Magic Class

Icy's POV
Friday soon rolled around. Which meant I had to go to the secret magic class in the basement. Should be fun.  I'm actually excited to meet the schools delinquents.

It has actually been a pretty good week at Auradon Prep. But I hadn't seen my sister, since Monday. Was she avoiding me? I thought we were passed all this. Today in the morning, I asked Josh where he thought she was, and he said that she was at her locker. When I walked over to her locker, she was there but when she saw me she ran the other direction. What was her problem? But I just ignored it all day, and focused on the Magic Class tonight.

That evening Harriet was on her bed talking on the phone, and I was in the bathroom getting dressed in a new outfit because during PE I got splashed with mud.  I was not happy.  I changed into a pair of white leggings and a black leather skirt, and a blue blouse with a black leather jacket.  I straightened my hair and put a white beanie on.  I walked out of the bathroom and Harriet was still on the phone.

"I had a lot of fun on our date." Harriet said into the phone. "I never knew throwing a ball at some pins would be so fun.  It's kind of like a game we played on the Isle.  But we used a boulder and instead of pins we used the trolls."

This was weird.  Harriet was smiling, and not talking in her low cold voice.  She was talking in a perky happy voice.  It was sickening.

"Hey I've got to go Pete."  Harriet said.  "You hang up...no you hang up."  I was getting tired of this so I grabbed the phone out of her hand and hung up the phone.

"No I'll hang up."  I said.

"Wow someone's in a mood."  Harriet said.

"What's gotten into you?"  I said.  "What happened to the tough cold girl I used to know?"

"I'm still that girl."  Harriet said and stood up.

"No your not.  You've changed, a lot.  I don't like that."  I said.

"Listen Icy, you are not the boss of me.  Or anyone else."  Harriet snapped.  "I don't think it's a crime to talk to my boyfriend and teammate.  So leave me alone!"  Harriet then stormed out of the room.  I might have just lost my best friend.  Great...now I've lost two important people in my life.

Anyways, I put on my combat boots and walked out the door.  I walked into the school, and to the basement door.  There I saw Josh standing in front of the door.

"Hey Icy."  Josh said.  "You ready?"

"As I'll ever be."  Icy said.  "You know what I'm actually impressed that you guys are doing something bad.  I think you guys will be a good fit on the Isle."  Josh laughed and smiled and then opened the door.  I walked in and he walked in behind me.  He then closed the door behind us.  We walked down the stairs.  When we got downstairs I saw 3 girls and one boy.  When we got in the room they all looked at me and gasped.

"Hey everyone, this is my cousin Icy Queen."  Josh said.  "And before you all yell at me...the reason I brought her here is because she has magic too and so she won't feel alone here in this new world."

"Hi everyone."  I said and waved.  The only person in the little group I recognized was Jane.  Wow learning magic without her mother knowing.  She just earned my respect.

"But Josh she's a VK."  The Boy said.

"Yes but she's just like me.  She has snow and ice magic."  Josh said.  "And we all know how confusing those kind of powers could be."  All of them nodded in agreement.

"Guys we should give her a chance.  I mean, she is one of us."  Jane said and walked up to us.  "We are the only kids in Auradon that have magic, and would like to learn how to control them."

"Janes right."  A girl said and walked up to Jane.  She had blond hair with green and gold streaks in it and wore a pair of jeans, a green blouse and a gold headband.  "We created this group so we wouldn't feel alone and so we could help each other with our powers. Just because she's a VK doesn't mean we can't help her."

"Exactly Trixie."  Josh said. "So we should treat her the same as everyone else."

Everyone nodded and smiled.

"So everyone introduce yourself." Josh said.

"You know me, I'm Jane." Jane said.

"I'm Trixie, the daughter of Tinker Bell." Trixie said.

"I'm April the daughter of Flora.  She's one of the fairies who gave Sleeping Beauty a gift."  April said. She had long curly brown hair with a red streak in it and she wore a short red dress with a silver belt.

"I'm Tony, I'm the Blue Fairy's son."  Tony said.  He had brown hair and wore a pair of jeans and a blue shirt, and a silver beanie.

"It's nice to meet you guys." I said. "Can I just say one thing. I'm impressed at what you guys are doing. This is truly bad. That's why, I'll join your little group."  They all laughed.

"Yeah, we believe that magic is what makes us special, so why can't we use it. We don't agree with the King Beast. Magic shouldn't be outlawed." April said.

"So that why we created this club." Tony said. "Using out magic we created a barrier around the basement and the basement door. So anyone without magic can't enter this basement every Friday."

"That's awesome."  I said.

"How about you show us what you got."  Josh said.  I nodded.  I walked up to a wall and shot a blast of ice at it with my hands.  The entire wall turned to ice.  It then started to snow in the room.  That was unintentional.

"Wow."  They all said.  I smiled and faced them.  They all had astonished looks on their faces.

"I vote her our group leader."  Tony said.

"Me too."  Josh said.  The rest of them agreed.

"Why thank you."  I said.  I snapped my fingers and the ice on the wall, and the snow disappeared.  "But I still have a lot to learn.  That snow was unintentional."

"Don't worry we'll help you."  Josh said.

"That's why we made it the group."  Jane said.  "To help each other."

I was never used to people helping me.  I was always a loner.  We except for my friends.  But when they weren't around.  I was a total lone wolf.  But maybe it was time to start letting new people in.  I think I just found where I belong here at Auradon Prep.
