This story serves as a spin-off/prequel of my Joker fic Paper Planes, but you don't have to read that story to understand this one.

For all my Paper Planes fans, here it finally is! My darling Horton has his own book!!!!

I am so excited to divulge in the origins of Horton & Joker's story, as well as dig deeper into Horton's character in this novel. Within these pages, I will elaborate on the small details & events that Horton reveals in Paper Planes about the Joker, including the story of how he found employment with the madman in the first place, etc.

For those of you who have no idea about Horton & Joker's story, I want to confirm that this story revolves around a henchman who is helplessly in love with his boss. However, due to the events that occur in the first story, there will obviously be no legitimate boy x boy action (this does not exclude dreams/fantasies), as this book mainly will expose Horton's true feelings for Joker as a whole.

In addition, this book will be written in first person, unlike Paper Planes, which is written in third person omniscient. Typically, my go-to is third, but I'm going a bit out of my comfort zone in order to really dig deep into Horton's character. I want to be able to properly expose every thought and every feeling of his in this novel. So, please bare with me, because I'm definitely not used to this style and it'll be somewhat of a struggle!
