|:|Impossible Things are Happening Everyday|:| (Ella x Charming)
Ella's POV
It's Castlecoming Night *long sigh* I wish I was able to go. Stupid broken vase. I'm grounded over a stupid vase that I didn't even break, and while I didn't really even want to go because it defeats the purpose of everything I believe in, I don't wanna let Bridget down, especially since I promised her that we'd go together and I didn't tell her that I was grounded...? I know that's bad, but I didn't wanna give her hopes up with a false promise.
But also, Charming is gonna be there. I know I have a weird way of showing it, but I like him a lot, but he's royalty and I'm just... me. Why would want to be with a girl like me? I'm so ordinary and bland and basic, and he's so... well, Charming. It doesn't matter anyway, sneaking out would be impossible.
Faye: (Whispering) Psssst... Ella. Ella, over here.
I turn to my window to see Faye, waving at me from outside with a soft smile.
Ella: Faye? What are you doing here?
Faye: I'm here to make impossible things happen.
Ella: (Confused) Huh? What are you talking about?
Faye: You, my friend, are going to Castlecoming! For helping me with my magic, I'm giving back to you, by helping you sneak out to Castlecoming! and You get the full package; A new dress, a fresh ride, and a magical night at Castlecoming, on the house!
Ella: You'd do that? Thank you, Faye! I promise to pay you back.
Faye: No need, El. Like I said, this is my way of giving back to you for helping me with my magic. Now, come on, we both have a magical night ahead of us!

A strange, yellow pumpkin becomes a golden carriage. Four white mice became four white horses. Faye made the impossible happen. I guess impossible things do happen every day. Faye and I sit in the golden carriage as we ride to Castlecoming, Faye trying to contain her excitement.
Faye: (Excitedly) So, you excited for Castlecoming?
Ella: Eh... I guess.
Faye: (Concerned) What's troubling you, Girly?
Ella: Well, I have a dilemma; See, I asked Bridget to Castlecoming, but I wanna go with Charming because I like him... a lot.
Faye: Really? You sure have a funny way of showing it, El.
Ella: I know... It's not that I don't want him to feel the same way, I just get so nervous around him, then I pull the 'social norms' card, and I practically scare him. Plus, He's royalty and I'm just little ole me...
Faye: (Confused Chuckle) And what's wrong with being "little ole" you?
Ella: Besides Basic, Bland, and Boring?
Faye: Ella Tremaine. Now, you listen here and you listen well. You are anything but basic, bland, or boring. You are an amazing girl, with amazing talents. I don't another girl at Merlin Prep who's making their own clothes, and sure it's not covered in jewels or gold, but it's original. It's you, El. Plus, you're a great friend, and loyal, and kind, and probably the most realistic-thinking person there. If Charming can't see that, then his name is not as accurate as how he's depicted in life.
Ella: You really think that he'll like me... for me?
Faye: He's a charming fool not to.
Ella: (Chuckles) Thanks, Faye... I needed that.
Faye: Of course, El! What are friends for?
We quickly hugged as the Carriage started to come to a stop, we must be here.
Faye: (Excitedly) Bippity Boppity! We're here!
We got out of the carriage, Faye getting out before me, and everything looked amazing! The decorations, the scenery, and the music is going crazy, and everyone's outfits look amazing too.
Bridget: (Excitedly) ELLA!!!
Ella: (Excitedly) BRIDGET!!!
Bridget: You made it! For a second, I thought your stepmom grounded you or something.
Ella: (Nervous laughs) Cupcake, you have no idea... Anyway, Look at you! You look so beautiful!
Bridget: Are you kidding? Your dress is literally out of this world! I'm just glad that you're here, Peaches. I don't know what I would've done if you weren't here with me... Now, let's go get our Castlecoming Groove on!
We all headed to the Courtyard to dance. We were having such a great time on the dance floor, that I bumped into someone.
Ella: Oh- Sorry about tha- Charming. H-hi.
Charming: Ella? I wasn't expecting to see you here.
Ella: It was a last-minute decision to come.
Charming: Well, you look absolutely Beautiful, El. I'm glad you were able to make it.
Ella: (Awkwardly) Oh. Um... Thanks, Charming.
I walked awkwardly away from Charming and back over to a smirking Bridget.
Ella: What?
Bridget: You like him.
I was trying to contain a smile, whilst trying to beat the 'Crush on Charming' allegations, but I slipped up and I smiled big. What? If your Best friend figured out your crush, you'd try to hold back a smile too.
Bridget: (Excitedly) Oh. My Gosh! I don't know why I didn't see it sooner, but you like Charming!
Ella: Okay fine... I do like Charming, but it doesn't matter. Charming wouldn't even like a girl like me, let date one like me. I'm so... ordinary.
Bridget: Are you kidding? You're the Sweetest, Kindest, Funniest, Honest, and most Loyal girl that I know and Charming would be out of his mind to not like you back.
Ella: You really think I have a chance with him?
Bridget: I do, but there's only one real way to find out.
The music starts to slow down for the slow dance. The dance floor starts to split like Moses and the Red Sea to reveal Charming standing there, waiting... for me.

Bridget: Go! Go be with your prince!
Ella: Are you sure you'll be okay, mama?
Bridget: I'll be fine, now go, Go!
I started to walk towards Charming until I was standing in front of him.
Ella: (Softly) Hi...
Charming: (Breathtaken) Hi... May I have this dance, Ella?
I didn't say anything, I simply nodded as a smile crept along my lips. We began to slow dance, not breaking eye contact. It felt like it was just the two of us, like no one else was there, just me and Charming, dancing the night away.
Charming: You know, between the sparkle in your eyes, your smile, or just you in this dress, I can't decide what's more Beautiful to look at.
Ella: (Blushing) Oh... You're just saying that. I bet you probably see me as ordinary on a normal day.
Charming: Why would I think that?
Ella: Because you're royalty and I'm just... me?
Charming: (Chuckles) So that's why you've been acting so weird around me. Ella, I like you. Not only do I like you, I like you for you. You're special, like none other. More special than any girl my parents want me to be with. All of the other girls only care about how much money I have, but you... You see me for more than just my riches and social status and that's something worth having in my life.
Ella: (Nervously) W-w-what are you trying to s-say?
Charming: Ella Tremaine, will you make me the happiest prince in the world, and be my soulmate?
Ella: I- I- I- don't know what to say... Yes! I will be your soulmate, Prince Charming!
I cupped his face in my hands and kissed him sweetly, Ending such a magical night. I was able to go to Castlecoming, be with Charming, and begin my happily ever after chapter. Nothing could possibly go wrong... is what I thought until...
Ella: What do you mean the magic only lasts until Midnight?!
Faye: I meant to tell you earlier but when I went to tell you, you were already gone. Oopsie Poopsie!
Bridget: Okay, Let's all calm down... All that matters now, is that we get you home. We have enough time if we leave now.
Ella: Okay, but what about Charming? He's going to want to know why I left so early.
Bridget: Okay if you tell him the truth, we'll still have enough time to get you home.
We left the corridor to find Charming out in the crowd. Nowhere to be found. Maybe he went to the bathroom. I can't waste any more time. I have to go, before this magic wears off.
Charming: Ella! There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you. Leaving so soon?
Ella: Unfortunately... Look, I wasn't supposed to be here. My stepmother grounded me for something that I didn't do, Faye helped me sneak out and magic'd me up for helping her, and now I'm trying to rush home because I only have until midnight before the magic wears off.
Charming: Oh- Okay... Well, you better hurry home, It's... 11:35 right now.
Ella: Thank you for understanding. I'll see you at School!
I kissed his cheek and ran out with Bridget and Faye, on the rush home. Hopefully, my Stepmother hasn't needed me at all otherwise, I'm in more trouble than before.
I... didn't make it home in time, I got Bridget and Faye in trouble for helping me, and now I'm grounded for life. So much for the Bippity Boppity Boo. I guess tonight was great while it lasted...
