*Yash Pov*

"What do you mean, Yash?" Mom asked, walking near to me and then glanced at my hand holding hers.

"It is true, Mom. I want to marry her and no one else." I replied, to which she shook her head.

"No! This can't happen." She said to which I heard a sigh from beside me, but I just stared at Mom.

"Why? Is it because I chose my bride?" I asked, to which she shook her head.

"No! It is not because of that, but the problem is with bride itself. I would have accepted anyone but will never accept her." She stated making me frown.

"Excuse me! I don't have any technical problems and I was always told that I am a bright student." Nev said breaking in to stand between both of us.

"See? I just can't think her as even a family member and you want to marry her. What are you even thinking?" Mom shouted and immediately Dad walked near to us.

"Yash! She is your cousin." He said after glancing at Mom's face.

"But not blood cousin." I said to which he sighed and turned towards Mom.

"He loves her." He said to which she shook her head before staring at me again.

"Yash! Please don't do this to the family. No one will be happy with this relation." She said and I turned towards remaining members along with Nev to see them just frowning.

"Who accept this?" Nev asked, to which no one said a word and they three walked near to us.

"Wow! What a surprise." She added, shaking her head.

"I don't think this idea is any good." Uncle stated making me frown at him and I glanced at Revu but she is looking down fidgeting with her hands.

"I am not in for it, but will this really sustain?" Lakshmi said, frowning at me and I sighed.

And then it started with my Mom and others except Revu saying one thing and another. To which Nev gave her mind and it felt like no one is going to stop.

"I know everyone of you are not that adjusted to her and vice versa, but from now onwards try to." I said feeling fed up with all the conversation.

"What?" I heard maximum voices and I nodded stepping back.

"Yes! I want my family and Nev in that too." I said and they all fell silent.

"Ok! I know you were always there for this family no matter what. And it is not right to slash you for something you wished. We will try to adapt to all this, but your marriage will take place when everyone is happy." Uncle said after a few minutes when no one seemed to speak.

"No problem at all. It is not like I want to marry him now. There is two years time, at least." Nev said waving her hand.

"Two years?" I asked along with my Mom.

"Yeah! I need to settle here too and what is my age to get married already." She replied shrugging.

"I will never accept her." Mom said stubbornly.

"What does she have to do so that you can accept her?" Dad asked and seems irritated himself.

Mom frowned at his words and stayed silent before nodding. She turned towards me and Uncle and then at Nev.

"Excuse me! It will go on both ways." Nev suddenly said and I slapped my forehead.

"Nev!" I said, groaning.

"What? Even I don't like her and I should have a chance to make her in a way to like her." She said shrugging.

"You said you love Yash, right? That is enough and there is no need to change my wife." Dad said hiding his smile.

"Exactly! I am marrying him and not all of you. So, his love for me is enough." She said and everyone got stunned in their places.

"Nev!" I mumbled turning her around.

"What is it?" she asked frowning.

"I really love you and these thoughts of yours. But we are going to stay here with everyone and we can't live our life with all these differences. Everyone would need harmony and the acceptance from everyone is needed." I replied and she closed her eyes holding my hands over hers.

"Ok! I will try." She mumbled, turning around and waited for Mom.

"You don't have to do much. I always wanted a traditional bride for my Yash and I still want that wish." Mom said shrugging.

"Means?" Nev and I asked.

"Everyday she has to be with me and learn everything I teach her along with doing it by herself. If I feel she can do them then I am fine." Mom explained.

"No!" we suddenly heard a voice.

"I mean... I mean accept her or reject her. But don't keep all these things." Revu said, rushing near to us and everyone glanced at her.

"Do you think I can't do what she is asking?" Nev asked frowning.

"Yes! I don't want all this to happen. Take the decision right now." Revu said stubbornly.

"No! This our life decision and we will decide. I am going to accept Aunt's challenge." Nev said, glaring at Revu and I frowned as I saw the negative answer to all this in Nev's eyes when Mom explained.

"Ok! Take rest for today." Mom said walking away.

Uncle just glanced at us and left for work along with Dad who smiled at us. Lakshmi just as usual frowned before walking near to me.

"When did all this happened? You didn't gave even a small sign like for your previous relations." She said to which I chuckled.

"That's what a person in love learns and that too quickly." I explained and she frowned more.

"I can never do that. Does that mean I don't love him enough?" she mumbled to herself before walking away and I shook my head.

"I will leave for work." I said, smiling at Nev and she nodded smiling back.

I glanced at Revu who seemed to be disturbed, but just shrugged and walked out, glancing at the time to see I am getting late for a new order.

*Neville Pov*

When everyone left and I saw that only I am standing lost in my thoughts along with Mom who is looking around. But I suddenly got startled when she held my hands in her tight grip.

"Neville! Listen to me. Just let all go and forget about it. It is not good for you." She said in a pleading tone.

"Are you threatening me?" I asked her in a low tone.

"No! She will not leave you alone, Neville. I am saying for your own good. Don't accept to all these and go." She replied desperately and I stared at her.

"Was she rude to you or is she still?" I asked and she immediately shook her head.

"You don't understand what I am saying. Why are you so determined for a life in this family?" she asked frowning.

"Because I love Yash. You are asking like I am doing something new. Even you married someone falling in love right." I said and she closed her eyes tightly.

"Just... just listen to me once, Neville. I can't see you struggling." She said, shaking her head.

"And I don't have any wish to listen to you." I said, taking my hands away from her.

"I know you are angry with me. But I really wished I was with you. However, something stopped me and I couldn't fight it." She said brushing her tears away.

"So?" I asked, folding my arms and she looked at me with shock.

"What? Did you think I would run to you and hug you because now I know there was some reason for you to stay away from me?" I asked laughing.

"Well, I have thousands of reasons to not be near you. I came here to see whether there could be at least a normal relation between us, but the chance is already lost and I never gave any second chance to anyone." I said walking away leaving her.

She has a reason for everything! I thought, fuming and threw a pillow on the wall wishing to put out the anger.

I don't care what reason she had. She is my mother and she should have been with me or at least through other measures. That's what mothers do and she should have done the same.

Just look at Yash Mom who is like rude towards me, but still cares for him like a kid, which is over the top but she does something or more thing right.

I shook my head and laid on the bed diverting my thoughts to the challenges I am sure going to get from tomorrow.

Well, if I can't do them, then Yash will help me. It is not like I will be doing all this for myself and I wish I could cancel all this if not for his feelings to be with his family along with their happiness.

"Is everyone going to sit so calmly?" I asked, looking around the dining table.

"Nev!" Yash mumbled, but chuckled when I waited for him to give his real reaction.

"So, Aunt! Excited for tomorrow?" I asked turning towards her.

"We will see who will be how much excited." She replied glaring at me.

"Mom! You should be fair to her." Yash said and she shook her head continuing to serve.

"Don't you want your wishing kiss?" Yash asked following me with a teasing tone.

"Just a kiss?" I asked making him cough and I laughed before pulling him inside the room.

"Will you always shock me, Nev?" he whispered trailing his fingers over my face.

"Depends!" I mumbled moving my face to let his fingers move to my neck.

"I am waiting for that kiss." I mumbled and moved close to him.

"Stand in the queue because I am also." He mumbled, pulling me closer and kissed me taking away my chuckle along with it.

"What is it?" I asked, rubbing my eyes along with yawning while opening the door with the other hand.

"You should come with me." Aunt said and I turned to look at the clock.

"Is something wrong with anyone?" I asked, to which she smiled.

"No! Did you forget about the challenge thing where I can make sure you will know and practice the things which I wish from my future daughter-in-law. Well, this is the time when you have to wake up." She replied and I stared at her in shock.

"At four o clock?" I asked and she nodded before walking away instructing me to freshen up and meet her in the living room.

"God! Why didn't you choose someone else as Yash's mother?" I asked, looking up and closed the door to follow the things.
