Imagine that Hades and Persephone's 16 year old son, Elliott has a estranged relationship with him, because Hades spends more time with Mal, his and Maleficent's daughter and Elliott's older half-sister. 

 It was nine months ago  when Mal and Ben had found out that they were going to be parents and that Queen Belle, King Adam and Hades were going to be grandparents and where some major family drama accurses.   

Hades was doing some work in the Underworld, when his phone rang and saw that it was his and Maleficent's daughter, Mal calling.   "Hi Mali. What's up?" He asked her. "Well dad, Ben and I have some news to tell you." She said. "Oh myself. You're getting a divorce? I told you that beastie Jr. wasn't good for you." He said. "No dad. Ben and I are not getting a divorce." She said. "Oh boo-hoo. Now you took the fun out of my plan to beat beastie Jr. up." He said as Ben looked at his wife, horrified. "Dad, what if I told you that you're going to be a grandfather?" She said as Hades froze dead in the spot he was standing. "Mali, a-are you saying what I think you're saying?" He said. "Yes dad. I'm pregnant and Ben and I would love it if you would join us for dinner tonight." She said. "Tonight? What time?" He asked. "7:00pm." "I can make. See you then, my little villain princess." He said as he went to finish up his work in the Underworld.

As Hades joined his daughter and son-in-law, (who was still scared of his father-in-law) they all sat down at Mal's favorite restaurant, ate and talked about the baby.  "What do you think the baby will be dad?" Mal asked her father.  "I'm hoping for a boy, but then again I won't be able chase boys away, if it's a girl.   I don't care what the baby is, but I just want the baby to  be healthy." Hades said.   Meanwhile up on Mount Olympus,  Elliott, (son of Hades and Persephone)  was up working on his graduation list.  "Elliott? What are you doing up this late?" Persephone asked him.  "Sorry mom, but I'm excited that I'll be graduating in a few months and I wanted to get a head start on my list on who I want at my graduation." He said.   "Oh and who am I inviting to your graduation?" She said as she sat beside him  and he showed her the list.  When she saw that Hades name on the list it made her a little mad, but she understood on why he wanted him there.    "I'll send out the invites first thing in the morning, now my son, please get some rest." She said as Elliott went to bed.  (Time skip to a few day before graduation) 

One day, since Elliott had off, he decided to go visit his dad in the Underworld.  Once he was there, he didn't know that Mal was there visiting with Hades.   "Hi dad. Sis." Elliott said as he entered the sitting room.  "Hello son.  What brings you down to here? Mal and I were just discussing about making a baby's room down here, for when my little soul stealer comes."  He said as Elliott just ignored everything his father just told him.   "I came down here to invite you to my graduation."  He said.  "Are you sure that your mother is okay with me coming?" He asked him.  "Yes, for I want both of my parents there." He said.  "Then I, Lord Hades of the Underworld.  Swear to you, Elliott, my son  that I will be there for your graduation." He said as they both hugged and Elliott left to return to his mother's house.  (Time to Elliott's graduation & Mal's due date) 

Today was Elliott's graduation and both of his parents couldn't be any more prouder of their son.  "Dad? You're coming tonight right?" Elliott asked his father.  "Of course, Elliott. I won't miss this for the world." He said.  Elliott smiled and told his father that he couldn't wait to see him, hung up the phone and went to get ready.  Just as Hades was about to get ready for his son's graduation, Ben called him and told him that Mal went into labor and they were on their way to the hospital.   "Tell Mal to hold that baby in.  Papa Hades is coming!" He said as he made his way to the hospital.    Meanwhile at the graduation,  Elliott looked out to the crowd of people and saw his mother and his other family members, but his father was nowhere to seen.  Elliott felt so heartbroken and didn't understand why his own father didn't come to his graduation.   (Time skip to a few days later)

After Mal gave birth to a healthy baby girl, who she and Ben named Jorgie, Hades was hard at work, making a special nursery for his granddaughter, when she came to visit.  Elliott decided to his  "so-called father" a visit.  "Father?! I need a word with you." He said. "Sorry son, but I'm busy."  Hades said as Elliott grew more angry with his own father.  "You weren't a part of that poor excuse of a daughter's life, so why care for her now!" He lashed out.  "Watch your tone, Elliott."  He warned him.  "Why? All I hear is Mal this & Mal that. You care more about her than me! You're so careless, ruthless and cruel! Just like your father, Kronos was!" Elliott hissed as Hades lashed out at him.  "And you're a spoiled, arrogant and selfish child, who cares just about himself!" Hades yelled as the father and son just kept on making the situation worse, where Hades got so mad, his powers came out and end up hurting Elliott. 

Hades didn't realized that he had injured his son's left cheek  until he got closer to him.  "Elliott, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean-." "Leave me alone! I hate you!" Elliott yelled as he ran away to the forest. "What have I done?" Hades said as he got Cerberus to go help him find Elliott.
