Come Find Me
Jungkook's POV:
It was a bright sunny day, perfect for a walk, which was exactly what I was doing currently... except with a familiar beautiful man on my arms. His adorable hand was intertwined with mine, the cold metal ring of his contrasted against our warm embrace. I tried to search for his smile, but all that I could see was a bright haze and the next thing I knew he pointed at a familiar building and dragged me along. Inside he gave me an enthusiastic tour, except when he spoke, only his lips moved. Frustration built up significantly when I couldn't see past his plump lips, couldn't see his undeniably beautiful face, couldn't hear his melodic voice. And then, suddenly it happened.
I heard something. Albeit, it wasn't anything melodic. It was a gut-wrenching scream, which shattered all the glass windows around us. I tried to protect the man but he disappeared. Then I looked around carefully stepping on broken shards. Finally, at the end of the aisle, I found him, sitting in an open tomb. My eyes traveled up his body, only to land on his now visible visage.
“Holy…” the word left my mouth involuntarily as the light from above accentuated his features. He is universally the most gorgeous man I've ever witnessed in my life. His hair were shiny black, so dark that it could swallow my soul, and I'd happily let it happen. Past his flawless forehead, a mesmerising set of eyes shone brightly at me, pinning my attention on them. Fighting against it— partly because I didn't want to lose this chance of seeing his entire face, didn't want to lose the chance of burning it in my brain for the rest of my life— I now gazed at his cute button nose, past that were his tempting lips, his upper lip in a perfect bow shape. The moment his lips turned upward in a smile, same gut-wrenching sound filled the place, making me look around for it's source. Only then I realised it had actually come from right before me. I looked back and the sight took my breath away.
The beautiful, heavenly sight was replaced by horror. His face wasn't shining any longer. Instead it was bloody, as if someone had battered him.
“Come find me” he screamed in agony lastly before more glasses broke above us, showering me in them.

Author's POV:
Jungkook drew a sharp breath in as soon as he woke up from his dream. Several seconds passed before he realised it was just that, but the feelings he felt were too strong. The last words lingered in his mind, compelling him. Determined, he dressed quickly and ran down into the garage. There he found the same car they used a day ago with the key left in ignition. Slowly he pushed the car away from the garage in order to make minimum noise while leaving. Further away from the manor entrance, he started up the car and speeded away on the roads his memory served him.
Several minutes later, Jungkook got down from his parked car and took a deep shaky breath while looking at the cathedral. He was hoping he's right with this. He walked towards the front giant entryway and moved its handle, which unfortunately didn't budge. Sighing while running his hand through his hair, he looked around for other ways to get in. Up on his right, he spotted a huge window which had it's pane open enough for him to slide through. Walking towards the window, Jungkook spotted various uneven bricks which he could use as leverage and raise himself. Doing just that, he easily trespassed inside.
“Shit” he exclaimed as soon as he jumped down the window and felt the extremely chilly air inside. Guiding himself with his memory Jungkook reached the tomb within minutes. Breathing heavily, he touched the intricate carvings on the surface. The designs were extremely beautiful, too cheery to put on a tomb. But he reckoned it was fitting considering the face he saw in his dream.
Walking to a side, Jungkook used all his might to push off the heavy coverstone. After trying for what felt like an eternity but was actually ten minutes, the stone slid away and gave enough opening to peek in. Since it was too dark to see inside, Jungkook pulled out his phone and turned the flashlight on. He peered in and to his utter shock the tomb was…
Empty.
No trace of a skeleton, bones, not even any teeth or dust. It was a clean, uninhabited space.
‘This doesn't make sense’ Jungkook thought to himself. Pushing the stone further aside, he peered in once again, and this time something at the top corner of the underside of the coverstone shone back at him. Reaching in, he pulled the object out. Under the light of his phone, he awed at the tiny ring he found.
“Wow…” Jungkook whispered despite himself. Turning it over and over again, Jungkook found that the ring was a valuable jewel. Something fit for royalty. It had a moon shaped red stone at the top, rusted silverish band with red splotches and he could feel some uneven surface on the inside of the band. Looking even closely, he realised there was some inscription embedded there. Unfortunately, Jungkook had no idea what language it was in.
Pocketing it, he went back to thoroughly inspecting the empty tomb. While he was trying to push the cover further away, his fingertips felt some indentations on the underside of the coverstone. Since Jungkook couldn't physically fit in to peer at the indentations, he angled his phone and clicked several pictures in every indented place. With shaky hands, he went through each picture and realised the coverstone indeed held some inscription right on the middle of it.
Someone for some reason had carved some words inside of the tomb. It felt scary, this whole thing, but Jungkook felt extremely determined to find out what it is. He was almost possessed to do so. Pocketing his phone, Jungkook pushed back the coverstone in place before jumping out the same window he trespassed in. Whilst on his way back, Jungkook couldn't help but look at the moon above, which was almost the same size of crescent as the ring currently resting in his sweatpants.

At the manor, in Jungkook's bedroom:
Jungkook was currently looking at the pictures he took, trying to decipher what language it could be. He moved to look through the old books already placed in his room, hoping it's the same language as those but then his mind clicked that he could just put those pictures through Google lens. Doing just that, he found the translation. It was originally in some old Transylvanian language which is no longer in use. Although thankfully, the internet provided him with the translation, which read:
“Come find me, across the silent water.”
Jungkook was convinced it was an accurate translation since the man in his dream had said ‘Come find me.’ The rest of the sentence was apparently inscribed on the underside of his tomb. Now the questions that arose in Jungkook's mind as he paced around his room were:
‘Who is this man?’
‘He is obviously a spirit of some sort but why does he want me to “come find him” ?’
After some thinking, Jungkook realised the answer to his first question. That man was an ancestor of Taehyung's. Meaning, he's a royal, royal member of the same family that owns the manor he's currently living in. Contemplating some more on that new found fact, Jungkook realised that the man could have been mistreated— largely prevalent in olden times— and what cemented that thought were Namjoon's words about him passing away before his time.
Soon enough Jungkook got tired of pacing around and went towards the window. He placed his elbows on the window sill and gazed out at the lake which reflected the moon and stars. His eyes lingered on the moon's reflection and something clicked in his mind. He leaned back to fish the crescent shaped ring from his pocket. He turned it over and inspected it in better light. He realised that the inscription wasn't so clear because the dents had some dust embedded in them. Jungkook moved to the bathroom swiftly and held the ring under the tap and rubbed it to get the dust off. To his utter surprise, the red jewel on top turned stark white and shone brightly at him. He later found even the red splotches disappeared and the rusted silverish metal made up the whole band's surface. Returning back to his room, he sat at his desk and clicked a picture of the inner inscription under the table lamp. Running it through the same process, he found out that it's in the same script as the coverstone and its translation, and it said:
“You are my destiny.”
Reading it over and over again, Jungkook got disappointed since it didn't relate to what he found on the coverstone. So now he had very less information about this whole matter. He quickly decided to call it night and investigate further tomorrow morning. Moving to his bed, he placed the ring on his bedside table and climbed into bed.
As he fell asleep, a white silhouette appeared near his study desk, a forlorn expression on its timeless visage.
