What is this! A dead end?!

Izuku gritted his teeth as the sewer system was blocked off, he turned behind, turning on his flashlight. Under the light, he saw nothing, yet he had his uncertainty.

[Izuku: The best bet right now is to break this wall. But if i do that... I may destroy the function of the sewer...]

Aw whatever! I'll notify them afterwards! SMASH!

Izuku then punched the wall, cracking it open as the debris flew past him. He ran along the path and suddenly got tackled down.

[Unknown: Caught you~]

[Izuku: You thought.]

Izuku then activated his quirk, slamming the ground and jumping upwards, where the thin line space between him and the villain made him kick the villain upwards. He then landed safely and started running once more.

This is weird.... that did not look like the villain just now.... who is that?

[Izuku: One for all. 40%]

Izuku grunted, as he ran forward. He then searched for a ladder with his flashlight. Sorry! Detroit smash!

Izuku then jumped up, punching the roof above him, shattering it to piece as he got out. He then grabbed hold of the edge as he dangled, he pulled himself out to where the public was looking at him. Their movement frozen in place. 

[Izuku: I'm sorry.]

He apologised, dusting himself and groaning.

[Villain: You thought you could run. Buzz. You're wrong.]

The villain spoke as he snapped his finger, flames igniting around Izuku.

[Izuku:Eh..... EVERYONE! GET AWAY FROM HERE!]

He shouted to the public, yet they laugh. He then realised. A illusion..... then this place is...

[Villain: Correct. The same place. You haven't moved much from that spot you know.]

The illusion then shattered, revealing the construction site where him and Shouto separated.

[Izuku: One for all.... 40%....]

Izuku mummers, staring at the villains that surrounded him. Well it's expected. But man. It'll be really convenient if Shouto was here....

[Izuku: DELWARE SMASH!]

Izuku flicked his index finger against his thumb, creating the large force and sending it forward. He then jumped backwards, out of the flames and into a villain, where he punched the villain to the ground with a Detroit smash.

[Izuku: Shoot style.]

Izuku then roundhouse kicked a villain away, another one grabbing Izuku by his arm and slamming against the ground.

[Villain: Incinerate.]

The same villain snapped his finger, fire igniting in Izuku's costume. Izuku smiled as he jumped up, landing on his feet.

[Izuku: Sorry. But this costume is fire-proof.]

Izuku then slid his leg back, propelling himself forward by using One for all towards the flame igniting villain. He then kneed him in the chin, making the villain flinch as he fell backwards.

[Kaji: Hahaha... Now this what makes it fun. Hey. If I was told correctly....]

The flame villain spoke as he stood up, laughing as he looked at Izuku.

[Kaji: You lost your eyesight from on of the emitter user like me right? And it was from flames. Let me make you lose your other eyesight.]

Kaji then ran and grabbed hold of Izuku, tackling him to the wall and tossed him to the side. He then snapped his fingers, huge flames igniting around him.

[Kaji: Let us dance Deku! It will The the most pleasant dance ever!]

Kaji then ran to Izuku, who backflipped and used the pole to rush back at Kaji.

[Izuku: Sorry! But I don't plan on dancing with some villain!]

Izuku then pulled his fist back, Kaji placing his right hand forward with a smile.

[Kaminari: You better not get hit! Indiscriminate charge 2.5 million volt!]

Kaminari then let out a powerful discharge from his body to the villains around him.

[Izuku: Kaminari!?]

Izuku shouted as he and Kaji pushed themselves back.

[Shouji: Not the only one here.] 

Shouji smiles under his mask as he grabbed hold of two villain and threw them, another hero jumping over the two with a scream.

[Bakugou: Who the fuck told you!!! To get involved in this attack!!!? DEKU!!]

[Izuku: Eh!?]

[Bakugou: Howitzer impact!!]

Bakugou shouted as he spun himself with explosions, landing straight down and causing the ground to pole underneath him, sending the villains flying back.

[Kaji: Ooh. A new hero? Hmm.... I don't know you.]

[Bakugou: Get this name deep inside your head, so when you're hospitalised, this name will haunt you. GROUND ZERO!]

Bakugou shouted and have a smirk afterward after clearing the smoke out of his way with his hand.

[Kaji: Ground zero.... hmm. Well. Lets get started then.]

Kaji then ignited flames at Bakugou, to which was countered with Bakugou's explosions. Bakugou then propelled himself forward with his explosions at Kaji, grabbing him by his face and slamming him down to the ground.

Kaji, amidst getting slammed, he thrusted his hand forward and grabbed Bakugou by his costume. He then threw Bakugou aside and snapped his finger while directly pointed at Bakugou, igniting sparks and emerging into flames.

[Bakugou: You got to do better than that!]

Bakugou screamed as he flew past the flames and grabbed Kaji by his orange hair and blasted his chest, sending him back.

[Fuku: Now that isn't safe. Didn't your parents not to play with explosives?]

The same villain, the one with the duplicates quirk said to Bakugou as he grabbed the ash blonde by his wrist and pushed him to the ground.

[Kaminari: Watch him explode....]

The blonde sighed as he electrocuted one villain, Shouji agreeing as well. Meanwhile, Izuku hopped from one wall to another, increasing his speed and taking down villains one by one.

[Bakugou: Oi..... You dare to make me be below you.....]

Bakugou then lifted his hand, pulling the pin from the Grenadier Bracers, causing a massive explosion right in Fuku.

[Izuku: Kaachan scary!]

[Bakugou: Shut up!]

The two heroes' back touched, surrounded by villains. The other two were currently busy dealing with other villains and was not looking well overall.

[Izuku: Kacchan. Remember when we fought All Might?]

[Bakugou: Huh....? Of course. Teaming up with you was the worst thing ever.]

[Izuku: Then.... You will hate this even more.]

Izuku and Bakugou grinned, the ash blonde pulling his final pin from his Grenadier Bracers while Izuku flicked all four of his fingers, causing a massive explosion and wind impact flying.

[Bakugou: DEKU!]

Bakugou shouted as the two jumped away, Bakugou tossing one of his improvised grenade at Izuku.

[Bakugou: Pull the pin and throw it down!]

He ordered as he used his explosions to hover over the air, Izuku nodded and threw the grenade down.

[Izuku: Anyway Kacchan. What was in that grenade?]

Izuku asked before the grenade exploded.

[Bakugou: A normal grenade, mixed with other ingredients to make it more powerful and deadly.]

[Izuku: Doesn't that mean... UARGH!]

Izuku screamed as he got blown away by the huge explosion. Bakugou had a smug smile as he saw Izuku fly.

[Kaji: Don't take your eyes off the battle.]

Kaji whispered into Bakugou's ear in mid-air and sent him down to the ground. Igniting flames right into Bakugou, the orange haired adult kept igniting flames until Bakugou had enough.

[Bakugou: Oi. That's getting annoying you know.]

Bakugou growled with a black face, lifting both his hands and creating a massive explosions that blew Kaji far away into the sky. Bakugou chased after him, grabbing him by his collar and kneeing him with his deadly knee pad on Kaji's face.

[Bakugou: DIE!!!]

As Bakugou dug his knee deeper into Kaji's face, the orange haired adult was sent crashing into the construction site hard. Bakugou smirked as he landed on the ground, his aura dark.

[Shouji: As always. Reckless.]

[Kaminari: You know it.]

Kaminari let out a electrification wave everywhere, Shouji hitting every villain out of his way.

[Izuku: That sent me far Kacchan! Seriously. What was in that grenade?]

Izuku asked as he came running back with One for all activated.

[Bakugou: Shut up. We need to defeat the villains. The numbers are reducing drastically. Until then, keep up.]

Bakugou ordered as he walked in front, creating explosions and running straight into the villains with a shout.

[Izuku: Well..... DIE!]

[Izuku: Phew.... we finally got them all. Please dispatch police officers. We have a lot of villains captured. Our location is at a construction site near jescap building.]

[Bakugou: Stop. Or I'll blast your head off.]

Bakugou placed his hand on one of the villain's head as the villain had his quirk activated, the villain complied.

[Bakugou: How long till they arrive?]

[Izuku: Five minutes at max.]

[Bakugou: Well until then.... who sent you?]

The ash blond male asked, the villain only smiled and burst out laughing.

[Villain: As if I'll tell you that.]

[Bakugou: Ah is that so? Then how about I disintegrate you with my quirk?]

Bakugou threatened as he created explosions on his palm, the villain kept laughing.

[Villain: Too bad. Smoke!]

A smokescreen appeared in front of the four heroes, their eyes widen as they jumped into the smoke to catch the villains but all they caught was the loosened ropes.

[Bakugou: DAMNIIIIT!!!!!!]

[Shoji: I don't hear anything..... they got away....]

[Kaminari: Are you serious.... you mean all we did was in vain?]

All we did to capture the villains went to waste, when I went to Ashido's house, the lights we all off and I couldn't see Kirishima nor Ashido herself.

Izuku carefully made his way inside the house, turning the lights on and walking slowly and steadily while making minimum sound.

[Mina: Surpirse!]

Mina shouted as she jumped up in front of Izuku with a smile.

[Izuku: Eh?]

Izuku replied in confusion, Kirishima emerged from the other room with a smile that was meant for Izuku.

[Kirishima: Congrats Midoriya. We became a pro hero. We are all over the news, saying how we maybe the two youngest heroes to become a pro hero in such a short period of time.]

[Izuku: EH!? So fast!?]

Izuku exclaimed, his excitement overwhelming him as tears dropped down.

[Izuku: Ah need to call my mother! Ah wait..... we have to celebrate as well. I'm calling all our ex-classmates. Uh.... there is one restaurant where it's super good!]

[Both: Calm down Midoriya.]

[Kirishima: Anyways. I called them just now. Although Bakugou, Shouji, Kaminari and Todoroki didn't pick up.]

[Izuku: Ah..... on second thoughts.... let's not celebrate. I'm tired from working today as well. Guess adrenaline got me.]

Izuku replied with a smile as he walked upstairs, Kirishima looked at him. Did something happen?

[Kirishima: Did something happen?]

Kirishima asked as he entered their room, seeing as how the lights were off and Izuku covering himself with his blanket, the redhead knew something went wrong.

[Kirishima: It's a joyous occasion for us. Don't be gloomy Midoriya. At this time, you need to smile.]

Kirishima advised. Izuku closed his eyes and breathed shakily.

[Izuku: Kirishima. I.... caught the villains with three of them. Kaminari, Shoji and Kacchan.... but we let them get away. They were right in front of us, but we let our guard down!]

Izuku shouted at the last part, Kirishima sighed deeply he then proceeded to cross his arms.

[Kirishima: It doesn't matter now. What's done is done, but we can always catch them again and again. No matter how many times, because we are heroes. We don't go out on the street and impress people with our names, but with our actions!]

[Kirishima: So cheer up idiot.]

[Mina: Ready to go!?]

Mina exclaimed, dressing wonderfully she looked at the two guys and their sense of fashion disappointed her greatly. What.... just what are you guys wearing....?

Nevertheless, she didn't question them and instead went out.

[Kirishima: Where are we going?]

The redhead asked, Mina only smiled and placed her finger on her lips.

[Izuku: Well... a surprise is good... I think?]

Izuku doubted but continued to walk alongside the couple, a smile spread across his face as they brought up the old days when they first joined Yuuei.

[Mina: And you know. I was so surprised when I saw him dyed his hair! I was so used to seeing him in black hair, not red!]

Mina laughed, Kirishima groaning. Izuku gave a small laugh while covering his face with his hands, he removed them and saw Uraraka in front of them, waving.

[Mina: Uraraka!]

Mina exclaimed as she ran and jumped in happiness, Uraraka doing the same. Izuku smiled, looking at Kirishima who gave the same reaction.

[Kirishima: Congratulations on becoming a pro hero, Krishima!]

Uraraka said with a smile, Kirishima smiled back and looked at Izuku. What are you doing?
Izuku knew what Kirishima's face expression said, yet he decided to ignore it.

[Uraraka: Ah you're the hero deku right? Congratulations as well. You guys worked really hard to become pro hero!]

[Both: Thank you.]

[Mina: Enough. Lets get going. I received a text, everybody is there. So let's hurry up! What pro heroes arrive late?]

Mina said as he tugged Uraraka's arm and pulled her, Kirishima and Izuku running ahead, their jackets flapping against the wind.

[Izuku: Sorry we're late.]

[Kirishima: Sorry.]

The two males apologised as they entered with the girls to a barbecue restaurant, the two male removed their jackets and hung it at the hanging rack as they sat with their friends.

[Mina: Tsu.]

Mina happily called Tsuyu's name and made her way towards the green haired female. Uraraka looked around for Bakugou, however, he was nowhere to be found. I guess he's not coming....

[Izuku: Sorry Todoroki. I should have contacted you earlier.]

[Shouto: It's okay. I don't mind.]

Todoroki replied as he took a sip of his water, he then pulled out a small box from his bag and handed it over to Izuku with a smile.

[Shouto: Congrats.... on becoming a pro hero.]

[Izuku: You shouldn't have. But, thank you.]

[Iida: It's a joyous occasion. Isn't it, Midoriya?]

The green haired male nodded his head, the two old friend started to talk about their life. Uraraka looked at them, feeling down yet determined for what reason. A bright flash made her blink her eyes before a old memory came up, two boys, her old friend from Yuuei.

One of them was Iida, another one had green hair, but his face was blurred out. Uraraka covered her eyes with her hand and removed them, blinking her eyes a few times. Eh? What was that.....

She questioned, she stated at Izuku, seeing the same hair colour. How was that... why wasn't Bakugou with us. Why was he replaced with someone else?

[Uraraka: Deku...?]

[Tsuyu: Is something wrong ochako?]

[Uraraka: Huh? Uh nothing's wrong Tsu. Thanks for worrying.]

Uraraka smiled. Deku? The hero Deku who became a pro hero, does he have the same name as the hero? Who are you....?

[Bakugou: What's wrong? Something happened to you?]

Bakugou, who just arrived asked Uraraka who was standing, he placed his hand on her head.

[Bakugou: If there is. After the celebration, you can talk to me. I'll help you.]

He whispered into the brunette's ear and walked away, towards Kirishima and threw him his present at his face.

[Kirishima: What was that about?]

Kirishima questioned, putting his gift away.

[Bakugou: Congrats shit-for-hair. But I'll destroy you and become number one the moment I become a pro hero as well. Remember that well, Red Riot.]

Bakugou smirked, making Kirishima smile. Well I'll be waiting. For you to surpass me, for me to chase after you, to see if you can really become number one!

[Hagakure: Okay guys! Hold up your drinks! Cause we will be toasting to our friends, Midoriya and Kirishima!]

Hagakure, the invisible girl shouted while holding up her drink, beer. Now at the legal age to drink, all of them held their drink up and toasted while standing up, everyone's glass clinking against one another's.

[Izuku: Ah I'll be out for a second.]

Outside, Izuku breathes out shakily. I should have brought my jacket out.... it's almost winter.... so it's expected to be cold.

[Izuku: All Might... I became a pro hero just like you. I just need to work really hard to be the next number one hero. Until then, watch over me.]

[Uraraka: Excuse me. Your hero name is Deku, and your name is Midoriya Izuku right?]

Uraraka, coming out of the restaurant asked as she approached Izuku. The green haired male looked behind and smiled.

[Izuku: Yes I'm Midoriya Izuku. Is something wrong?]

Uraraka fidgeted with her fingers, breathing out. She started with a [So....]

[Uraraka: I have a question. I remember this name Deku from high school. But.... I'm not sure whether it's the hero name or someone else's name.]

Eh.

[Izuku: Maybe it's someone's name. I chose my hero name because someone changed the meaning of Deku for me. When I was young, my nickname was called Deku.]

Izuku closed his eyes, tilting his head to the side before talking once more.

[Izuku: It meant useless. I was a useless kid. I couldn't do anything. But when I enrolled into high school, someone changed the meaning. It meant, You can do it. I'm indebted to her. Thus, I chose my hero name as Deku, not for weakness but as a motivation and strength.]

Uraraka nodded her head, looking back inside the restaurant, she saw Bakugou drinking and drinking. Why does it warm my heart? To hear him talk about his hero name? Why does it make me happy? What's wrong with me.....

[Izuku: Was it boring?]

Uraraka shook her head.

[Uraraka: It's inspiring. For you to work up the courage to choose your hero name.]

[Izuku: Is that so. I'm glad.  Lets go back, it's cold and we should enjoy ourselves. After all, it's a celebration for two sidekicks to become a pro hero in a short amount of time.]

Uraraka nodded, walking into the restaurant first, she glanced behind to see a sad expression on Izuku's face. Why does that face... remind me of someone.... who I don't remember?

[Izuku: It pains me as always. For our friendship to get broken after building it up for a prolonged period of time.]

[Izuku: Uraraka....]

[Uraraka: Midoriya....]

A hazy memory, a pained heart, a confused mind. Uraraka could only look down at her hand, feeling a warm touch from a long time ago. What is this feeling?

Hello everyone! I'm back! Sorry for the hiatus, I had no inspiration to publish a new chapter. (And school plus homework, plus supplementary class and exams....)

Here is the newest chapter! Will Izuku and Uraraka finally meet each other as old friends, or will they still be distanced due to Uraraka's amnesia?
