"Ugh", you got out of your bed and the bottom of your feet touched the cold, and uncomfortable floor.
You got changed into your work attire and continued to walk down the stairs, still in a tired state.
"Y/n!", your brother exclaimed from the kitchen
"Yes?", you replied yawning.
"I made pancakes"
Your eyes lit up and you quickly sat on the chair.
"Somebody's finally awake", he stated and chuckled.
"Yep!", with that you took a bite," honestly what would I do without you".
"Umm you would probably be eating instant noodles and takeaways every day", he stated.
"No!", you exclaimed," I can cook!".
He raised an eyebrow," what dan you...cook exactly?", he questioned
"Fried rice!", you replied.
"That's the only thing you can actually make", he stated.
"Well that still means I can cook", you replied.
"Mmm, I guess so", he said," anyways, you have to hurry up because you have to arrive at work at 8:30, it's 8:05 already".

You and Gyomei were chatting in the lounge when Mitsuri bursted in.
"Oh, y/n Gyomei!", she exclaimed and have a smile.
"Mitsuri", you smiled back.
"So how is it working here so far?", she asked with curiosity.
"Hmm..it has been very...I guess eventful?", you replied slowly.
"What do you mean by eventful?", she asked.
"Well-"
"Oi average!"
You sighed," what is it asshole?!".
"Get me a drink", Sanemi stated.
"No!", you exclaimed.
"Remember the bet", he smirked which made you visibly angry.
"Ugh fine", you said before walking out to get a drink.

You were walking down a bare hallway," that bastard thinking he can boss me around just because he won a stupid bet", you ranted to yourself loudly," I'll beat his ass".
You turned a corner to where a vending machine is and saw an unfamiliar person.

Have I met her before?

The unfamiliar women turned around and your eyes met.
"S-Shinobu?", you muttered in shock, she was also surprised.
"Y/n!", she quickly walked up to you and smiled,"I can't believe you're here!".
You also smiled," how many years has it been?", you asked.
"Hmm...4 years?", she replied.
"Wow...4 years I haven't seen you, that's insane!", you exclaimed.
"When did you start working here?", Shinobu asked.
"Only about a couple days ago", you replied," I'm still a newbie at this".
She laughed," ara ara its fine", she stated," you'll get used to this".
You both continues to have a long conversation until a loud, seemingly annoyed, voice boomed through the hallway," Ok average where are you!".
You gulped.
"I forgot about his stupid drink", you muttered and quirky dismissed yourself from Shinobu," I'll talk to you later!".

You ran away from the spot,p, hoping that Sanemi wouldn't catch you," whew...".
"H-hey", you were startled by the timid voice.
"O-oh I'm sorry I scared you", he replied, it was the blonde haired boy from the seven sins.
"Oh it's fine", you replied.
He held onto the bars that separated the two of you and gave a little giggle.
"Umm why are you laughing?", you asked slightly cautious.
"Oh it's just that...I-I might actually start to like you", he replied with a grin.
"Oh...that's great I guess"
"N-no not just as a friend", he rested his head against the wall," more than that".

Hell no.

"We've only met once before...what do you mean you already like me?", you questioned.
"W-well, Envy and Lust always talk about you and when they describe you and how cutely you act I can't help but picture it and it makes my stomach feel weird", he explained," I-I don't know why I feel s-such feeling towards you...I-I've never felt like this for a-almost 100 years...", he grinned.
You stayed silent.
"I-I didn't scare you did I?", he asked worriedly," I know it's quite s-sudden because you've only met me once b-but I hope you don't s-see me as a creepy person", he said in a sad tone.
"O-oh no...it's just I'm kind of shocked", you reassured," well...I gotta go...I need to get back to work".
"Zenitsu"
"W-what?", asked.
"My name, Zenitsu", he replied and smiled.
"Alright then Zenitsu I'll be going", you waved.

Zenitsu POV
Lust and Envy are right. She is quite cute and pretty.
She seems quite benevolent as well, she doesn't treat me like dirt, like the other stupid guards did.
I'm glad I got rid of them filthy people.
I might actually warm up to her, but then Envy said that he is already friends with her...I want to be friends with her. I can ask her next time when we meet again, hopefully that'll be soon though.
I can't wait.

"Here's your drink", you threw the can at Sanemi and he caught it.
"Finally, how long does it take for you to get a drink!?", he exclaimed.
"Well, you never said to be quick or anything so I took my time", you replied and smirked.
He gritted his teeth.
"Tryna play smart then are we?", he said in a low and intimidating tone," well I was going to go easy on you"
"Hit me then", you mockingly said.
"Don't worry...I'll make these next three days living hell for you y/n", he said with a grin.
"I'll like to see you try"
