felt.

"So, what do you think about DeLora? I've been meaning to ask you for a while but now it seems like a perfect time do it," Remus asked as he took a shot of Firewhisky.

I shrugged, "I don't know. Not much-"

I stopped mid-sentence when I noticed someone near the stairs. It was Henry but by the way he was acting, he caught my eye. He was looking around and acting suspicious as he finished drinking his beer and threw it to the ground.

Why was he acting weirder than normal?

Henry was a weird guy. He pissed me off a lot and I don't even talk to him. But something about him was dark and negative. The boys and I didn't interact with him for that reason.

He started going up the stairs and to the dormitories. He was stumbling a bit as he went up the stairs and my gut feeling knew something was wrong.

"Uh... you good?" Remus asked as I ignored him and got up from my seat. I started following Henry, ignoring Remus calling my name a couple of times.

I went up the stairs to the boys dormitories and reached the hallway that led into the different dorm rooms. I kept my distance, hiding from Henry so he didn't notice me.

I watched him reach mine and the boys' dorm room and tried opening the door, but to no avail. The boys and I always locked the door so no one was able to go in. However, we didn't think that someone would try to go into our room.

What was he up to?

Henry looked around, not noticing me, as he pulled his wand out and whispered, "Alohamora."

Wait? Why does he want to enter-DeLora.

DeLora was passed out in our room.
