In the armory:
The VKs manged to defeat the enchanted suits and were now running as fast as they could up to Ben's office.
"Where they go!" Carlos said while looking around.
Uma opened the door that led to the meeting room, "they're not here, nobody's is, except-"
"Belle!" Evie exclaimed as she hurried over to the statue.
"Uma you said you knew her whole plan!" Mal exclaimed.
"Yeah, she well it looks like her plans changed" Uma replied with a whole lotta sass, "don't blame me for her changes"
"Look let's just go look outside" Jay said.
"Where's Audrey?" Carlos asked.
"I don't know, hopefully she's not with then" Mal said turning to leave.

The sky's turned grey with every hour that went by as you walked through Auradon's large forest.
You stole glances of Hades, he walked next to you and you kept Beast in front, giving him occasional pushes or stepping on his heels.
A giggled escaped your lips as you saw Hades make and hold a blue flame in his hands, tossing it up catching it, putting it out and bringing it back, just doing various tricks with it.
'focus!' a voice said in your head wiping the smile off your face, your eyes looked straight ahead.
But that wasn't your voice, that didn't sound like you.
'Don't get distracted! Keep your eye on the prize' it said again.
You ignored it and kept taking brief looks of Hades.
"So, Y/n"
You looked at him with a smile.
He continued, talking very slowly, as if carefully picking his words, "I was thinking..." He paused shrugging, "this is just a thought that came across my mind," he looked at you, unsure of how you would react, "what if, we follow in the pre-made footsteps and rule Auradon with... a softer approach instead of the whole, 'I'm here for revenge, I captured your leader now now down to your Queen' clique"
You let out a soft giggle and as you thought over his words but before you could say anything, a pounding headache knocked on your head and you felt a ting of power surge through your body, and cloud your mind of your thoughts.
The only thing you thought was of getting revenge and Hades was getting in the way of that.
"Are you crazy!" you snapped, "your mean, your evil, your bad news! Snap out of it! We've come this far" you signaled the Beast, "only for you to bac-"
A loud roar interrupt your sentence.
"Uh... what the hell was that?" you put a hand on Beasts' shoulder and aggressively spun him to face you, "what exactly lives in this forest?"
He opened his mouth but nothing came out.
"Ugh that's right" you muttered and dragged your hand across his throat to make him audible again.
The Beast cleared his throat, "the 7 dwarfs live here with their families... but" there was another loud roar, "Audrey turned everyone in the kingdom into stone!"
"Then what the hell was that!" You said through gritted teeth.
"Y/n he said everyone not everythi-"
"Shut up! Just shut up! Stop sticking up for him!" you didn't know what you were saying, your hand pointed the scepter at him and launched him back into a tree, thick thorns wrapping around him, you didn't have control, you didn't do that, that wasn't you, yet your voice continued to speak, "He was the one who imprisoned us in that stupid isle! Your a GOD! For crying out loud you belong up here not in some sewer!"
You felt your body enlightened, the presence you felt before left and you looked at Hades' blue eyes, realizing the words that just came out of your mouth.
"Uh, I-" you looked at him with apologizing eyes then you face screwed up as you looked down at the scepter in your hands.
You could have sworn you heard a faint high pitched laugher, then you heard a whisper near your ear, "leave him, you don't need him, he'll just get in our way"
"No! You stupid thing!" You yelled at the scepter, "what have you done!"
"What? Do you love him?" It mocked, "love is weak!"
You attempted to break it but it didn't work, so you threw it on the ground (unaware of the wand slipping out of your sleeve) and used your own powers to try to destroy it.
"Y/n behind you" you heard a voice that wasn't Hades'.
'Beast? That was his voice!'
You stopped trying to overpower the scepter, as you felt a sharp pain on your left arm.
You cried out in pain as warm liquid slid down your arm as you look back to see a hairy... well a beast.
This wasn't the ex-king, however this was a different creature.
You pushed it back with a spell and continued to try to break the scepter.
But this time the scepter fought back, making you stumble back.
"I got you babe!"
Now that was most definitely Hades.
You looked back at him, shocked at the words, he was still trapped with thorns but was now using his ember to help overpower the scepter.
"What!" You exclaimed, but quickly realized that this wasn't the time to be asking questions.
You flickered your hand to trap the furry beast with some roots to the floor then focused on destroying the scepter that laid on the ground.
"This is fuckin' crazy! What were trying to do!" You heard Hades yell.
No matter what spell you cast,  nothing was working.
You were starting to think this wasn't gonna work when you saw another ray of power, you looked at it's source and saw the ex-king with Fairy Godmother's wand... helping you out?
And in a few seconds, miraculously the scepter crumbled to pieces.
"Unbelievable!" you heard the former king breath out.
But you didn't have time to catch your breath as you ran to get Hades out if the thorns.
"I'm so sorry!" You cried, "I didn't mean too, I didn't mean any of it! I really didn't-"
You winced as the pain of your wounds finally hit you.
You applied pressure to the gash that almost went from your shoulder down to your elbow.
Not to mention the several thorns in your palms.
"Y/n, you should go" Hades said looking past you, a spooked expression on his face.
"No" you cried, "I really didn't mean any-"
"No, Y/n, just go I'll be fine" he said gesturing behind you.
The furry beast was almost out of the roots you trapped him in.
He gave a loud roar, then you heard voices yell, "over here! I see them"
You panicked, the VKs had caught up, and the beast was going to be loose any moment, "I won't leave you"
"I'll take care of it, go to the mountains, take Beast, I'm sure your make the right choice now with your head clear" his words were soft, really showing his care for you.
He gave you a smile, a loving smile that made your heart flutter.
He gripped his ember, releasing himself from the thorns, he hesitated before approaching you, and gently placed one hand in you gash, and another on your cheek.
You looked up at him, teary eyed, as you felt him heal your cut.
"Guys come on! I see them!" They yelled.
He looked at your e/c before placing a soft kiss on your forehead, "go" he whispered.
You tipped toed and placed a kiss on his cheek and nodded, he gave your hand a small squeeze before letting you go.
You picked your dress up slightly and quickly scanned the scene.
The furry beast was nearly loose, meanwhile the Beast held the wand and started to run away.
"Oh no you don't" you said swishing your hand making him trip over nothing.
You caught up and picked him up by the arm, taking away the wand.
"Let me go" he said through gritted teeth.
You didn't reply as you transported yourselves away from the forest.

The Beast groaned as he sat up and held his head.
He looked down at his hands, they were still being held with clear chains.
He looked around, he was at the edge of the forest near a creek, at the foot of the mountains.
He adjusted his glasses and saw you sitting near the creek, your shoes abandoned a few feet away from you, hugging your knees.
You finally able to catch your breath.
Whatever happened in the woods went by so fast, it all seems like a big blur, you couldn't remember everything.
Everything Hades said to you replayed in your head.
It made you smile at how thoughtful and supportive he was.
How patient he was.
How understanding he was, he understood that it was the scepter's doing and not you, that you had no choice.
A tear rolled down your cheek as you thought about how much he deserved better than you.
You felt like you treated him badly, like you've taken him for granted.
You lowered your hand and let the refreshing water hit your hand.
You brought it up to your face smudging your make up even more than your tears had .
You slid your hand down your torn sleeve of your dress, where the gash had been, and then to your forehead where Hades' lips had been.
"If you weren't going to take over the kingdom I'd say you two just ended all evil from the kingdom!"
You turned your head to see the Beast up, he was unconscious when you got here.
You manged to muster up a weak smile, then it disappeared as you remembered what he had done to you.
"That was beyond what I thought was possible!" he went on, "destroying the scepter!"
"Shut up, just because you helped me doesn't mean we're all besties!" you said bluntly.
You got up and slipped your shoes back on and adjusted the crown on your head.
"We had a common goal, and all of us, Hades too, and our magic combined-"
You waved your hand to mute him again, then signaled for him to start walking up the mountain path, you didn't wanna hear him, after all you had a lot to think about, a lot of pressure to make the right choice.

Back in the forest...
"Come on!" Hades yelled ready to fight this beast.
The beast growled at him and started running, but midway he transformed into a boy.
Hades realized who it was and put on a wicked smile.
By destroying the scepter, everything that had been spelled returned to normal.
'Audrey had spelled Ben... and the rest of Auradon, which meant that now everyone was watching and panicked, super!' he mentally rolled his eyes, then returned to reality, "Well, well, well, what do we have here" he teased grabbing a strong grip on boy.
"Ben!"
Hades looked up to see his daughter.
"Dad let him go!" She shrieked.
And every single person she traveled with turned heads to look at her, and Ben turned his head to look at him.
"He's your daddy?" Uma looked at her as if she was crazy.
"Your half Hades!" Jay exclaimed.
"That's your dad!" Carlos ran a hand through his hair.
And the others had similar reactions.
"It looks like you got a lot of explaining to do to your friends, Maly, ta ta!"
"No wait!" Jay ran up to him, "where's Y/n?"
"Y/n is making the most important decision of her life right now" he said in a menacing tone.
His grip on Ben tightened making him give a yelp.
"Can you take us to her?" Jay asked.
Hades didn't have time to think as a loud thunder and blue lighting broke the sky followed by hard pouring rain.
"That's her! Come on!"  He ran through the forest behind him a handful of VKs.
He wanted to go there to bring you back, maybe you could move in with him, he'd make you feel like his queen, forget all this madness, live in the isle with you, that would be nice.
He knew, he knew what you chosen, and he wished you hadn't.
He knew you were about to unleash all of hell over Auradon.

Ain't this getting good! I really felt like I wrote 3 chapters in this one, it was just getting so good, I didn't wanna let you all waiting for 3 weeks!
