Backstory: Thanatos grew up on the Isle of the Lost. He was always a loner, and one of the many others who didn't know who his own mother was. So Thanatos started to do things that would distract him. Leading to many partners ;) like Evie, Freddie Facilier, both CJ and Harriet, and even Chelsea the daughter of Chernabog, these would span across his life starting at 13 to 15. But back when Thanatos was twelve he met Mal one night saving her from Silas son of Scar and his greatest rival. But then next year Thanatos learned that him and Mal were siblings, twins, and he was only older by ten minutes. Thanatos then met Maleficent, who hated what Hades did to him, and then slapped him and kicked him out of her castle. Thanatos from then forward to never be like his mother and help those who couldn't help themselves.
