You Can't Handle The Truth

"Harmony." Dean sat down with her as she was having some lunch. "You looked in Sam's eyes right?"

"Of course Dean, first thing I did when I saw him standing there for the first time in a year." Harmony answered.

"And you didn't see any signs of Lucifer or anything else?" Dean asked.

"I promise Dean, I'd know if it was Lucifer." Harmony sighed.

"So what did you see? Cause I really believe that's not Sam."

"Nothing." Harmony answered.

"Nothing?"

"Dean, I've been forbiden to use my powers for a year thanks to your stupid girlfriend so forgive me if I'm a little rusty." Harmony snapped burning the garbage in her hands.

"What was it about Lisa you don't like?" Dean asked.

"Well for one when she looks at you all she pictures is you with your clothes off." Harmony gagged before walking away to cool off.

Dean sighed sadly, he feels like he lost his brother and his baby sister. Harmony never lies so he knew what was wrong with her but with Sam, it's like all he does is lie.

Sam saw Harmony. "Wow you look pissed."

"No shit." Harmony answered but then stopped when Sam didn't correct her for her using a bad word, Harmony turned and looked into Sam's eyes again and once again saw nothing.

"You ok?" Sam asked.

"Think my powers are weak." Harmony answered.

"I disagree." Sam said. "The way you burned that vamp, I'd say they're stronger."

"Whatever." Harmony rolled her eyes. "What you got?"

"I think we have a case." Sam handed her a newspaper showing one town had four tragic suicides.

"Fine." Harmony sighs and got into the car.

They got to the town and started interviewing the sister of the last victim.

They told the usual lie that they were cops and Harmony was with them for career day.

"Jane was having a really bad day." The victim's sister said. "So I did what any sister would do."

Being a sister herself Harmony got into the girl's face and took a look into her eyes. This time she saw the soul loud and clear. "Oh really? I'm a sister and if you did what any loving sister would do she wouldn't be dead."

"What are you saying?" The girl asked.

"I'm saying you're a liar." Harmony said.

"Harmony." Dean warned.

"No, let her continue." Sam said. "Keep going kiddo."

Harmony looked into the sisters eyes and growled. "Tell us what the hell did you do to your sister?"

The sister finally broke down. "You're right. I told her she was a burden and that she should kill herself."

After doing more investigating seems that lots of people were killed after someone confessed something to them. Sam went to go check out the bodies while Harmony and Dean found out the victims were both customers of a horn shop and a one in a billion horn was stolen the day the first victim died. Turns out it's called the Horn of Truth. Dean looked it up and saw that it was a supernatural horn.

"Castiel? Hello." Dean mumbled. "Possible loose nuke down here. Angelic weapon."

"Yeah hear that Cas?" Harmony asked while looking at the ceiling.

Castiel then appears. "Hello Dean, Harmony."

"Are you kidding me?" Dean glared.

"Dean." Harmony sighed not in the mood to listen to another fight.

"I've been on red alert about Sam and you come for some stupid horn!!" Dean shouted.

"You asked me to be here and I came." Cas told him.

"I've been asking you do be here for days you dick!"

"I didn't come about Sam because I have nothing to offer."

"Well that's just great cause all we know is that he's gift wrapped for Lucifer!"

"Dean I told you, if it was Lucifer I would know, my powers might not be at it's best but Lucifer I would know."

"What about your powers?" Cas asked. "And you're right about Lucifer not being in Sam."

"And how are you both so sure?" Dean asked.

"If Lucifer escaped the cage..."

"We'd feel it." Harmony finished for him. "I need some air." Harmony walked out of the motel.

"What is wrong with them?" Dean asked Cas.

"I don't know Dean." Cas admitted. "Harmony had too much anger in her but that shouldn't be affecting her powers."

"Well something is." Dean told him. "She can't read people like she use to. She'll be staring at Sam and get nothing, that's never happened before. And you, what happened to you?"

"I'm at war." Cas reminded him. "But what you said about Harmony... there's only one way Harmony wouldn't be able to read someone." Cas then disappeared.

"Cas?" Dean looked around. "Cas! Damn it!"

"It's not the horn of truth." Cas appeared behind him.

"You were gone for two seconds where did you look?" Dean asked.

"Everywhere." Cas shrugged. "And about your siblings I want to help." With that Cas disappeared again.

Harmony sat on the motel steps thinking about how her life use to be so great with her brothers. Adventures, solving mysteries, being a team."

"Hey kid."

Harmony looked up to see a woman looking concerned.

"You ok?" The lady asked her.

"Family drama."

"Sometimes I feel like I can't get pregnant cause God knows my marriage is a sham." The lady randomly said. "Why did I say that?"

Harmony blinked surprised and looked into her eyes. "You don't need God for that just go see a doctor." Harmony got up and went back in the room. "Dean, some lady just randomly told me a very unnecessary not needed to know random truth."

Dean looked at her and put his phone away. "Well Cas just told me it's not the horn of truth and Sam just called saying he's investigating another victim's house and wants us to meet him there so lets go."

Dean and Harmony started walking to the car. Next to them was a woman sitting in her convertible in a very low dress. "I'm sitting like this so you'd look at my breasts." She told Dean. "I just bought them, I need a lot of attention."

"Good luck with that." Harmony told her about to get in then noticed Dean was staring at them. "DEAN!"

Dean drove to where Sam was and Harmony looked at the phone as it rang to see it was Lisa. "Damn it Dean, told you to block her number."

"Let me just tell her goodbye at least." Dean told her.

"Hell no." Harmony pocketed the phone. "Last thing you need is to hear random truths from her."

Dean sighed as they got out of the car and Sam ran out carrying a box. "Where you been I found something."

"Later, we need to talk." Dean told him.

"Yeah what's up?" Sam asked still staring at the box.

"Few things I wanna ask you and you're gonna tell me the truth." Dean told him.

"Yeah of course Dean." A look of realization came over Sam. "Wait, are you saying that you're..."

"I asked for the truth." Dean admitted.

"Now people are telling us way to personal things." Harmony shivered.

"Sam when that vamp attacked me why did you just stand there?" Dean asked.

"I didn't. I froze." Sam said after a moment of silent.

"You froze?" Dean asked. "You've been Terminator since you got back."

"I don't know, shock." Sam shrugged. "You were getting turned and my little sister was running right at you."

Even Harmony felt something was off but she just let it go and sighed. "So how do we break Dean's curse? Cause I don't want to hear woman telling him their boobs are plastic forever."

"What?" Sam asked.

"Has happened already." Harmony gagged.

"They were nice." Dean shrugged.

"So what did you find Sam?" Harmony asked.

"Hex box." Sam told them before holding up a cat skull. "Say hello to mittens."

"So that was the victims pet?" Dean asked.

"The victim was obsessed on finding out the truth if her boyfriend was cheating on her." Sam explained. "The cat skull plus the other things in here at the ingredients for a summoning spell.

"Demon?" Dean asked.

"No, Veritas." Sam told them. "Now anyone in town who asks for the truth she doesn't just give it to you she slams you with it till you kill yourself and she gets her tribute."

"Wait I've never been able to lie and I can't be killed." Harmony pointed out. "I can kill this thing easy."

"So this thing loves attention, and what's the best way to get attention these days?" Dean asked.

"Get yourself on tv." Sam nodded agreeing.

Sam watched endless tv all day until he finally saw a news reporter's eyes flash, they found their Veritas. They found the news station she worked at and followed her home.

"See you boys later." Harmony teleported inside. As she looked around she didn't find anything unusual until that feeling she get when there's death nearby came over her. Harmony followed it into the basement to see Veritas taking out a dead mans tongue and eating it. "Mmm tongue is the best part. Where the lies roll off."

Harmony flinched feeling sick watching this bitch eat, she had a perfect shot but then Sam ran in making Veritas look up.

"Damn it Sam! I would have been done with this in literally a second!" Harmony shouted at him.

"Sorry princess, I couldn't stop him." Dean ran in behind him.

"You came for dinner." Veritas waved her hand and the brothers went flying into the stone wall. Sam didn't get knocked out cause he landed more on his back but Dean got hit pretty good in the head.

"Dean!" Harmony ran over and held Dean's head in her lap, luckily he wasn't bleeding, he was just knocked out. "Damn it Sam!" Harmony snapped at her other brother. "You've been a total dick since you came back what's with you?"

"Yeah Sam." Veritas walked over. "Tell the truth."

"Look." Sam sighed. "We watch out for each other, I was worried about you Harmony."

"No, no it's not." Veritas looked like she was about to freak out. "How are you doing that? That's not possible you're lying to me!"

"No I'm not!" Sam insisted.

Veritas looked at Harmony. "What is he?"

"I don't know what you're talking about." Sam snapped at her.

"Really? I doubt that. I doubt anything that comes out of your mouth right now."

Harmony blinked her tears back as she held Dean close to her. "I hate to agree with crazy killer bitch her but she's right Sam. At first I thought maybe my powers were just weak from not using them, but the only person I can't read... is you. But you have to be my brother, you have to be!"

"He's not human. No human can ever lie to me." Veritas said.

"What?" Dean asked as he woke up.

Veritas turned her attention to Dean. "You didn't know that? Now that I believe."

Harmony got up. "You know what I believe?" Harmony looked into her eyes and grinned. "You're an attention whore and these people." Harmony points to a couple dead bodies. "A teenage girl who was working hard to pay for college and a loving father who's daughter is now crying every night all because of you and for that." Harmony lit her hands on fire. "I can't let you live and that's the truth."

While Harmony was killing Veritas Dean was glaring at Sam before holding up a knife at Sam's throat.

"Dean, it's me."

"You are not my brother." Dean glared getting closer to him.

"Just listen."

"What are you?!"

"It's me, look, please just let me explain."

"Why should I believe anything you say?"

"You want the truth? ok ok God's honest. She was right, there's something wrong with me, really wrong. I've known it for a while. I lied to you, yeah. I did let you get turned by that vamp, because I knew there was a cure and we needed to find that nest and I knew you could handle it."

"Handle it?! I could have died!" Dean snapped. "I could have killed someone!"

"And that should have stopped me cold, I just don't feel it." Sam admitted.

"You what?"

"Ever since I came back, I am a better hunter than I've ever been, nothing scares me anymore. Cause I can't feel it. I don't know what's wrong with me."

Dean turned to Harmony who just finished turning Veritas to ashes. Harmony stood up hearing everything and nodded to Dean.

Dean the swung at Sam hard in the face knocking him out.

Harmony walked over and stared down at Sam then at Dean. "Least your curse is broken."

"How you feeling?" Dean asked.

Harmony looked over at the body she burned then down at her hands making her smile. "Much better."
