SABINA's POV

I kept on squealing as Xzavier chased after me in the water. I swam faster, trying to get away from him but my efforts were futile because he eventually caught me from behind. He buried his face on the crook of my neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Where do you think you're going, huh?" He asked huskily.

"Away from you." I answered, suppressing my smile. We're currently swimming in the lake by his house that's why we were free to shout to our hearts content without anyone hearing us. This was my 2nd time coming here and so far, no one in Safe Haven has noticed me escaping from time to time just to be with Xzavier.

My mom has been asking me to stop sneaking out just to be with Xzavier because she's been worried that I might get caught. But I couldn't stop myself from wanting to be with him. It feels like my day isn't complete without being with him.

"Away from me? And why would you want to get away from me?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "Because I wanted to." I just wanted to tease him a little bit because he's been glued beside me since we arrived here. He picked me up at the waterfalls.

"You're going to regret saying that, my Ina."

I chuckled. "Really? I don't think I would." I then unwrapped his arms from hugging me and then quickly swam towards the lake side. Upon getting out of the water, I then laid down on the picnic blanket nearby, catching my breathe.

I looked back at him and laughed when I saw his expression as he got out of the water, heading towards my direction. He clearly wasn't happy.

"Now, you've really done it."

I grinned mischievously. "And what would you do about it, Mr.?" Instead of answering, he suddenly got on top of me and pinned me down with his body. His arms were on either side of me as he gazed down at me with a lopsided grin.

"Xzav!" I hissed with widened eyes when I felt something hard down there, intentionally making me feel it. "What's that hard thing?!" To my surprise, he laughed heartily and then dipped his head to give me a gentle kiss.

"You're so adorable, my Ina. Your innocence turns me on for some reason. You don't even know how much you affect me just by touching you like this." I couldn't help but blush as I began to feel hot and puzzled at the same time.

"Turns you on? What does it mean?" He chuckled and I pouted. "I'm sorry for being so clueless. I just—"

I shook my head. "No, you're not. I'm eager to learn things that I don't know from you."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yes, as long as it's with you."

He smiled contentedly. "I love how innocent you are but at the same time, you're been giving me a hard time. It's really surprising how I managed to restrain myself until now because everytime you're near, I keep on getting these sinful thoughts about you."

My lips parted. "Sinful thoughts?"

I nodded my head in response and to my surprise, he suddenly laughed. I pouted and pushed him by the chest. "If you're just going to laugh at me, then get off me." Thinking that he's laughing of me because of my lack of knowledge of such things kinda irritated me.

I thought he was going to do so but he didn't. He took my hands instead and then kissed them.

"Sorry, my Ina. I wasn't making fun of you. It's just that I couldn't hold back my laugh because of the word you used."

"Why? I've read about mating before. Did I say it wrong or maybe misunderstood your point? What is the proper word then?"

He placed a finger under my chin and then captured my gaze with his. His face became serious but I could totally see his eyes dancing with mischief.

"It's called 's*x', Ina." I gasped softly. Hearing that word brought me weird feelings within me, especially down there.

"S-S*x?" I swallowed hard. I've never thought that I would be discussing these kinds of things with a man one day. The heat in the center of my being was getting more intense as our conversation went on.

"You don't know what you're asking me, Ina." He was about to get off me but I stopped him by wrapping my arms around his neck. He groaned as if he was having a hard time.

"I know what I want and that's to make love with you right now. Yes, I might be ignorant about this kind of thing but I know for sure that you're special to me. Do you feel the same way towards me? Special enough to make love to me?" Even though it was embarrassing, I had to ask.

He remained silent for a couple of seconds.

"Yes, but—" I placed a finger on his lips. Happiness surged within me.

"Then, no more buts. You've taught me many things already and this time, I want to experience this with you. I want you to make love with me, Xzav. Show me what making love is." I didn't know where did I get the guts to say all those things but I did. When he heard that, the last ounce of his self-control broke.
