SABINA's POV

While we were on the road, going to I didn't know where, our hands were intertwined together and Xzavier was kissing the back of my hand from time to time which secretly made me smile full of giddiness.

"Oh, my! It's beautiful here." I exclaimed while watching the view outside.

"Of course, it's beautiful here. But if you want to see more, we can go to Zurich tomorrow. We don't have enough time to explore the area but at least, we could do sight-seeing before we go home. What do you say, my Ina?"

"Hmmm...I would like that. I haven't been here to Switzerland before so I'd like to explore even for just a short while."

His eyes bored into mine. "Then...we could stay here for at least a week. Switzerland is one of my favorite countries and—" Before he could finish what he was about to say, I silenced him by placing my finger on his lips.

"Thank you for the offer, but I think, this is not the good time. I just started my work at CXM and I don't want to appear like I'm using you to escape work and do what I want to do while my co-workers are busy working their asses off. I mean, it would be unfair to the other employees, Mr. CEO. I'm your girlfriend but I'm also your employee now."

He sighed. "Fùck. Why did I even agree for you to apply there in the first place? Now, we can't even do whatever we want to do because of your schedule."

"Cryxus Xzavier Montaño! You know how much I hate those kinds of words!" I snapped at him and was about to untangle my fingers from his but he didn't let me.

"Shi—I mean, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to curse like that in front of you. It's just that, I can't help but to feel frustrated right now. I wanted to take you somewhere where we could explore and tour around but I think, the timing is not right." He released a breath before letting go of my hand, placed his arm over my shoulders and pulled me to his chest.

"You don't have to feel frustrated. We can always come back here and stay a little bit longer so that we could explore the places we want to visit."

He kissed the top of my head. "Thankfully, we could stay here tonight. I would like to do something very interesting later." I tilted my head to look at his face with an eyebrow cocked up.

"Why do I suddenly sense that you're thinking about something naughty again?"

He grinned from ear to ear. "You really know me, my Ina."

"You're always thinking about those kinds of things! I can't believe you!" He drew his face closer to mine until his lips deliberately touched my ear teasingly.

"Everytime I'm with you, I always think of thousand ways to make you come." He whispered and my eyes almost came out of its socket as my heartbeat paced up. I looked at the driver, getting paranoid that he might've heard him, but he appeared to not hear what Xzavier had whispered to me.

I was about to reprimand him but to my further surprise, his hand began stroking my leg in a teasing manner.

"X-Xzav..." I tried my best to stay calm and gathered myself together. "What do you think you're doing? We're inside the car, for God's sake!" I whisper-yelled at him in not so obvious way so that the driver wouldn't look at our direction through the rearview mirror.

But it seemed like he didn't have any plan of stopping anytime soon so I quickly grabbed my Birkin bag which he gifted to me the other day and placed it on my lap, trying to hide what he was doing to me.

I glared at him but he seemed to be enjoying it and continued with his advances.

"I'm not doing anything." He answered nonchalantly, obviously suppressing a grin. I sneered at him and looked outside, trying to ignore what he was doing, hoping against hope that he would stop if I did that. But the madman escalated his teasing and slipped his hand inside my skirt.

"Xzav!" I looked at him in disbelief as my cheeks began burning. He smirked at me and continued his mission until he found its target.

"Don't you dare." I warned him, struggling not to get drowned into the sea of seduction. His hand stopped and I sighed in relief, thinking that he finally listened but my eyes widened when he proceeded to his target inside my panties and directly touched my sensitive bud.

"Just do it already before we arrived at our destination!" He laughed upon hearing my annoyed voice.

"Really? You're asking me that question now?" I combed my fingers through my hair and fished out my compact mirror from my bag.

"Well, I'm just curious." His voice mellowed as he pressed a button and the partition lifted up.

"I don't want to talk about it." Then, we felt the car come to a halt.

"We have arrived, young master, miss Martins." The driver announced and got out of the car to open the door for me.

"Thank you." I said as I got out. Xzavier was quick to be at my side and snaked his arm around my waist full of possessiveness. I rolled my eyes.

"Are you mad, Ina?"

"Not really." I answered dismissively as we entered that cozy restaurant.

"Really? You're not mad?" I fought the urge to laugh upon noticing the expression on his face while gazing at me.

"C'mon, Ina. Answer me. You're scaring me."

I laughed. "I'm obviously not mad." He finally smiled and kissed me on the forehead.

"I'm glad. Anyway, where is my I love you too?"

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

"I said I loved you when I made you come a while ago but you didn't answer."

I quickly covered his lips with my hand. "Xzav! People might hear you! I love you too, okay?" He removed my hand from covering his lips and now smiling contentedly.

"One more time. You sound like you're just forced to say it."

I huffed. "I love you, Xzav. You know that."

"That's more like it." The smile on his lips widened. Shortly after that, we were seated at our designated table, eating our dinner.

"Wow. The food is fantastic."

"Of course. That's why I brought you're here. I knew you would definitely like their food and I was right. Besides that, I wanted to be with you after being separated for a week. I know that your first day was stressful so I wanted you to relax for a bit."

My lips curved with a smile. "Thank you, my Xzav. Yes, my first day was kinda stressful but I think, everything will be alright in the next days." I reached for his hand. "I'm glad, we're finally together again. I've missed you."

It was his turn to smile. "I've missed you too. You don't know how much." My heart jump in joy. We continued eating and while we were at it, he was the perfect gentleman. He was very attentive to my needs and I couldn't ask for more.

After we finished eating, we went out of the restaurant. We were on our way to the hotel when something unexpected happened.

We heard squeaking sounds and before we knew it, the car went out of lane and almost collided with another car from the opposite side. Thankfully, Dan was alert enough, barely managed to avoid the collision.

"Are you okay, Ina?" Xzavier asked me full of worry as he checked me from head to toe, making sure that I was not hurt.

"I-I'm okay."

He looked at Dan with squinted eyes. "What happened, Dan?!"

"I'm sorry, young master. I lost control of the car. I don't know what happened but I think, we ran into something and the one of the tires exploded."

"What?!"

"I'll check the damage." Dan went out of the car.

"Are you sure, you're not hurt anywhere?" Xzavier's voice mellowed as he looked at me full of worry. I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Everything's fine. What about you? Did you get hurt?"

"I'm okay." He sighed in relief. "Thankfully, you're okay. I got scared that you might've gotten hurt."

That made me smile. I kissed his cheek. "Thank you for worrying about me, but I'm fine. Nothing to worry about."

He was about to answer when Dan opened the car door at Xzavier's side. "Young master, you need to see this."

"Stay here." He kissed my forehead before going out of the car. They stayed there, inspecting the extent of the damage before he opened the car door on my side of the car.

"Ina, we need to get out of here." I didn't know why but he looked odd.

"Why? What about the car and Dan?" I inquired as I got out of the car.

"Don't worry about the car. Everything's okay aside from the left front wheel. Dan will be staying here and wait for the tow service."

"Okay." I thought, we would be hailing a taxi going to our hotel but to my surprise, a sleek black car came stopped in front of us after about 10 minutes. Just like Dan, the driver was wearing a black suit too.

"Whose car is this?"

"It's mine, Ina." I was about to answer when I noticed another two black cars tailing us.

"Do you know those people behind us?" I asked Xzavier nervously.

"Yes. They're my men." I almost sighed in relief.

"What's happening, Xzav? Do you have something you're not telling me?" He'd been silent since a while ago.

"Nothing to worry about, my Ina." He then gathered me into his arms and kissed the top of my head. Even though he said that, I could feel that something was wrong.
