This is Me - The Greatest Showman (changed the song, I think this one goes better with this scene)
The world is moving.
City lights are glowing.
People are walking down the sidewalk.
Talking to each other.
Imprinting each other's face in their memories.
The smiles.
The pitches of each other's voices.
The glow behind a smile.
Memory.
Keeping it as a memory before one day.... That's all it becomes.
Not many take those moments seriously though.
They expect the second they separate; they'll just see each other again eventually. See a message from each other when they get home, probably in a week from now.
It never crosses their minds that this encounter, could be their last.
All because of how unpredictable life is.
Right now, here in this public park skating rink, no one is worried or possibly have in mind that the person next to them could possibly overdose the next day. Be killed by a car accident. Possibly is bullied in school or got fired from their job.
No, they're not thinking about that.
They're thinking about how in this moment, how the skates on their feet hurt and this heavy attempt to not crash down to the ice. They're smiling at the kids riding on the support guides to not fall, squealing to the once in a year fun during the winter.
There are people drinking hot chocolate by the stance, desperate to warm their icy hands while gazing to the inexperienced skaters in the ice.
Others are leaving.
More are arriving.
And majority.... Are about to experience what it is to remember something for the rest of their life.
Mixed in within the crowd is a man, coated with a warm jacket and a beanie snuggled on his head to conceal his blonde hair. Beside him is a girl, who has an arm interlaced with his as they both skate quietly beside each other.
No, they haven't fell.
Nor were they drawing so much attention.
They fit in quite well.
But everything eventually comes to an end.
And that was when the music of the rink changed, letting a soft violin classical music twinkle in the rink instead.
The man hesitantly looks around, taking in the happy smiles from the people around him and measuring with his eyes the large perimeter of the ice. It's large enough for a one to perform a ice musical here, of course once it's empty.
A perfect place to be seen.
At the center of the city.
"Are you ready?"
Slowly Taehyung fixes his gaze to his side, meeting Seulgi hesitant stare with a twitching frown.
There's no doubt that Taehyung is nervous.
It's been a long days and weeks of training, relapsing on his depression, protests and conferences with the skating program.
Felix's death; grieving, mourning, feeling suffocated by the world.
Pushing it all through for this moment.
Right here.
To have a voice.
And using it.
To skate.
Giving one last glance around the rink, meeting eyes of many familiar skaters here also fitting in with the crowd in preparation, Taehyung let's out a heavy breath and nods.
"Let's make Felix proud."
Hand in hand now, Taehyung and Seulgi make it to the center of the rink, just as Nayeon is there in her fake attempt in messing up her spins. The second she saw the pair; she smiles in preparation and once again attempts a spin.
As planned, Seulgi goes up to the girl and does a basic spin in a slow process to show her.
Nayeon does it once, failing.
Does it again, failing.
So, Taehyung goes up and smoothly does his forward entrance before doing a bullet spin, easily.
A few people have already snapped their attention to him, clapping or gasping to Taehyung's spin.
Seulgi then follows suit, doing a donut spin before doing a quick transition to an upright cross foot spin. This caught more attention, a lot more people stopping and watching her as she grasps the rest of the attention from the people here. Nayeon happily claps at them before doing a backwards entrance to her spin and does an A- Frame spin.
Smoothly.
As they performed their spins, many people began to suddenly recognize their faces, whispering amongst each other but suddenly squeals and cheers to when the three of them did a catch foot camel spin, going fast and faster as their foot goes higher - earning screams and hollers from everyone around them in and outside the rink.
By the time they finished, many people stopped skating just to applaud them.
It's time.
Nayeon looks at the pair with thumbs up, smiling brightly in enthusiasm.
Show time.
Taehyung removed his jacket and beanie, revealing his shiny blonde hair with his equally glittering gold top piece of his outfit. Seulgi also removes her coat, revealing her golden dress as well, glittering with pieces of white and black to match Taehyung's attire.
Nayeon takes their jackets and beanies and skates out to the exit, just as Taehyung and Seulgi warm up with spins, simple jumps, working together with smiles on their faces to entertain the crowd. By this point everyone that was on the ice exited out quickly, now intrigued to watch while someone films fromm the boards.
"Live from Songdo Central Park appears to be Kim Taehyung and Kang Seulgi are making a surprise performance as a stance for their We All Deserve to Skate cause! Will we expect more skaters - Woah!"
Suddenly entering the rink is Lalisa, leading a sea of people representing different skating teams worldwide taking the perimeter to speed skate while being dressed in all black. People of different genders, colors, sexual orientation - all coming together while they skate around Seulgi and Taehyung warming up.
The music abruptly changes and through the midst of the skaters in enters more from all angles of the rink - over the ledge, through the doors - approaching the center dressed in white to Taehyung and Seulgi - just as she's in the air in a lift over Taehyung's head.
The skaters dressed in white all got into an individual spin simultaneously around them, shifting at the same time to change to different spins, while Taehyung throws Seulgi in the air with her own spin before she lands it perfectly.
Just as the speed skaters all stopped around the ledge, pounding their fists against it simultaneously.
Rising the adrenaline and anticipation when a familiar man suddenly crawls his way from the entrance and across the ice.
The man is dressed in fire red, specks of gold glowing just like his now blonde hair, as he drastically crawls across the ice with a hand on his head over his eyes. He suddenly slumps on the ice, moving to his back and pulses his chest up as though his heart was pounding out of his ribcage.
Moving along with the beat of the slamming fists of the ledges from the skaters.
Now quivering, he spins and gets on his knees with hands still covering his face.
Until another figure skater entered the ice.
Dressed in an ice blue attire, fading, like the red attire of the man.
And without his hearing aids.
The man twirls effortlessly before he abruptly places his hands over his ears, falling to the ground with a yelp. The man in red snaps his head to the sound, dropping his hands from his face, revealing the blue blindfold concealing his eyes.
The crowd shriek and gasps, some even scream in hollers as they suddenly recognized the familiar skaters on the ice.
Jimin, the one dressed in all red, moves his head to where where he heard the noise; specifically, to Jeongguk - The skater in blue - collapsed to the ground, but forces his hands back to his face with a slow and broad shake of his head before he collapses as well.
But his legs didn't give up.
They kicked the air and pushed him to sit back up, spreading his fingers on the ice as they drew designs while following the music and the beat of the pounding fists before he smoothly got to his feet and goes to where Jeongguk was, but his legs gave up, falling beside him.
Just as they practiced.
Jeongguk still has his hands to his ears, laying to his side, but Jimin with one hand reaches out and removes it but Jungkook snatches his wrist with his other hand, the two sitting up now facing each other. The opposite hands reached out to each other, just as their bodies moved away from it before simultaneously placing a foot on the ice - Jungkook's hand still on Jimin's wrist while the other hand caress the air around them with a dip back before their forced each other to their feet.
Their movements told a story.
A story of a boy with darkness in his eyes only guided by the other boy with silent ears and lips.
A story of the desperation to seek each other but hiding behind their condition from being able to touch each other's hearts.
A story of a fallen, the despair, the clear thrive to skate.
The thrive to perform, even if it's impossible.
Pushing his hand off his wrist, Jimin pats his hands on Jeongguk's body before finding his ears to clasp over them, but Jeongguk forces them off and clasp his hands over Jimin's eyes. The fists pound faster now on the ledge, just as the rest of the skaters are doing leaps and spins in the air with their partners or spinning before approaching the pair in red and blue.
Separating them, Jimin and Jeongguk is carried away in different directions while kicking the air while the skaters in white twirl and move around them in speed while also doing the same with Taehyung and Seulgi.
Bringing them to the center, skating around them hysterical before they all abruptly drop to the ground.
Just as Taehyung and Jeongguk lifts both Jimin and Seulgi in the air.
Ending it with a push with them spinning in the air and landing back into their arms.
Stopping the drumming all together.
The crowd roared in cheers, fiercely clapping their hands as the speed skating team bowed to them, along with the skaters dressed in white - who got up eventually to show their gratitude.
When they all exit the ice, the only ones there was Taehyung and Seulgi in position.
Just as the music started, so did the story of their dance.
Tourner Dans La Vide - Indila
The story of what's been going on.
The story of how after Felix's death, the team have completely broken apart.
Not only the team, but the skating world as a whole.
No one ever expected for it to happen, especially to someone with such vibrant energy as Felix - whose love, and passion was the ice.
"Il en était fier, mais pourquoi vous riez? Non, ne le jugez pasVous qui ne connaissez pas."
He was proud of it, but why are you laughing? No, do not judge him. You, who do not know.
With every stroke of their hands hand against the air, movements growing sharper to the music, illustrated the pain. The frustration. The guilt. They weren't there for him. They weren't there to help him, or each other.
This completely tore the skating world from the pedestal, falling into a motion of grief and despair.
"Seule je crie son nom quand vient le désarroi. Et puis tout s'effondre quand il n'est plus là."
Alone, I shout out his name, when comes the disarray. And then everything is falling apart, when he is not here anymore.
The days that followed after that were filled with no motivation or even inspiration to continue fighting anymore.
For some, hitting more than others.
And the last kick was when Ten ended up quitting all together from everything, moving out of the dorm because he couldn't bear being in the same place he saw the love of his life die in his arms.
He tried, best believe he did.
But his heart was too fragile.
He couldn't handle it.
Felix's absence left him in a hole with no end, and no one was in the proper head space to even help him either.
"Lui qui me fait. Tourner dans le vide, vide. Tourner dans le vide, vide. Tourner dans le vide, il me fait tourner."
He makes me. Turn in the void. turn in the void, void. Turn in the void, he makes me turn.
Everyone was breaking apart.
Everyone expected that this was it.
It was over.
The cause, the skating, everything.
Who else has to die for this? This isn't what they were fighting for.
Yet it happened.
Now everyone was terrified.
And hopeless.
"Qui peut bien me dire ce qui est arrivé? Depuis qu'il est parti, je n'ai pu me relever. Ce n'est plus qu'un souvenir, une larme du passé."
Who could tell me what happened? Since he left, I could not recover again. It is just a memory now, a tear from the past.
Until.... A miracle occurred in the darkness.
A blessing in disguise.
That happened so suddenly and out of the blue.
Jeongguk started to sing.
No, not openly, but whenever he touched the ice - he would sing the lyrics of the song he's meant to perform in his head and use speed or his movements to ease down the anxiety of using his voice.
No one knew about it, not even Jimin.
Until they were rehearsing one day and Jeongguk started singing the song, using it to guide Jimin for him to know where he was.
Memorizing it by heart - to the last note, beat, rhythm, everything about the song connecting to their dance.
A voice.
Jeongguk was using his voice.
And after the team saw how he would use it to his advantage while using no hearing heads or getting a panic attack due to his moves, they began to remember why exactly they were doing this.
To skate.
To have equality for everyone to skate.
To feel alive.
When that moment happened, that epiphany, they started again to pursue their passion.
They knew that they couldn't give up now, they have to reach the end.
Felix wouldn't want them to give up what they started.
So, they will do this, for him and for everyone to skate.
Because if they don't, no one will.
"Ils sont superficiels, ils ignorent tout du cœur. Lui, c'était tout mon monde et bien plus que ça."
They are superficial, are ignorant of everything about Heart. He was my whole world, and much more than that
The first time they touched the ice, that Yoongi managed to sneak them in after late hours to practice, Hongjoong had a mental break down.
Only thinking of Felix's broad smile as he cheered for the team whenever they would win an event.
All Hongjoong believed was that he failed as a captain.
As a leader.
And it fucking ate him alive since Felix's death.
With every spin and lift Taehyung and Seulgi performed in the air showed how the team tried to pick themselves up again for this day.
For this moment.
How Karma broke his speed record during a practice run against Jeongguk, but had an angry outburst in the locker room when he saw Felix's locker with his skates still inside.
The way Woosung would be the shoulder everyone leaned onto with his angelic presence but would scream against his pillow at night in hysteria and fear to what may come for the team in the future.
How Seokjin would drain his body to the last bit of energy every day during practice until his legs became numb, but then would go to Felix's room and lay on his bed; somehow feeling the small boy curled up against his body like how he used to when he would hug his pillow.
The multiple attempts of motivational speeches from Minho, hyping up the team during practice and clapping them up to get better, before going to Taehyung's apartment to only get shrivel of panic attacks because of how terrified he is of himself and his team.
And how Jeongguk's silent presence and small singing voice here and there would be used to motivate the team, only to be filled with constant overwhelming anxiety of leaving his team on their own. Scared that something like what happened to Felix would happen to any of them at any given moment.
Now with Ten gone, the team has to fill in the holes that the two players used to fill to the team.
Seulgi's triple axel jumps signified their push to try.
To keep fight.
To keep pushing.
Even if they felt the pressure of the world attacking from all angles to their shoulders.
But at least they weren't alone.
They had each other for support, the whole way there.
Support from those who were still supporting them.
Many teams and agencies from different countries.
Their coaches.
While stirring in the void.
The song along with the performance not only caught the breath away from every single person watching, but also made the players grow emotional since they.... Felt it.
They felt everything Taehyung and Seulgi created out there in the ice.
Especially the hidden teammate watching in the midst of the crowd, letting a tear glide down his cheek as he watches with silent lips.
From the beginning, all the way to this moment.
But he wasn't alone for long, or so hidden as he thought he was.
A presence suddenly makes its way beside him, and he didn't have to turn to know who it was.
Nor was he surprised.
"Missing the ice?"
Ten frowns to his words, wiping a tear away with his fist, "Reminds me of him."
"I know," Hongjoong whispers quietly, staring out to the performance alongside with him, "It wasn't your fault Ten."
A sarcastic chuckle escapes Ten's lips, shaking his head in disbelief, "I was his partner. I should've been more -"
"And I was his captain," Hongjoong says, silencing Ten's lips, "My responsibility is to make sure everyone in the team is okay, and I failed to do that. It's not your fault, stop telling yourself that, okay?"
More tears glided down Ten's cheeks unwillingly, lips quivering before an unprovoked sob escaped his lips to his captain's, glaring at the sky, "T-This.... Has been k-killing me..... I miss skating."
Hongjoong stares at his teammate with a deep frown and brings him into a side hug, "It's never too late to come back."
Ten slowly fixes his eyes to him, seeing the longing in his leader's eyes as he pleads the skater to come back.
To come back to his family.
To where he once felt complete.
Unable to say anything, Ten only stares back to the rink with his fragile eyes.
Letting his captain hold him in his embrace, comforting his loss.
The loss of his partner.
His best friend.
His first and only love.
While they get through this together as a team.
Out there in the ice, Taehyung was growing a hard time being able to bear his emotions in.
The music being the key factor to the numbness that filled in his chest.
"Aidez-moi tout s'effondre puisqu'il n'est plus là. Sais-tu mon bel amour, mon beau soldat."
Help me. Everything is falling apart since he's not here anymore. Do you know my fair love, my beautiful soldier.
Taehyung's eyes burned, closing them as the chorus echoed the rink as he spins with Seulgi in his arms.
It was during that lingering high and long note that Taehyung felt it.
He felt Felix's void.
Sure, he was not part of the team, but he's just as close to them as Karma is. Felix would always go to his performances. Screaming louder than any voice combined on the bleachers. Only followed by his warm embrace when Taehyung would step off the ice, being praised over and over to how well he did.
Even if Taehyung failed, he still saw the positive in that.
Felix was the golden pillar in the skating program.
Everyone knew him.
Everyone adored him.
And now he's gone.
Leaving them to spin in his void, fighting for this to not happen to anyone else again.
The fuming thought only pushed Taehyung so hard that he couldn't hold back his sob, but he held it in up until his last pose with Seulgi - just as the song ended.
It was at that moment.
Where everyone was cheering, screaming, hollering in joy to the performance - Where Taehyung felt the weight. The world slowed and he couldn't hear anything.
Letting it all sink in.
Of reality.
Of not seeing the freckled boy in the crowd anymore.
Of..... His life.
Everything.
The force was so hard that he stumbled to the side, immediately having Seulgi as aid to hold him and quickly guided him to the boards with the skaters were making way for them - still hollering in screeches - while a few girls from the speed skating team got out there to perform a competition.
Taehyung's legs are trembling, vision darkening before his eyes, and everyone around him - specifically the athletes - noticed his state and quickly shot their arms out to catch him when he suddenly collapsed on the ground panting for air.
Scared.
Paranoid.
And angry.
So damn angry.
"Give him room! Don't crowd around him!"
Taehyung barely heard Yoongi's voice, but he did feel arms suddenly slide under his body and lift him up - the dullness behind his gaze not making connections to his boyfriend's familiar features as he gets carried away quickly and into the locker room.
Since everyone was too busy outside in the rink to watch the competition, no one was here. So that gave them enough privacy for Yoongi to check on the skater when Minho sat him down on the bench, being of support to sit up while Taehyung continued to breathe heavily with eyes still hooded in numbness.
He didn't even hear the door to the locker room open, nor did he see his twin brother storming inside with Jeongguk and Jimin.
It's as though he's in a daze.
A trance.
And he didn't know how to snap out of it.
"Taehyung? Taehyung - Yoongi! The fuck is going on-"
"Don't get impulsive and calm down!" Yoongi snaps quietly, glaring at the red-haired twins while the blonde twin is still, using Minho as support with gaze intensively to the ground, "He's in shock. Just give him a little time."
Jeongguk furrows his eyebrows to this, still holding Jimin's hand to be of guide to his vision while he used his other hand to sign after adjusting his hearing aids, "Shock? But didn't he skate just fine?"
Yoongi glances at Taehyung, who still hasn't reacted at all, even after Minho gently caresses his hair with his hand as he guides Taehyung's head to his chest gently.
"Something must've triggered him. Just give him time to cool off and his space. Only he knows what truly happened out there on the ice."
Nothing more was said. Jeongguk frowns heavily to the figure skater before following Yoongi's advice and turning around after him, guiding Jimin alongside him to walk out of the locker room - not answering him when he asked what happened.
Karma on the other hand didn't want to leave, but with Minho here he didn't have to worry so much for his brother's well being. So, giving them space, he turns around and -
"Stay."
Slowly Karma froze in place, slowly turning his head to meet Minho's fragile stare as he slowly detaches himself from Taehyung - who was able to sit up on his own now - and approached the twin, "You're his brother. Trust me, he needs you a lot more than he needs me right now ."
This was.... Unexpected.
To say Karma was thrown off would be an understatement. This whole time Karma has let Minho be the pillar to his brother. Guide him. Be his shoulder because he knew how much Taehyung cared about him.
But being reminded that Karma is still just as important to him tugged a nerve in the twin's heart.
A very sensitive nerve.
Especially when Minho gripped him arm, hoping it fuels him with comfort before walking past him and out the locker room.
Leaving the twins alone.
For a long moment, the two didn't move.
With You Till the End ( Sam Tinnesz) - Tommee Profitt
Taehyung's breath is still shakily, quivering, but much calmer compared to how it was earlier. His body is trembling, but with hands interlaced together in a tight hold oozed how he desperately is trying to keep himself together.
With a fragile heart, Karma slowly approaches his brother and kneels in front of him with his own shakily hands on Taehyung's, not snapping him away from his daze.
So Karma takes in a sharp breath, "Tae.... Talk to me.... What's going on?"
For a good moment Taehyung didn't say anything. Karma didn't pressure him, only rubs his thumbs on his knuckles as he patiently waits. Taehyung's breath did squeak, and his lips began to wobble, closing his eyes hard but that still wasn't enough to hold his tears back from gliding down his cheeks.
When he tried to talk, a weak whimper choked out his throat, followed by a wheeze and then a hysterical sob, shaking his head, "I-I.... I can't handle it."
"What can't you handle?"
"E-Everything!" Taehyung exclaims, more tears gliding down his cheek with his voice quivering painfully, "I - I can't fucking b-breathe! Out there.... M-My skating and - Felix gone and I just - It hurts K-Karma. I'm losing m-myself and it's burns! I-I can't keep going!"
Hearing those words like this coming from the person that means more than life itself to you felt more than just being stabbed.
Those were words that could completely kill you from the inside.
Weak.
Hopeless.
It made Karma feel completely hopeless.
For the first time in a long time, his eyes began to burn, and that familiar ache sliced up his throat. Not only by Taehyung's words, but by how weak and exasperated his body language and expression screamed alone.
And Karma felt..... Shit, at that moment he felt like he was fucking dying.
Him and Taehyung have not spoken in so long to each other, emotionally that is, and that's because of Taehyung's isolation to himself.
Karma thought that by giving him his space and letting him be with Minho is what he needed.
How wrong he was....
Taehyung felt even more alone.
And Karma failed him.
The second Karma felt that heaviness right there in his chest, he immediately shakes his head with dark eyes.
No....
No.
He's not going to - no!
Roughly pushing those emotions down, Karma grabs Taehyung's hands harder, making the sobbing twin look into his determined gaze, "You can't handle everything, hm? Sucks right? Suck carrying the whole damn world on your shoulders and not being able to rely on anyone to ease some of that weight, right? Sucks not having a brother to be there when you need him, right? Must suck s-so bad."
The brutal words made Taehyung's face fall, noticing the hurt in Karma's gaze, "Karma -"
"No Taehyung!" Karma cuts in, voice close to a growl, "It fucking hurts hearing how you have forced yourself to think you can't rely onto me. How you've been holding all this in and keeping it to yourself for so long - For fuck sakes Taehyung, did you forget how this all started?!"
Karma now grabs his shoulders, "You got me into skating! Remember? You believed in me when everyone turned their backs to me! You held me up! When no one believed in me! You risked everything for me and saved me in more ways than one - And not just because you're my fucking brother!"
In the beginning Karma wasn't even into skating. Taehyung was the golden child who had the drive to figure skate as a child, to perform and be one with the ice.
It wasn't until Karma went to Taehyung's junior Olympics event that his eyes ignited with inspiration for speed skating - when he saw those people skate with such high velocity and skills that Karma had ever seen before.
That pulled him in.
Then to seeing Taehyung perform professionally, it gave him hope that he'll be out there one day and feel the passion run through his bones like how it did for Taehyung in that moment.
The journey was hard. No one believed in Karma. No one thought he was good enough or even skilled. He was rejected in many programs and was not accepted in the speed skating team in college.
He felt alone, especially since his parents weren't exactly so supportive.
But Taehyung was always there.
Every day that Taehyung finished his practice, he would let Karma skate around the ice and give him tips based on skaters he has spoken to before from the speed skating teams.
When Karma wanted to give up, Taehyung held his hands and said to be everyone's Karma.
And show them how great he truly is.
To come like a storm that they never expected.
Be Karma.
So instead of letting those words of the people bring him down, Karma let it fuel him.
Fuel him good.
And explode it out on the ice.
Many days and weeks and months and years before finally, someone saw his spark.
Jung Hoseok, his coach.
It was during those nights that Taehyung would let him skate after his practice, and the two were going over a few speeding techniques when Hoseok approached them.
Specifically, Karma.
He said he's been watching him for months, skating and improving quicker than any athlete he has ever seen. From there he gave him his card and told him to stop by tomorrow at four.
The two not being aware that he was the Olympic speed skating coach.
That's how Karma's journey began.
All because Taehyung motivated him, encouraged his skills, and never left his side.
And that's something Karma will never forget.
Now it's time for him to be there for his brother, like how he was there for him.
"You are lost now. Everything hurts. You're giving up," Karma whispers to him, forcing more tears past Taehyung's eyes, "So let me be there for you Taehyung! Let me be the one to save you! It kills me to see you struggling like this!" Karma is rambling out, feeling his heart on his sleeve to his brother's puppy eyes staring into his, "I lost Felix too! I am losing myself every single fucking day - but I'm still here because of you! The team! I push and fight more to make sure you are safe and healthy and - For fuck sakes Taehyung, wake up! You mean so much to all of us! Don't give up now!"
It was hard to tell when Karma began to feel this inner desperation for his brother, but now as he lets it out - it felt as though he was finally letting go a puff of air.
And for Taehyung.... He needed that.
A reassurance.
A push.
A reminder that he's not the only one struggling.
The only one coping.
The only one on the verge of giving up.
His brother is here, struggling, dragging himself to the finish line - and still here for his brother.
To make it to the finish line together.
The overwhelming feeling of those words pushed up Taehyung's throat so hard that multiple sobs poured out his trembling lips.
He needs Karma.
He needs his brother.
He needs everyone he has now.
To be his motivation.
To be able to skate.... Freely.
Be free.
With trembling hands, he takes Karma's own shakily hands and guides them to either side of his head, rubbing his knuckles. Quietly Karma nuzzles his forehead with his twin, dragging his hands down to his jaw and wipe his tears with his thumbs when Taehyung sniffles with a weak whimper.
"I need you Karma," Taehyung whispers painfully, closing his eyes, "Tell me this is all going to be worth it. That we will.... Skate again."
Karma takes a deep intake of his breath through the nose, still rubbing his thumbs against Taehyung's cheeks while the other male still caresses his knuckles with fingers wrapped around his wrists.
"We will skate..... We won't give up.... And we will continue to the end," Karma assures him, fluttering his eyes open, meeting Taehyung's own fragile stare, "You and I, till the end. Okay?"
That was all Taehyung needed to hear.
Feeling completely at ease.
Nodding, he whispers, "Okay."
Time flowed slowly between them, but it didn't last long. Soon enough the door to the locker room creaked open and the twins perked their head up.
Seeing Woosung standing there.
Just by the sight of him had Karma evidently relaxed, something Taehyung subtly noticed, but focuses back to Woosung when he cleared his throat.
"Sorry to interrupt but," Woosung pauses, letting out a puff of breath, "Bambi and Jewel are about to perform."
