Chloe's POV

Today's the day. I'm gonna ask Red Hearts to be my Girlfriend. Sorry, I didn't introduce myself. Chloe Charming's the name, Fencing and being good is my game. My best friend and girlfriend-to-be, Red, and I have traveled through time to save my mom and make hers good again, and since then, I've had these feelings for her. I guess you could say that I've had a change of Heart.

wow. Tough Crowd. Anyway, I've been wanting to ask her to be my girlfriend, for a while now, but the moment never felt just right. I mean, sure, we've been on a few dates and given each other little kisses a few times a day, and not to mention our constant casual flirting, after all that, the moment was never right, So I have to do it today before the moment is gone. No one makes me feel the way I feel like Red does.

Chloe: (Nervously) Red! Hi!

Red: Hey, Princess!

Example number 1: She calls me Princess. I don't know what it is about that nickname because We're both princesses of our respective kingdoms, but when She calls me Princess, it makes me feel all warm inside and I kinda like that feeling... a lot.

Red: How was Swords and Shields?

Example number 2: She's actually interested in my hobbies. I've had crushes before, but none of them were interested in me or my hobbies and passions, instead, only used me for my smarts.

Red, however, is different, and ironically, not because she's a VK either. She genuinely cares about me and what I enjoy doing and that will always be a green flag for me.

Chloe: (Nervously) It w-was good! I was finally a-able to perfect My... Club of Hearts move, i-i-inspired by... You.

Red: You name a fencing move after me? Aww, you didn't have to do that, Princess.

She gave a warm smile, Which brings me to example number 3: Her Smile... *giggles* Her smile is one of Red's best physical features... besides her Beautiful Hazel Eyes and her contagious laugh... *lovestruck sigh* I love my Red of Hearts...

Red: (Slightly Concerned) You okay, Princess? You seem more... jittery than usual.

Chloe: (Blurting) I- I have a surprise for you!

Not knowing what to do next, I quickly covered her eyes and walked her out the door.

Red: (Chuckles) Hey... Slow down. I'm not even wearing shoes.

I just hope Chad had everything set up like I asked him to. My surprise is a picnic date at the Enchanted Lake. I needed help with my special surprise, so I asked the first Successful Royal/VK Couple I knew. Queen Mal and King Ben.

They, Well, King Ben suggested and I quote, to, "Take her to Enchanted Lake! The best special moments seem to happen there." Then he started talking about Queen Mal asking him about the little crowns on his swim trunks, which was kinda funny, but I kept the most information in my head; Take Red to the Enchanted Lake. We made it there and Chad really came through with this one.

Chloe: We're here, Lovey!

I uncovered her eyes to reveal the decorated area, the string quartet, and the setting sun, which wasn't planned, but it made this moment even more special.

Chloe: Surprise!

Red: (In Awe) Princess, You did all this for me? You've outdone yourself.

We headed over to the table of some of Red's favorite foods, Brownies, "Club" Sandwiches, and Red Fizz Soda with little playing cards on the rims of the cups.

Red: (Amazed) Wow... You've really thought of everything!

Chloe: Of course, I did. Anything for my Lovey.

She gave me a quick hug, sat at the table, and began chowing. Red must've been really hungry. I've never seen someone eat so fast and that says a lot when my brother is Chad "Chowdown" Charming.

I sat down and began to eat too, signaling the quartet to start playing.

After I signaled the quartet, I looked back at Red, still stuffing her with food. Seeing her like this made me chuckle.

Red: (Mouth Full) What?

Chloe: (Chuckles) Nothing, nothing. It's just... even with your face full of food, you never cease to be gorgeous.

Red smiled again as she finished her brownie. Even with Chocolate on her mouth, Red's smile is still one of best features.

Chloe: Which brings me to why I brought you to the Enchanted Lake.

Hesitantly, I grabbed her hands as I got up from the table, Red standing up after me. I looked into Red's sparkling, Hazelnut colored eyes, and I began to back out, but I knew I couldn't because this moment just has to happen.

Red: Chloe? What's... Going on?

Chloe: (Sighs) I'm just gonna come out and say it... I like you. Like, like you-like you. Something about us going back in time helped me realize that. You're not like any of the other crushes I've like before, in fact, You're the best crush I've ever had and the only that makes me feel something... Special. So, with that being said, Red Hearts, Daughter of The Queen of Hearts and Princess of Wonderland, Will you accept my hand in the name of love, to take on the world together, and be my Girlfriend?

Red's POV

I bit my lip as I began to smile. *Jokingly* Such a Goody Goody...

Red: (Smiling) You're cute, you know that, Princess? Yes, I accept your Proposal. I will be your Girlfriend!

Chloe's POV

Chad: OH YEAH!

Chloe: Chad? I thought you went back home.

Chad: Well I wanted to get footage for mom and dad of my little sister and her scary best friend becoming girlfriends.

Red: What if I said no?

Chad: I'd have an embarrassing video of my "perfect" little sister to laugh at hours on end. Now, Where can I get one of those Club sandwiches?

We both rolled our eyes and pushed Chad into the lake, causing us to both laugh.

Red: (Laughing) Now that's something to laugh at hours on end-

Without thinking, I took my chance, cupped her face into my hands, and kissed Red. Her lips still lingered of chocolate from the brownie she finished moments ago. I quickly pulled away, I realized I didn't even ask her If I could kiss her.

Chloe: (Frantically) Oh my gosh, I'm sorry. I should've asked you if I could kiss you, but I wasn't thinking and I was caught in the moment, and-

Red: (Chuckles) Such a Goody Goody. Kiss me again and I might forgive you.

Chloe: (Smiling) I accept your mission.

I kissed again and this time, she kissed back. It was truly amazing... or should I say... Enchanted?

Oh Come on! You'd make corny dad jokes too if you just had the most amazing kiss with your newly renounced partner. Anyway, Red and I finished our day stargazing, imaging the journey this new relationship of ours will take us...
