"Everyone, this is Bajan!" all eyes were on the two of us, Gill was the first to speak up, "Are the two of you related?" "We have no clue" Bajan responded, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly, "Well, it's still nice to meet you Bajan, I'm Gill" he said extending his hand to shake, Bajan accepted the gesture, "Nice to meet you as well" they both smiled and Gill said, "And that's, Aiden and Maya" he nodded his head as the other two waved, "Soooooooooooooooooo" Axel said, "What?" both Bajan and I said, we both looked at each other, "That was weird" we both jumped, 'Ashlyn help!' "Stop saying the same thing I'm saying! No you stop! Ok fine, I'll just be quiet!" We both turned away from one another crossing our arms, "Ok, that's creepy" Petra said, "Yeah, agreed" Oliva responded, "Hey Winter, your ummmm" Gill said pointing to his eye, my hand shot up to my left eye, "Ummmm, if you'll excuse me for a moment" I said sheepishly and ran out of the temple and to the place Lukas had showed me. I sat down at the water's edge, moving my hand away from my eye, sure enough it was glowing an almost violent ice blue, I scooped some water in my hands and splashed my face a couple of times. I stared at my reflection as it slowly shifted to Brine, "What the" I muttered, slowly things started to get a bit creepy, his hand emerged from the water, catching me off guard and pulling me in. I past through what almost felt as if it were a portal, and then I was pulled out of the water and was now standing on my feet, I looked around and was amazed by what I saw, it was almost as if I were in a dream, I water gleamed like crystals and the grass what a bright color, the trees were grey with blue leaves and golden apples grew on them, "Haha, gotta be quicker than that!" I heard a faint voice say, I looked around for the source of the voice, "What are you looking for?" I jumped and spun around, coming face to face with the devil himself, "Herobrine" I mumbled, "The one and only, now would you mind answering my question?" "Oh, I uhh, heard a v-" "Yo Hero! Who you taking to?" soon two figures followed the voice, a centaur and a kitsune, "Whoa, ummm who is she?" the kitsune asked, "A relative of mine" Hero replied back plainly, "Hey, have you seen VanSmith? She should've been back by now" the centaur asked, "Havn't got a clue" I looked up and my step-uncle, his eyes glowing brightly with power and magic, "I take it you two aren't planning to do anything stupid, are you?" Hero said, a deadly tone ringing in his voice, the other to took a step back nervously, "Us? No not at all?" the kitsune said nervously, giving an obvious fake laugh at the end of his statement, "You two are terrible liars" I blerted out, Hero seemed amused by this as I gave the two brainless figures a deadpan look, "Wow, she really is related to you" the centaur said, "Well, we're not really blood related, he's my step-uncle" I pointed out, "Wait, then how do you have the same power as him?" I stood there, 'Why had I never asked myself that?' Suddenly a female's voice was heard, "Brine, Sterlight, Grounding, where are you guys" she slowly found her way over to us and gasped, making the fairy wings on her back buzz happily, "Oh my gosh! You must be Winter! Hero's step-niece!" she flew over to me and shook my hand, smiling brightly, "My names VanSmith and let me tell you, it is an honer to meet you!" I gave her an unsure smile, "Ummm, yeah" "VanSmith, let her take it all in first, she's never been to a magical place, remember she lives with mortals" VanSmith chuckled nervously and let go of my hand, "Sorry Miss. Brine, it's just I was so excited that you would be coming to our world, I guess I got a little too excited" I smiled and told her it was alright, turning to my step-uncle I said, "Scents you're the God of the second spirited, then could you help me with Ashlyn, I've been trying to talk to her for the past week or so, but she never responded" Hero looked at me intrigued by my question, "Perhaps first, we should figure out how and why you inherited my powers, without being blood related" I nodded my head but saw that everything around me was starting to shimmer and disappear, "What's going on?" I snapped my eyes open, seeing that I was staring at the lake, sitting on my knees, looking at my reflection I saw the color return to my eye, sighing to myself I got up slowly, only to fall backward into someone's arms, I looked up to see Gill's worried face, he helped me up and made me look at him, we stared into each others eyes, in a swift movement Gill hugged me, "I'm am so glad that you're ok" I stood there, then hugged him back, "Yeah, me too"
