After Steven came back from the big donut. He was a little less angry but he still felt ticked off but ehh it didn't bother him at the moment he was currently satisfied after eating two chocolate creme field donuts. He decided  to just push his thoughts to the back of his head and not worry about it.  But it only got harder and harder it was really hard to hold back his thoughts and bottle up his emotions. But he did it to make sure everyone was happy. Usually When he's feeling down he would talk to lapis or peridot or even amethyst out of all the crystal gems at least he knew those three would always have his back.  Steven shook his head and sighed. He decided to pull out his favorite superman comic book he sat there for 2 minutes straight then suddenly he heard the gems come out of their respective rooms.. Steven put on a fake smile and set aside his comic book. 

He hopped over to the warp pad and hummed a melody still masking his face with a fake smile. But on the inside He felt like crying because he felt so much anger in his heart and the negative thoughts were eating away his mind. he felt so much anger on the inside that his powers started to act up and his gem started to turn dull. his eyes went from brown to diamond irises he also started to feel nauseous but he never said a single word. And the gems were to oblivious to notice...

*timeskipped to when the gems arrived at the Masked island*

Garnet: we are here to capture and bubble the amazonite corrupted gem. We already heal most of the corrupted gems but their still are a few stragglers we have to get every single last one of them. *garnet adjusted her visors*

Amazonite/corrupted gem 

Steven how could care less he was to busy thinking it felt like he was in a whole other zone.. His mind began to wander and drift off...
then all of a sudden everything started to fade out again.. somehow he remembered this place he remembered back during garnet's
wedding the diamond's came to earth he remembered when yellow stomped her foot on him then he blacked out. he started to wonder if this
was the astral plane... but  for some reason it didn't looked liked the astral plane instead it just appeared to be a dark void then all of a sudden
pink steven showed up out of thin air. Steven nearly almost had a heart attack.

Pink steven: ... I am you..

Steven: Wha-  I already know that..

Pink steven: ...

Steven: what do you want?..

Pink steven: the question is What do YOU want?

steven: what? I dont understand..

Pink steven:  your anger and your emotions are taking a toll on you.. This is why your powers and abilities are acting up..

Steven: what do I do?

Pink steven: If you don't take control of your anger soon. bad things will occur

Steven: what  do you mean by bad things?

Pink steven: I don't know how to fully explain.. but you will enter into a trance.. and once you enter that trance. then you can no longer be saved.
so the true question is are you really gonna take the risk? are you willing to lose everything you have including yourself? Is it truly worth letting
your anger and hatred take control of you??

steven: I don't know.. I guess that sort of makes sense but what do you mean by enter into a trance ?

Pink steven: I will explain later.. Your about to wake up.

Steven: wait ugh.. I still need to ask you.. before he could finish his sentence he began to wake up..

Steven woke up and he was back at the temple. He was still half asleep. He saw the gems talking to one another at the kitchen counter..
Steven was so confused. He had so many questions right now that he couldn't even sit up straight. He tried to get up off the bed. but instead he
was so tired that he fell face first on the floor. He tried the second time and he manage to get up off the floor he walked down the loft that led to his
bedroom.  He walked over to the countertop and sat in one of the  stools..

Pearl: Steven we're so glad that you are awake. We we're so worried about you. Ugh why weren't you paying attention you were supposed
to help us on the mission.  Instead you were laying under a tree fast asleep. And we tried to wake you up but for some strange reason you wouldn't
wake up... And your gem was glowing..

Steven started feeling ticked off again and he started to feel nauseous again his powers started acting up

Amethyst: uhh ste-man are you okay dude your face is pale and your gem is glowing again...

steven couldn't take it anymore and he screamed and lashed out

Steven: SINCE WHEN DO YOU GUYS CARE ABOUT ME!

the gems looked stunned and shocked pearl was the first one to speak

Pearl: Steven quartz universe I do not appreciate your tone of voice young man! 
And second of all we love you and we care about your health and wellbeing and
since we are your caretakers It is our job to take care of you and protect you from harm's way
and I demand you show us some respect do you hear me!?

Garnet: Pearl is right and your behavior and tone of voice was unwarranted and uncalled for.

this only caused steven's anger to grow he felt like he was reaching a whole new level. Steven felt like he was
on the verge of insanity. Steven  continued to shout out in fury

steven: If you loved me and worried about me so much then why do you even allow a 15 year old kid like me go on world threatening
missions half of the time. And second of all if you loved me so much then why do you always compare me to my mother!?
It's always rose quartz this and pink diamond that and I'm so sick and tired of hearing it! UGH!?? 

this took the gems aback this wasn't the happy little boy they imagine it's only now they realized how much their words and actions
affected him.. they watched and listened as steven went on a full on rant..

steven: *tears up* okay let's start with garnet first. garnet I love you and ruby and sapphire but every time you split apart there's always a
problem. Remember when you were mad at pearl when she tricked you into fusing with her into sardonyx. And how you ruby and sapphire
practically neglected my feelings. All you guys do all the time is argue and bicker at each other and all you guys do is make it ten times worse!

And garnet when we found out the truth about mom you sapphire and ruby were acting selfish and self centered. sapphire stormed off and ruby
ran away and became a cowboy. you guys were being so selfish I didn't even get to cope with all the stress.

And pearl you always talk so highly of my mom it makes me feel like you only want my mom instead of me
remember when we found mom's scabbard and you ran away and climb on top of that huge rock!

I remembered when you summoned a hologram projection of mom and then you said

"i wonder if she can see me through your eyes oh what would she think of me now"

and i remembered what you said earlier before that!

"How would you know you never even met her!"

and then you slammed the wall causing mom's portrait to fall..

Pearl and garnet were to stubborn to admit it but they both knew he was right and a part of them felt slightly ashamed
but steven didn't care he was so angry that he ran back upstairs to his bedroom and fell on top of the bed and wept angrily
his emotions were spiraling out of control  and his hormones began to act up and his powers continued to act up as well he felt so
sick that he felt like he was gonna vomit his skin color began to become pale he was as white as a ghost and his blood pressure was
dangerously high. He became dizzy and his vision blurred Suddenly he entered into a trance this made him terrified because he remembered
what pink steven had told him not to long ago.. Once the gems heard screaming they rushed up the stairs. suddenly before he could say anything his vision blacked out..

Pearl: I think I know why he is so angry he.. oh no..

STEVEN..

He entered into a deep trance.. I was to blind to see it
he's been under so much turmoil and stress that his mind subconsciously entered into a state of Diamond rage.
