Chapter Eight~

I groaned as I stared down at my blood stained shirt. The mix of dried, dark red blood and black didn't go well together. My knuckles now had bright red, bloody scratches across them. For some reason, my house seemed bigger than before. The hallway leading to the steps was longer. Was I hallucinating?

...

"Y/N!" I yelled as soon as I found Y/N, in the living room, staring out the window. She didn't respond.

"Y/N?" I softly asked her as I approached her, putting a hand on her shoulder. She immediately slapped me off. "Don't talk to me!" She snarled. I sighed and stepped a few centimeters away, only to be left staring at my gruesome reflection. I had bruises all over my face. Blood stains under my nose and eyes. Cuts on both my upper and lower lips. Blue, black, and red knuckles. Blood splattered throughout my now faded green hair.

I sighed once more before walking away, leaving her alone. My feet ached as I walked. I headed towards our bedroom, and rested on the bed. And for once, I called out for Anti.

"Anti, what did you say to her?" I asked hesitantly. There was no answer. 'ANTI!" I angrily screamed, tears threatening to fall from my eyes. There was faint laughing for a moment, then he finally decided to answer.

"I told her that you're faking, Jack. I told her that you're actually a demon at heart. I'm just a friend you managed to pick up. That you're not actually human, and you will kill her some day. Now she fears you, Jack. Can you change that? No, you can't." Anti explained.

I jumped to my feet, nearly falling over because of the pain.

"Oh, and.. Halloween is in five days." Anti whispered before disappearing into my head. I still wasn't used to the pain of him moving around inside me.

Damn, that's right. Halloween is in five days. Was I gonna die? Was Anti gonna take over my body? I can't fight back any longer. My body is weak. At this point, these eyes aren't even mine.

"Help me..." I quietly cried as I put my head in my hands and started crying.
The tears immediately turned red as soon as they were exposed to oxygen. Which left red trails going down my face.

...

I sat outside, on the hot driveway. I could hear faint constant giggling inside my head. I had an ongoing nosebleed, which Anti had caused, that made my shirt even more stained than before.

I reached into my pocket and found a lighter. I started carelessly playing with it, letting my fingers quickly run through the flames. "This is fun." I muttered to myself, and laughed at the same time.

After minutes of careless flame play, I stood up and out the lighter back in my pocket, my hands were now a charred black colour.

...

Wait, where was I? I had no clue as to where the hell I was. I was in the middle of a forest, that's for damn sure.

"Hello?" I yelled out, panicking and breathing fast. There was no answer. "HELLO?!" I cried again. But there was still no answer.

Great. Just great.

I'm lost in the middle of a forest, with nothing else to do but shake hands with the dark parts of my thoughts.

I glanced down at my phone, no service, and I only had 10% battery.

I collapsed to the ground, sticks digging into my knees. This forest can't be too far from my house, could it?

It seemed really still. It was dull. There were no birds chirping, there was no wind blowing.

...

I hear footsteps, the sticks crunching underneath this creature's feet. They were coming closer towards me.

"Anti! I told you to leave me alone!" I yelled as I turned away from the tree, but I quickly realized it was not Anti. He had blue hair.

"Ethan?" I whispered.

Ethan nodded and smiled. "What are you doing out here in the forest by yourself?"

"I... I don't know... I don't remember anything about getting here's it's like... Like I was being controlled to come here!" I started to cry.

Ethan stood still for a moment. He was lost for words, he opened his mouth, bug no sound came out.

I threw myself at him for a hug. "Ethan.." I cried into his shoulder. "He's trying to kill me..."
