A/n: I didn't do the whole song word for word, I cut it a little just so that it wasn't too long.
In the dark walk, Hades broke the silence, "What are you going to do when you cross the barrier?"
You thought about this, you hadn't told him anything about your past, so you informed him.
"...so, when I break out, I'll put the King in my exact prison, for however long I was in, maybe even longer, till he gets grey hair." you said, "what about you, why were you trying to get out?"
"I think you have a point," he said, "what makes Belle and Beast think they can cast out those who don't fit the Auradon mold? Deciding who's good or bad, what's right or wrong?" He raised his voice, "Forcing everyone who disagreed with them away to a crowded little island with no magic, no freedom... no hope. There's only so long you can be here before it drives you to madness"
"100% agree with everything you just said" you said.
"I was Lord of the Underworld not lord of the Underground! I didn't want their world when they imprisoned me here, but after being caged up for years, " he gave a wicked smile, "maybe  I do want to take everything from them"
"I could use a partner in crime" you said with a soft smile.
"Did you just make me your sidekick? Your henchman?" He asked, "cause darling, it's going to be the other way around"
"Auradon's forgotten how close they are to the threat they created" you said laughing softly.
"They don't know what's coming, and all that stands in our way is a foolish prince and a handful of VKs that turned their backs on their own people" his voice full of poison.
"This should be easy," you giggled as you reached the top of the small mountain.
"Here it is hole sweet hole" you said entering the small cave.
Hades looked around, he barely fit, his hair brushed the top of the cave, he now understood why you got so emotional when you entered his cave.
"Cozy place you got" he said as he slumped on your rolly chair, "let's get rest, tommorow we take over Auradon" he took out black shades from inside his coat and dosed off.
You smiled at his sleeping position and sat on your bed.
You didn't feel sleepy.
Instead you sat at the entrance of your door, looking out at the shiny moon.
You looked back at a sleeping Hades.
You broke out into another smile.
Even though you've just spent less  than 24 hours with this man, you already felt something when you were together. In your heart.
You put a hand over your chest, feeling your heart beat.
'good, it's still here' you thought.
But you quickly brushed your feelings away as you didn't have time for that, you had to focus on your goal of punishing the beast.
You looked out at the night sky, it was probably around midnight.

"A million thoughts in my head
Should I let my heart keep listening?" You whispered to yourself.

"I can't decide what's wrong," you looked at Hades, "what's right" you looked across the barrier at Auradon,
"Which way should I go?"
You stood up, you felt overwhelmed and your breath was shallow, you need fresh air even though you were outside.
You wanted to run away, start over, not be locked up.
So you did run, you didn't know where your legs were taking you, but you liked the fresh air in your face, "If only I knew what my heart was telling me

You looked at you surroundings and saw a sign that said, 'Danger Flying Rocks'
"If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be

You broke out into a run again, "I can't decide what's wrong, what's right
Which way should I go?"

"If only,"  your legs started to slow down, "if only"
"If only" you whispered as looked up to see where you legs took you.
There, in front of you was the familiar sign of 'Get Lost' in the weird font.
You walked through the familiar tunnels of darkness until you reached the inside.
Then you walked up to wall where the mirror was and took it off, then you walked back up to your place.
**2 am**
You got back to your place and still didn't feel sleepy.
So you decided to get ready for the morning.
Hades was still in the room(asleep) so you couldn't use the shower head.
So you put on a dress and did your make up.
(A few choices)

You wanted to look good. So when people saw you they saw someone who is serious, and did not come to play. You wanted them to think, 'crap she's going to take over the kingdom maybe I should bow'.
You wanted to look intimating, if you wore some old rags or a plain black T-shirt then you would just get laughed at and stepped all over, returned to your prison.
Beast didn't lock you up in some old tux he had. He had a smooth and spotless suit on.
You wanted to look the same when you saw him straight in the eyes.
You brushed your hair with Jay's brush and looked at the mirror while pinning your hair back with this clip you took while at Jafar's shop:

You completed your look by wearing your amulet around your neck.
The sun started to rise as you looked into the mirror, waiting for something to happen.
"What happened to you?" You heard Hades' voice behind you, "did fairy god mother come over night? Did you take her wand?"
You laughed, "no" tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
"Well you look ravishing if I do say so myself" he said.
"Thanks" you said looking at your reflection in the mirror your cheeks slightly burning, "does it look like I'm about to take over Auradon?"
"You look like their queen" he said with a little bow, then sat next to you, "These oats, by the way, are terrible, they taste like cardboard" he said.
He extended his hand, and in his palm was a small pile of oats.
"Yeah, I know" you said while taking some oats from his palm, "everything thing in that fridge is garbage"
"You went back for my mirror? Did you even get any sleep?" He asked why throwing the pile of oats out.
But before you had time to answer, both of your attention went to the mirror, that glowed purple.
You looked into it, there was no reflection of you and Hades, it was a cabin in the woods.
Standing outside it was the one with purple hair, Mal, and one with pink and purple hair you recognized from last night.
She was holding the scepter and wearing the crown.
They appeared to be arguing, when the new self proclaimed "queen" bashed the scepter and a cloud of pink smoke appeared and disappeared to reveal an old hag were Mal was.
"Well she seems like a real party pooper" you laughed, "there's the ones we need to get past-hey doesn't this thing have volume?" You felt around the mirror as her friends came to her aid.
Hades laughed, "it's a mirror, not a speaker"
The group of VKs seemed to be discussing something, probably what their next move was.
"Agh, their plotting and we could be listening but instead we get to lip read" you said.
This self made villain was moving fast, now she was what appeared to be a birthday party.
"Who is this again?" You asked as you saw a guy with blonde curls coward behind her.
"I've only ever seen her a couple of times and I believe that she is sleeping beauty's daughter" Hades said as you watched her spell more people by putting them to sleep.
"How ironic" you said as the mirror switched images to an office with the prince from yesterday, "this one has me stumped, who are his parents?" You asked as the "queen" appeared with a cloud of pink smoke.
"Right, forgot you lived under a rock this whole time" he joked and you elbowed him in the ribs, "the boy is Beast and Belle's son, Ben."
You guys watched as she cast another spell this time the pink smoke wiped out the mirror scene complete replacing it with you and Hades' reflection.
"She shouldn't be a threat to us, in fact she could be easily manipulate to think we're on her side." you said.
"You still thinking they're coming back?" Hades asked getting up then helping you.
"Yeah, by the looks of it. That, correct me if I'm wrong, that is Maleficent's scepter she had?" You asked.
"That is correct, yes" he said, "why do you think, both Mal and Ben, tried taking it away from her"
"Ok, but think like them" you said, "a prissy pink princess has Maleficent's scepter, obviously she doesn't know what she's doing, I mean none of them do but anyways" you paused and turned to Hades, and pointed a finger at him, "now let's pretend that you, are a prissy princess, with purple hair, and you see another princess with Maleficent's scepter, what do you think?" You then said in a mocking voice, "Oh no! Nothing can stop her now!" then back in your normal voice, "except what, Mr. Lord of the Underworld?"
Hades gave this some thought.
"What is the only thing they know of that can defeat that scepter?" You said.
Hades face turned into a smile as he tossed up his ember and caught it with one hand.
You smiled and nodded.
"So they are coming back" Hades said, "for this," he held his ember up, "what do you know, you were right last night, then it's good thing I came with you last night"
"Very good choice, indeed" you said.
"We should get going, we have to be there when they open the barrier" Hades asked, "but first" he got the mirror and smashed it on the floor breaking it with a loud crash.
"What you do that for!" You said as you moved to that you wouldn't be harmed by the glass.
"We don't need them finding out our source of information" Hades said, "and we won't be needing it anymore"
You started walking down the dirt path as Hades joined you.
"So, Mr. I-Know-it-all" you said, Hades sent you a playful glare, "how exactly is it that they open the barrier?"
"With a small control, actually, the driver usually has it" Hades said, "in this case, it's your little friend Jay"
"Hades what ever you do, do not touch that boy!" You said, "harm one hair on his head and-" you looked at him eyes glowing yellow to show how serious you were.
You scanned his body up and down, and you eyes turned back to there normal color, "we'll see what I do" you said with a smirk
"I won't even look at him" he said, "so how exactly do you plan getting the control from him?"
"You'll see" you said as the sun was now fully shining over the isle.

You guys quick followed the VKs as they park their bikes, staying out of sight.
But two rascals and their crew took off on the bikes, you guys followed them discreetly.
Behind you, Jay and the Evil Queen's daughter ran after them.
Mal, Cruella's son and a girl with puffy red hair went a separate way.
'probably to go get the ember' you thought, 'I wish I could see their face's when they find an empty cave'
"Y/n, now!" Hades snapped you out of your thoughts as you stopped walking.
You heard their footsteps coming.
When they reached you and Hades, you tripped them.
You tripped Jay and Hades tripped the Queen's daughter.
"Hey!"
"What the!"
You quickly stood over Jay, holding him down on the ground, making sure he didn't see you.
Meanwhile Hades struggled keeping Queen's daughter still.
"I'm sorry Jay" you said as you whacked him over the head with a wooden stick, like the one you had last night at Jafar's shop.
"No! Jay!" the girl shrieked as Jay was now unconscious.
"Hades!" You hissed, "shut her up!"
"I could use a little help" he said as she kicked and struggled to free herself from his grip, "she won't stay still"
You took some old rag on the floor and tied it around her mouth (she tried to bite, and kept moving her head around making it difficult for you to tie), "don't make me hit you with the stick" you said as you helped Hades wrap and tied her with an old decaying rope.
Then you went through Jay's pocket's until you found what you were looking for.
The control.
"Great! Let's go" you said to Hades.
You sat the unconscious Jay next to Queen's daughter and pressed you finger against your lips indicating for her to be quiet as she continues to struggle.

You and Hades stared at the barrier in front you guys.
"Alright, here goes nothing" you breathed out.
You pressed a button and the barrier started to slowly open from the center.
"Yes!" You exclaimed, "it worked! Finally!"
You hugged Hades, he was a little taken back.
"Yeah, come on let's go" he said pulling you away.
You guys started to walk to the barrier, that was now fully open.
But you heard running footsteps behind you.
Panicked that it was the VKs, you pressed the other button, the barrier started to slowly close.
You broke out into a run to catch up to Hades, who already crossed.
But someone pulled your hand back.
You looked back, expecting Mal, but instead it was the rascals that took Jay's bike.
"Oh no you don't, we're coming with you" one with a red sleeveless coat(similar to the one Hades wore) and a sliver hook said in a thick accent.
You didn't have time to match the parent, you quick kicked him in the shin, he let you go and you hurried to cross the closing barrier.
The other guy, a blonde caught you by the waist, as if giving you a hug, but you quickly elbowed him in the face.
"Ow!" he whined letting you go to attend his face.
And with that you crossed the barrier before it closed leaving the two goofs inside.
You breathing heavy as you caught your breath from all the commotion.
"That-" you breath, "was a close one" you said as you looked ahead at the magic bridge that crossed the ocean.
"Captain Hook's  and Gaston's sons" Hades said as he started to walk.
"A little detour, but hey, we crossed, we're one step closer to taking over Auradon" you looked around for the control, but you didn't have it.
"What?" Hades questioned as you looked around the path.
"I-I, the control it's gone!" You said.
"What! You lost it!" Hades said, "great it's probably fell onto the ocean!"
"It's not in the ocean" you said looking back at the closed barrier in horror.
There, behind the barrier, was the two goofs holding up the control, clearly mocking with a huge cheshire cat smile.
"You dropped it!" Hades exclaimed.
"I didn't drop it!" you said, "those sons of a biscuit took it! The one I elbowed with blonde hair!"
"We can't go back now" Hades said.
"Let's just keep going, they can have" you said, "we won't be needing it anymore anyway"
You sighed in frustration as you continued your journey across the bridge.

Back inside the Isle...
Harry yelled in frustration as he was still stuck inside.
"Hey, Harry, look what I took from her! What do you think it's from? A television? Do we get to watch t.v, Harry?" Gil said while rubbing his face with one hand and holding the control in the other, all while felling pain and joy at the same time, "she hit me pretty hard" he continued to rub his nose.
But Harry had a wicked smile on his face, "gimme that!" he snatched the control from Gil, "this is the control to open the barrier!"
"Woah! And what should we do? Should we open it now?" Gil said smiling and reaching for the control.
Harry pulled the control away from Gil's reach and thought.
"No, let them get away" he said looking as you and Hades looked around, for the control he assumed, "Jay and the others are going to come back"
He moved closer to the barrier, joined by Gil.
He wickedly smiled and held up the control as he saw you and Hades looking back.
He pointed with his hook at the control, "Looking for this" he said nasty at you and to complete the previous sentence.
Gil laughed and soon Harry did too, to make you guys angry, they were bad guys, it part of what they do, make people mad on a daily basis.
