CHAPTER 10

Nakarating kami sa cliff na yun, it was beautiful. Malapit ng magtanghali kaya kailangan na naming bumaba.

"Wow... mawawala nga ang isang side ng pagkatao ko kung hindi ko to nakita"

Natawa ako sa sinabi niya, mukhang sineryoso nga niya ang part na yun. Sabay kaming bumaba ng speed boat at saka naglakad ng ilang metro.

"It's a cliff... saan tayo dadaan?" He curiously asked when there's no more way to walk for.

I laughed and took off my shirt leaving my swim suit. I saw how he wondered my body, nailang ako pero hinayaan ko na lang.

Hindi na kasi ito part na maabot ng alon, medyo malayo siya sa dagat. Sa totoo lang ay hindi ito ang daan talaga, dalawa kasi to eh. Kaso malayo pa yung isa at hindi ka makakadaan sa falls.

"Hubad ka na" Sabi ko.

Namula ako ng makitang medyo namula ang tenga niya, bat kasi parang ang laswa pakinggan ng ganun?

Napatitig ako sa maskuladong katawan niya ng hubarin niya ang t-shirt niya. Pinilit kong umiwas ng tingin kasi baka sabihin niyang namboboso ako.

"H-halika ka na"

Tumalon ako sa tubig at saka inantay siyang bumaba bago lumangoy, malapit lang naman kasi to eh. Kailangan lang languyin yung lupang nakaharang para makapasok sa loob.

Humawak ako sa lupa ng makarating ako malapit dun, nasa gilid ko lang naman si Sky at nakatingin sa kin.

Tinuro ko ang ilalim kaya napatingin siya dun. "We need to swim down there" Tinapik ko ang lupa. "Sa kabila nito, nasa harapan na natin ang falls"

He look at me seriously. "Isn't it dangerous?"

I laughed and hold his hand and intertwined them. He looked shocked but I just hold his hand strongly.

"Dangerous is fun, and it's funnier if it's perilous"

I smiled at him assuringly. "Don't worry, hindi naman masyadong delekado"

"Let's go?"

Tumabi ka siya kaya nag sign ako ng one to three bago kami sabay nilamon ng tubig. Sabay kaming lumangoy, hindi naman madilim dahil nasa kalagitnaan kami ng araw.

Naghahabol ako ng hininga ng makarating kami sa kabilang dako, napangiti ako sa mukha ni Sky na namamangha sa nakita.

"Well?" I asked him.

He looked at me and smiled genuinely. "It was worth a risk"

Lumangoy ako papunta sa isang malaking bato at saka umahon. Sky was holding a camera, ni hindi ko man lang naramdamang may dala siyang cam. Mukhang water proof.

"Hindi pa tayo tapos, let's go?"

He looked at me curiously. "Hindi pa? I thought here's the best spot. Is it necessary to have this beautiful place? Damn I want to live here"

I roamed my eyes around. Beside the falls is a very big ladder made by a strong trunk. Madami na ngang mga halamang malalaki na nakapalibot rito pero pwede pang gamitin.

Pag umakyat ka dun ay makikita mo ang buong Fantasy Island, and that's the peak of the cliff.

But that wasn't the very very best spot, it still has a secret haven inside this cave.

I laughed surreptitiously when he amazingly get the blue star fish. The sea creatures are so friendly, even the turtle didn't even bother to run when Sky approach it.

He look so hot while looking at the turtle, he also look so cute whenever he slightly pouted his mouth. Damn, bakit ngayon ko lang nakita to?

I've never been admired someone before, maybe because I was blinded with my love for Andrew.

Naglakad ako papunta sa falls, Sky followed me I saw it in my peripheral view.

Hinarap ko siya ng makarating ako sa gilid ng falls, he's not having a hard time walking. Parang sanay na sanay na siyang maglakad ng malayo.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" He curiously asked.

Hindi ako sumagot at saka dumaan sa pinaka gilid ng falls at saka pumasok paloob. Hindi gaano kalakas ang impact ng tubig na nahuhulog sa ulo ko dahil hindi naman gaano kalakas ang tubig. Nakapasok ako sa loob at namangha na lang.

Kahit ilang ulit akong pumunta rito ay ang ganda parin talagang tignan, it was a very nice place.

"Wow" Sky murmured as he took a picture. Sasabihan ko na lang siguro siya mamaya na hindi pwedeng ipakita ang litrato sa publiko.

It was a private island, lalo na ang part na to. No one knows about it and only the member and the one who already visit the long lost shipwreck.

"Isn't it amazing? It was called The Long Lost Shipwreck. It's been decades but that shipwreck remains standing"

He amazingly looked at me. "Wow... I don't what to say it's just so... wow"

Natawa ako at saka umupo sa malaking bato. I looked up and saw the blue sky, my eyes hurt by looking at it. I looked down and saw how the light of the sun reflected the water.

Mabuti na lang talaga at nasa tamang oras kami, the light that comes from the sun makes the whole cave clearly seen. The water is green, there's a water lilies all over, hindi yung matatanda na yung mga maliliit pa lang ba parang dahon na nahulog lang.

It was so greenish blue, hindi din maruming maligo dahil hindi naman gaano karami ang mga water lilies na nagkakalat. It's enough to make the whole cave more beautiful.

"Do you know... there's a tale about this shipwreck"

He looked at me and sat at the nearest stone. "Hmm? Pakwento naman"

I, then imagine how the princes and princesses back then. A wonderful story but has a tragic ending.

"Long time ago, there's a princess named Katherene"

I laughed surreptitiously when I imagine Kath as the princess, and CD was the prince. Hindi siya kumibo at saka nakinig lang.

"Katherene is not so but almost stubborn woman" I chuckled lightly when I describe Kath. "She always wanted to do what she wants, then one day... her father, the king announced that she's gonna marry the only prince in the palace. She's against with it but ofcourse no one can ever betray the kings decision. Little did they know, princess Kath rebel. She leave the Island not knowing where she goes, she used a little boat to run away"

"Then? What happened to her? Did she bring any food just to eat whenever she gets hungry?" He curiously asked.

Nagkunot pa ang noo niya kaya natawa ako.

Cute.

"Nope, she didn't bring anything. She can't, konting oras lang ang kailangan niya para makatakas. She don't have any time to get a food"

"Then what will happen? Is she gonna die because of starvation?" I laughed again ang play my foot on the water.

"Nah... after three days floating in the water she saw an Island. She was desperate to land... she unconsciously swim without thinking"

I heard him gasp. "Tanga ba siya? Mapapagod lang siya kakalangoy kung ganun"

Tumawa na naman ako. Damn... I thought boys won't listen to a prince and princesses stories, he's too excited. Albeit, he's different.

"Chill... let me finish first. So... she swim and swim until she get tired and exhausted, she can't feel her feet anymore but she tried and tried until she drown in the water. She thought it was her end but someone rescued her, the prince of the Island. Prince Dion"

Nakakunot noo siyang tumingin sa akin. "Is it necessary to use your friend name to the story? It sounded weird"

Natawa na naman ulit ako. I keep on laughing because of him, I think he's my clown na.

"Nah... talagang ganun ang pangalan. Isn't it amazing, what a coincidence right? Well I think... reincarnation exist, we can't tell"

"Kaya nga... okay continue"

Natawa na naman ako kasi ang seryoso niya habang nagsasalita. He's curios about the Island's story. Well I guess not every man hates princes and princesses.

"Alam mo bang babaero ang prinsipe na yun?" Natatawang ani ko, a real coincidence... CD is a womaniser too. "At that time, Kath captured Dion's eyes... and heart too. Kath stayed at the palace of the Island, Dion was beyond confuse and irritated. Because Kath is stubborn and she acts like a princess in their palace. But ofcourse love accepts anything, Dion fell for her hard so is Kath"

"Hindi nila alam na hinahanap pala ng magulang ni Kath ang prinsesa, then when they spotted the princess they wanted to take her home but ofcourse the princess doesn't want to. She was too whipped to let go of Dion, she can't live without the love of her life. So when Dion refuse to give the princess, the king declared a war between them"

"Kailangan talaga may giyera? Hindi ba pwedeng usap usap lang?"

"Iba ang panahon noon at ngayon" I said before continuing the story. "Dion is being Dion, he fight back. For his love and for his palace. Pero mas malakas ang ama ni Kath, they were using a gun while Dion's man... using an arrow and fighting face to face using a sword while riding a horse. Kath was confuse, she's trying to stop the war between the two Empire. When she saw how Dion's man died one by one, she get scared. She doesn't want to be with his father anymore, she don't want to marry she doesn't love"

"So Kath find a way to run away with Dion... she maneuver a shipwreck with a help of a pirate, in exchange... a pocket of gold. Nang nasa tubig siya nakikita niya ang lahat ng nangyayari sa isla. She saw Dion fighting against her father's army, Dion wanted to run away with Kath too"

I looked at him and saw how he stared at me intently, nailang ako but I just smiled and continued.

"Nakasakay si Dion sa shipwreck, pero nasundan sila ng sasakyan ng ama ni Kath. The pirate makes a way to hide the shipwreck, pero dahil malaki ito nahirapan sila. Nalibot nila ang buong isla, pati ang Fantasy Island ay narating nila. Then suddenly, the youngest in the shipwreck wanted to lead the way. Alam na lam niya ang daan ng bawat sila, he traveled around the world so he knew"

"Nakita mo yung dinaanan natin?" I asked and he nodded. "Dapat pa yun doon noon, pero dahil sa sobrang tagal na ay naging bato. Yung lupang nakaharang kanina ay wala pa noon, hindi yun masyadong tago. Ang akala nila makikita sila dahil masyadong open pero tinuro ng bata ang waterfalls, then when they entered they're was amazed by it"

Tinuro ko ang shipwreck. "That was the shipwreck they're using" And then I pointed an another shipwreck, yung nasa ilalim ng tubig na hindi gaano kakita. Sky mouth agape because of amusement, his eyes brighten as he look closer. "And that... was the shipwreck used by the king"

"Paano napunta rito ang shipwreck ng hari? Akala ko tago rito?"

"Well... may nakaka-alam din naman kasi sa lugar na to. But ofcourse, the pirates readied for that. They knew anytime soon, they'll spotted them. And as expected, nakita nga sila"

"Walang away ang nangyari sa kanila nung una, they just wanted to get Katherene. And Kath is being Kath, she doesn't want to. But when a big canyon salute in front of their shipwreck, she panicked. Ayaw niyang may madamay, kaya nagpa-alam siya kay Dion. Ayaw ni Dion, so they made a plan. But... the plan shattered when the prince shot Dion in front of Katherene"

"The end"

Lumaglag ang balikat niya. "Dion died? Why would that fucktard died? I thought he love Kath? Why the fuck did he let them hill him?"

I smiled and looked down. "Because of love... of course"

Tumitig ako sa barkong ginamit ng hari. Sira  ito dahil sa canyong ginamit ng pirata.

"Bakit narito ang shipwreck ng hari kung napatay nila si Dion at nakuha na si Kath?"

"The pirate shoot the king's shipwreck. Nagalit ang mga pirata, lalo na at magkaibigan sila nina Dion. Isa sila sa mga tinulungan ni Dion, their shipwreck was own by Dion but he gave it to them so they were so thankful to him but he just killed by a prince who doesn't have a heart. Then... canyon saluted to the king's shipwreck and then... boom! Nahati ang shipwreck, and years passed and it slowly drowned"

Nakakunot noong napatingin na naman siya sa akin. He's really are curious. "What happened to Kath then? She's inside the shipwreck"

Doon nawala ang ngiti ko. "She run away... nakita mo yung hagdanan kanina sa gilid ng falls?" I asked and he nodded. "Umakyat siya dun... and when she realized that, everything and everyone she had were already gone... she felt so lost. Then... she ended her life by jumping off the cliff"

He sighed and get a little stone before playing with it. "Wala talagang forever"

Natawa ako. "There is... if you'll make one"

Tumango tango siya na para bang naiintindihan ako. "If ever... na makuha ko siya, I'll make one... kahit hindi sigurado, gagawa ako ng sarili naming wakas. I would barter my soul to have that forever. Maybe because I only love once... and it didn't change, ilang taon na"

Maybe... forever really did exist. Pero hindi sa lahat nangyayari ang forever na yan, there's a lot of tragedy happened when you're on your way to your forever. There's always a hindrance, stopping you to take the forever you wanted to took.

But... if reincarnation exist, you'll make your new brand new start and have a forever you dreamt of from your past life. And when you already hold the forever... don't ever let go of that, because you might let go the forever you dream. Again.
